  1. It's also amazing to see the lengths of mental gymnastics one will put themselves through to justify the bad behavior of their Lord and Savior, Donald J. Trump. And that's not funny, it's actually pathetic.
  2. I don't think so... I think that any decent R candidate has a really good shot to beat whoever the Dems put out there EXCEPT for Trump. Desantis doesn't generate the same opposition that Trump does. I think that just about any R except Trump would have beaten Biden in 2020, but I doubt that Biden/Harris would have garnered 70 million votes without Trump on the other side. I also think that Trump losing in the Republican primaries (which I'm not confident anybody can beat Trump in the Republican primaries) would lead to all of the red hats staying home in November and still guaranteeing another democrat win. My opinion is that the day Trump announces his candidacy for 2024 you can book your bets for whoever the D candidate turns out to be. I voted Cruz in the 2016 primary here in Texas.. I held my nose and voted Trump that November. I had a much harder time voting for Trump in 2020 because his behavior was so repulsive-and that's coming for a guy who has never voted Democrat. But that sums up the entire Trump problem in a nutshell... if the guy can't even inspire people who SHOULD be voting for him to do so, what do you think is happening with the undecideds? You know, the only people whose vote really counts?
  3. If Democrats winning presidential elections is what is best for the country, keep supporting Trump.
  4. Did you miss what I said... It's politics 101. Your plans and your record don't mean squat if you can't get elected. Pointing at his record and ignoring his behavior is just typical Trump supporter fodder. It's what y'all keep doing over and over. He needed to make it easy for people to vote for him and hard for people to vote for Biden. He convinced 81 million people (a record, btw) to go out and vote for the other guy. But then again, y'all were so excited to have a guy with zero political experience. You can't be upset that he went out there and fumbled away the presidency like a person with zero political experience.
  5. Go back and watch that first debate. He went out of his way to be a complete and total jerk with the entire lot of undecideds looking on. That wasn't the media making it seem like he was a two year old... it was Trump himself acting like a two year old. He didn't win a single vote with that performance and I'd be willing to bet that he forever lost a TON of people whose minds weren't made up. Now, that doesn't matter to the diehard Trump guys because he can do no wrong in their eyes... but that whole sordid performance was just another example of Trump throwing up a big double middle finger to anybody who wasn't wearing a red hat and it cost him (and us) dearly.
  6. The media is the media... Trump got elected without them. Heck, he got elected in spite of them. My problem is that Trump kept playing to his base...and that's nowhere the majority that he'd need to win. He made it impossible for anybody on the left to vote for him and any undecideds/moderates in the middle would have to swallow a whole lot of moral objections to even vote for the guy. Long story short is that Trump's supporters, like he said, would still love him even if he shot somebody walking down the street in broad daylight. People like me (socially and fiscally conservative, but NOT a die-hard Trump guy) had a really hard time supporting him. People in the middle broke left just to be done with him, and nobody on the left even considered breaking right even though their ticket was horrible. And it all comes down to pure personality. The same thing that all of his clingers here adore is the same thing that turned off so many others. Instead of recognizing "I've got all of those MAGA hat wearing mouth-breathers on SETXSports in the bag, I should really focus on drawing in the undecideds and maybe even picking off some lefties" Trump just kept throwing Molotov cocktails so that his diehard supporters would cheer for him. It was dumb, it cost him the election, and it really put a good screwing on all of us. It doesn't matter how good of a job a man does as a president... he was too stupid to recognize that he needed to focus on people NOT wearing red hats, But he, like most of y'all, fail to recognize that his supporters are still a minority.
  7. I only use the 81 million figure because so many cite that number as “proof” that the election was stolen- “there’s no way that Biden got 81 million votes… that’s more than George Washington got. It had to be cheating!”
  8. Joe Manchin is the Democrat Rand Paul.
  9. Just seeing this topic. Trump vs. Biden today? I'd still vote Trump as I believe that he's the least undesirable of the two.... He still sucks, though. Unfortunately, Biden won't be on the ticket in 2024 and those 81 million "no votes" are still gonna vote for whoever is running against Trump. Nobody has "learned their lesson." Not even Trump.
  10. It's a polarizing issue, and I'd bet the underinformed pro life voters just heard "oh, Roe V. Wade was overturned" and assumed that there wasn't anything to vote about. But I also like the fact that (thanks to that crybaby Donald Trump), anytime an election yields an unfavorable result, the underinformed voters will yell "it was cheating, just like when my daddy lost in 2020." Facts don't lie... there was no widespread election fraud in 2020.
  11. I don't think that I would have given special consideration for her employer in this case, either. If he set out to do her in because she was a cop, of course. But this wasn't intentional and I don't feel like her employment status (because thats the only difference between her and some other civilian that he might have hit) should make a difference. Kinda like I don't feel like a person of this shade should receive a more harsh punishment for killing a person of that shade, simply because they aren't the same. If the murder occurred specifically because of their race, then ok.... but not just a general "white on white? 10 years. White on black? Hate crime, 40 years." Especially when the prosecutions are specifically targeted one way, not the other, even though the "victims" kill many, many more of the "oppressors." But y'all ain't ready for that conversation.
  12. Ok.... I get your point. We should all celebrate because the guy who got impeached twice and lost to an imbecile is going to run again, guaranteeing a democrat win in 2024. Everybody who hated him still hates him. And if you're dumb enough to believe that he lost because "tHe dEmoCrATs CHEATED!!!!", what makes you think it's not going to happen again? #anybodybuttrumphasachance
  13. Lol… you’re missing the key point. Nobody HATED Mitt Romney. You keep pointing at easily explained statistical “anomalies” (which really aren’t anomalies) as “proof” of cheating while ignoring the obvious fact about what happened. Trump’s childish behavior motivated millions of people to vote for ANYBODY BUT TRUMP. What’s crazy is that it’s the same thing thing that in 2016 when Hillary was the more unlikable candidate. We’ve never had a more widely hated president up for re-election than we had in 2020. That explains it all, and if you’d raise your head up out of trump’s lap to take a breath or two you’d realize it.
  14. Zero proof of widespread election fraud. I’ll bet you still leave out cookies for Santa, too.
  15. A politician needs to do two things to get elected…. Make it easy to vote for you and make it hard to vote for the other guy. Trump failed miserably on both counts. He might as well have offered cash to people if they’d just vote Biden. Does anybody remember the last time that a candidate won a major party nomination for President after losing squandering the party’s nomination on a previous cycle? As a general rule, the parties give a nominee a chance, and if he/she wastes it (like Trump in 2020), they don’t get another chance. Tricky Dicky Nixon was the last one. And he was a Republican that resigned after getting caught trying to cheat during an election, lol.
  16. In two years, we’ll be in the home stretch of a Presidential election cycle and Donald Trump will be 79…. The same age that Joe Biden is today. Young people aren’t going to vote for another geriatric. Every day a bunch of old conservatives die and a bunch of young people turn 18 and gain the right to vote. NONE of those kids are going to vote for Donald Trump. Despite his band of delusional followers (like the ones that cried “b-b-but… they must have CHEATED!!! No way Biden gets 81 million votes” after the last time he got smoked down), one fact remains. Trump CANNOT win in 2024, either.
  17. You’re exactly right… another Dem would be a terrible idea. That’s why we need to nominate a candidate who can actually beat the Democrat nominee. Not the one who inspired 81 million people to vote against him in 2020.
  18. Let’s see… the masses didn’t care about trump’s performance… they hated him so they elected Biden. The economy tanking hasn’t changed those peoples’ hatred of Trump. They haven’t “learned a lesson.” They’re just gonna vote for whoever is running against Trump… it doesn’t even matter who it is… as long as it’s not Trump. It’s not rocket science. It’s simple. The only thing that is keeping y’all from recognizing it is that you can’t understand why anyone would vote against trump unless they have some sort of mental deficiency… when in fact it’s just a popularity contest and you’re backing a guy who goes out of his way to be unlikable. Who’s gonna be the next President? Anybody but Trump has a chance.
  19. I'll repeat again... If Trump runs for President, he will be soundly beaten by the Dem candidate again.
  20. The problem is that most of the time people who are in charge of quality control at the street pharmacy are high at work.
  21. I was on a jury in Orange County a while back and the defendant pleaded guilty, but wanted a jury to sentence him. He really felt like a jury was more likely to be sympathetic than a Judge. You know, "Yes, I shot her, but she really had it coming." It didn't work. And I don't expect it to work for this kid, either.
  22. For "0-1" after week one?
  23. I had that conversation with somebody a while back. If you take kid who has never picked up a weapon, but HAS spent hours and hours and hours playing first person shooters, you'd better believe that he/she is going to have some sense of tactics... how to hide, creep, fire from cover, etc... He's not going to be SEAL, but you'd better believe he could almost instinctively cause a lot of problems. About 15 years ago one of my friends invited me to so shoot at the Orange Gun Club with him... at that time I didn't even own a decent pistola. He gave me a few pointers and turned me loose with one of his .45s. He was impressed with my first grouping and I explained that we shot literally 1000s of rounds with pistols and rifles growing up. The mechanics aren't something that you forget. I like to think that I could maintain a calm focus if I was involved in an actual shooting, but that's just something you don't know until it occurs in real life. As much as I can't stand the people involved, I really believe that there's something to be said for practicing tactically when/where you can.
  24. Did someone draw a giant penis on their field again?
  25. I don't agree with "abolished," but burned to the ground and replaced with an efficient org that wasn't entirely focused on indoctrinating the youth with lib ideologies would be a good start. You know, and organization that was focused on making sure that the kids all learn to read, write, and perform basic math skills instead of teaching them that we're all inherently racist and gender is a societal construct.
