  1. That was my Halloween costume this year. I dressed up like a Pilgrim. Buckles on my shoes and everything. Then I pointed and screamed “WITCH!!!!” every time I saw a chick dressed up like a witch. 5 years old? “WITCH!!!!” Waitress at the bar? “WITCH!!!!” It killed.
  2. Injecting a man with life ending drugs while he’s strapped to a gurney isn’t self defense. It’s murder. State sanctioning doesn’t change that fact in God’s eyes, IMO. Jesus also said to let “he who is without sin cast the first stone.” My point is that two wrong don’t make a right. Capital punishment might appeal to the public’s thirst for blood, but that doesn’t make it right.
  3. You misunderstood what I said- I’m in favor of incarceration. My point was that murder is specifically forbidden while incarceration is not even mentioned as being sinful.
  4. Which one of the Ten Commandments tells us not to incarcerate a person for their crimes? Which one tells us not to kill?
  5. Ok.... and what would the difference be between: A. Susan Smith strapping her kids in a car and rolling the car into a lake and B. Someone else strapping Susan Smith into a car and rolling the car into a lake? They would both be committing murder the same exact way. You don't want justice, you want vengeance... and the the Lord already claimed that.
  6. Yup... both sides do the same thing. "Abortion stops a beating heart!" So does a lethal injection. Kinda like "If you murder someone, you should be put to death! Now go murder that guy strapped to the table!"
  7. It's called reading comprehension. I against abortion and capital punishment. It's way cheaper to just let a murderer rot in a cell to have them executed just to win the votes of bitter old white dudes who would never have the intestinal fortitude to work in a prison, much less flip the switch on a human.
  8. So “thou shall not kill” applies to helpless unborns, but not to men handcuffed to gurneys decades after whatever crime they committed. Makes sense to me.
  9. Hypocritical is crying that abortion stops a beating heart while demanding the murder of another human being. And vice versa. Me? I'm pro-life... unborn children AND convicted criminals. The part no one wants to recognize is that it cost a lot less money to house/clothe/feed Susan Smith for 40 years that it would cost to fund her appeals of a death sentence. I'm also anti-wasteful spending.
  10. Yep… and we just rejected God in favor of Trump a couple for weeks ago. Last time He sent Covid down on us, killing over a million of us. How’s He gonna feel about y’all re-electing him?
  11. If you want your kid to learn Christianity at school, there’s a “family life center” full of weird kids in plaid jumpers and clip-on ties at some local church in your community, guaranteed. That’s what church schools are for.
  12. My prediction is that the radicals in the house will create another series of battles in the House over picking a speaker anything will get done anyways. Personally? If the Rs let the nut jobs call the shots, the voters will give congress back to the Ds in two short years, then they’ll get right back to investigating Trump. But I also believe that Rs believe their radical agenda has wheels because of the results from 2024, when in fact it was a repudiation of the D’s radical agenda.
  13. Well, Huffman put up a good fight at home against their #3, and BC went to their #2’s house and made a game out of it. Their #4 drove down, kicked the door down, bent LiCk’eM over and EMBARRASSED them in their own living room. I expected nothing more from the Bears.
  14. No matter what happens tonight, Bridge City opted up to face much, much larger schools and ended up finishing third in a district filled with much larger rivals. No other team in setx can claim such an amazing feat. Tonight Pine Tree will face off against a much smaller foe who doesn’t even belong in the same classification, much less the playoffs. Be proud, Cards… you’re playing tonight despite being outgunned all season long.
  15. Bc will make a triumphant return to Longview, the site of many, many big wins in marching band competitions. BC can win this one if the stars line up. Y’all sound like all of those people who predicted Kamala was going to win. BC is Back!
  16. I thought his total vote count was lower this year than his total count in 2020? At least that’s what I read.
  17. I think the honest answer is this. Most Americans don’t care enough about posting their political views online. People on boards like this may be flat wrong (like most of you), but they’re INTERESTED. The average American isn’t interested enough to form opinions, much less vote. Most of y’all forget that we were in a really bad place as a country in the fall of 2020. Joblessness, shortages, masks, stock market crash, etc… people were motivated to get out and make a change. Contrary to what most people believe, America is in a much better place in November of 2024 than it was in November of 2020. You can infer whatever you want from that fact. How did so many minority voters switch over to vote Trump in 2024, but his vote total are LOWER than in 2020? Because people just weren’t motivated enough to vote… that’s all.
  18. Lawfare, to make sure lawfare never happens again?
  19. Rs can try to get their pound of flesh if they want. The voters just demonstrated what they thought about weaponizing the Justice department. They’ve had enough of it, and they’ll PUNISH the Rs in two years if they try to go after Ds. That’s not why we send people to Washington.
