  1. Let’s be honest.. it’s all over but the whining. Trump’s gonna get beaten like the village piñata.
  2. My mom is devoutly religious… and she can’t believe that we’re about to end up with four more years of secular democrat policies. Policies that seem to be almost complete opposed to biblical teaching. She can’t understand why this happening to America. My thought is this… in Exodus, we’re told how the Israelites in Moses’ absence created a golden calf to worship instead of God. They were punished. That’s where I think we are today. Evil isn’t winning, “good” people are being punished for not sticking to their guns, but we’re instead willing to overlook all wrongdoing on the part of Trump. In my mind, anyways.
  3. Exactly. The Ds think Kamala won and the Rs think Don got cheated. The undecideds got a good look at what they’re gonna have to listen to for the next four years. Hope or Hate? Thats an easy choice.
  4. You told us last week that trump was going to easily win the debate… now it’s the ABC moderators that beat him? lol. Y’all were worried about the CNN moderators until Biden showed up semi-conscious, then crickets from the trump fans. I warned you, but you didn’t listen. Trump “won” the first debate because Biden looked like the Cryptkeeper. Trump performed badly there, too, but nobody was punching back. Kamala dotted both his eyes and flattened his lips for him. I wasn’t surprised at all.
  5. I see you’re already in excuse-making mode. pace yourself… you don’t want to run out of excuses before November. “Don’t you worry about me running out of excuses! I’ve got plenty!”
  6. I purposely avoided media/internet after the debate, more wanting to gauge the reactions of people who are interested... other than the Reagan-minded (he cleaned the floor with her!) perspectives, I found a few interesting points. Obviously Kamala voters were claiming a decisive win.. I felt like she won handily. Most reasonable people that I know were giving the nod to Kamala. Most of the "well, you have two choices come November and it's and easy Trump choice for me" posters were eerily quiet. The headlines on Drudge this morning were "Trump Demands ABC Be Shut Down for Daring to Fact Check Debate" because he actually said it this morning on Fox. [Hidden Content] "The Night Trump Lost It All" and "The End" were other headlines with accompanying stories. I can't remember hearing of an election cycle where a candidate basically won the election with the first debate, then lost it with the second.... but that kinda seems like what we're seeing. It was a bad night for Trump, no doubt. I guess the question is "how bad is it going to hurt?"
  7. It’s funny how people see the outcomes so differently… Reagan thinks Trump “exposed” her by saying “she’s the worst vice president EVER.” He’ll be posting tweets later “proving” that Trump is leading 65-35 in the popular vote and predicting a 400 point electoral college victory for Trump. My opinion was that she stood in the pocket and picked him apart… she did better than I expected, and he undoubtedly didn’t gain any new votes. There’s just not a lot positive that can be taken from his performance. He offered more anger, division, and rage-and she offers an alternative. He looked like he couldn’t be bothered to do any prep besides scrolling headlines on Truth Social.
  8. No… I’m talking about how OF refused to participate for seven or so years.
  9. If you want to call it that. No cackling… she’s just straight up grabbing votes.
  10. Can somebody tag Reagan? I’d like to see the tweets he’s unearthed about how Trump is dominating the exchanges.
  11. Jeez… this is embarrassing. Where are the Trump supporters on here? It’s eerily quiet.
  12. He’s imploding… this is ugly. He’s furious and can’t stay on point.
  13. He needs to act like a President and he has a chance at doing okay... or at least not driving anybody else away. If he comes out with the name-calling and identity politics, he's gonna lose. I think it's that simple. I don't necessarily think that he can turn things around with a good debate performance, but he can definitely hurt himself with a bad one. She needs to come off as not completely lost on the subjects and she'll be fine. There's risk for her, too, but I don't think she's got as much to lose as Trump does. The question is.... "Can Trump pretend that he's not Trump for an hour and a half?"
  14. If I do, I’ll let you know. Honestly, if trump wins, I’m gonna claim that I voted for him. I’m always rooting for the overdog.
  15. You’re absolutely right… it’s hard enough to be critical of a female without coming across as a bully. If he veers off into attacking her identity (race/gender) he’s going to be an overall negative for him. If he even calls her a “nasty” person i think he loses the audience.
  16. I agree.... if Trump could somehow manage to keep his cool like he did against Joe Biden a couple of months ago, he might be able change the narrative. His only chance is to be so un-Trump like that her voters don't turn out in November. People keep saying "oh, he's going to crush her in the debate" and I'm over here thinking... maybe he should just try to not be offensive so that people don't turn out to vote against him. He can't win any more voters no matter what he says or does. All he can hope to do is not encourage people to vote against him by not being his typical buffoon self. I was tuned in a couple of months ago because i felt like the potential was there for a huge, election-changing event... and boy, did we get it. I just don't have the same feeling about this one. I expect it to be a non-event, and if it is remarkable, it's going to be for all of the wrong reasons for Trump... as in, "he lost his cool and dropped an n-word" level of crazy.
  17. Wait…. But you keep saying the contest is about two people. The real problem is that you refuse to acknowledge trump’s shortfalls. Call me crazy, but I prefer no race riots, no face masks, and no out-of-control deficit spending. Tax cuts are just welfare for trump voters if it causes our debt increases. How did Dems become the part of fiscal responsibility? Trump’s economic policies, that’s how. An election is a comparison between two candidates… and Harris beats Trump in very way possible. Except the racist vote… trump has that on lockdown.
  18. 1. They restored the economic health of the nation after taking over the trainwreck that Trump left behind. 2. Not a felon. 3. Not a rapist. 4. Never attempted to stop the peaceful transfer of power after losing an election. 5. On second thought, never lost an election to a terrible opponent. 6. Put an end to the immigration crisis. 7. Brought our abandoned troops home from an un-winnable war in Afghanistan. 8. Decreased the deficit spending that Trump likes. 9. And most importantly.... She's not Trump. I could give you fifteen more, but it won't make a difference... I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
  19. We should... but I expect it to be closer than that. K-ville and Buna both rolled over.... OF won't.
  20. It's a rivalry game... you can kinda ignore the stats. You're probably aware that the BC Head Coach was in Orangefield for the last 8 or so years. Most of the Bobcats have been expecting to play for Smalley since they were Bobkittens. I expect a close game, not gonna lie.
