Buna ISD Responds to Racist Photo of Blackfaced Student
CardinalBacker replied to BMTSoulja1's topic in Local Headlines
If you’re offended by somebody dressing up like a wholesome character…. You’re a racist. Plain and simple. There is no doubt that the person complaining is the only racist in this story. The fact that all of us are now like “oh, pardon my flag… I’ll go hide it so that you won’t be angry anymore” is a joke. I guarantee that Tyler Perry isn’t offended by all of those whiteys buying his dvds. -

It's the same old tired argument... ""The Eyes of Texas" hurts my feelings because it may or may not have been sung in blackface 200 years ago. Y'all are a bunch of racists!!!" And seriously... if you have a problem with a word, but only when spoken by people of a certain shade.... guess what? YOU'RE the racist! -

[Hidden Content] Here's the problem in a nutshell... some white kid shared (not created) a blatantly racist tweet, then a gang of black kids beat the hell out of him, and the black parents don't understand why their kids are in trouble. The level of ignorance is just astounding... and it's another reason why that particular community can't get out of the past. It's obvious that "sticks and stones" isn't a foundation for dealing with conflicts in that community. -

The fact that we're still having this conversation when "White Chicks" can be purchased, rented, or streamed is a bad joke. The idea that "I can do it, but you can't" in regards to costumes, words, etc, is possibly the dumbest thought pattern that has been in place since actual racism was an issue. -
P.a. Isd requiring mask and the Bible in public schools
CardinalBacker replied to 5GallonBucket's topic in Local Headlines
The mask mandates in PAISD, BISD, and WOS are comparable to the Kountze ISD issue with the cheerleaders putting scriptures on banners that the football team ran through. They're forced to make a decision that is guaranteed to infuriate a large portion of the population... no matter which decision is made. If you believe that Kountze ISD had the right to allow scriptures on banners in direct opposition to established law, then you also have to believe that PAISD/BISD has the right to enforce a mask mandate. My opinion? The masks are probably a good idea for kids who really can't socially distance in a learning environment, but particularly when infections are on the increase. They should probably be easing their restrictions now based on the decrease in cases. I also find it remarkable that, once again, you can point out demographics and likely political views as the main reason for the mandates. -

I'd be hopping mad if I made it over without a problem and was busy tying rebar and somehow got wind of the $450k that everybody else got for getting caught. -
..... thing that I've ever read. [Hidden Content] Our government is preparing to give $450,000 to each person "affected" by being apprehended and separated from their family at our border. Those, my friends, are some very expensive votes you and I are purchasing. God help us all.

I thought the same thing. I think TVC's opinion is interesting because it seems to me that the last thing you'd want to do is hang a kid with assault charges for a schoolhouse fight. When I was in school, a fight in PE or Athletics meant a quick trip to the coach's office and I'm certain that paperwork was never even sent in to the principals office. You just got lit up and put back in line. I've got the opinion that the heavy-handed approach leads to situations where good kids can't defend themselves for fear of prosecution... which means that the kids who aren't afraid of prosecution can pretty much do whatever they want. I can't count the times that we saw a bully get taken down a peg or two, either by a victim or a samaritan. Kids today just can't do that, and the end result is that the bad kids have a whole campus full of victims at their disposal. But like I said.. it's been a while since I was in school.

[Hidden Content] yeah…. Trump had the border under control. What amazes me is that y’all honestly believe all of the lies.
-
I remember when "Mad Dog" Mattis was the best thing since pockets on a shirt.... and then he turned out to be the biggest POS ever (just like everybody else who dared to criticize Trump).
-
I support my team even when the coach is a clown. But pretending that he's a Hall of Fame Coach when he's 0-32 like Trump is just insane.
-
Right... Trump is right and everybody else is wrong. Nominate Trump (or somebody like him) and you'll have another Democrat President in 2024. He's literally the worst president we've ever had and y'all are all still here singing his praises. 1. Race relations worsened under his watch 2. He destroyed the strongest economy in our lifetime 3. Deficits/Debt exploded on his watch because of tax cuts without corresponding cuts in spending 4. We lost both houses of Congress under his leadership 5. He had to take a pregnancy test after what senile Joe Biden did to him in the election 6. He started an insurrection in a failed attempt to retain his power. He was trash, and anybody that's still singing his praises is trash, too.
-
"They do it, too" is your defense? I thought we were better than them? There's nothing wrong with standing up for yourself and punching back. But that's not what Trump was doing. Going after Megyn Kelly because she has a menstrual period? How is that punching back? It's not, it's just alienating a lot of undecided voters who also get periods. If Trump is so awesome, wouldn't he be smart enough to get all of those ignorant moderates to vote for him instead of Biden? Apparently not.
-
This is all that I've been saying since the election. The clown act was the problem... not the people who voted against four more years of the clown act.

He's in an echo chamber... he has supporters that clap like seals no matter what he says or does. It doesn't matter if Trump liked John McCain or not... the guy was a legit hero and was beloved in his home state of Arizona. Is it a surprise that Arizonans voted for the guy that DIDN'T take posthumous dump on McCain? Apparently that outcome came as a complete shock to Trump and his loyalists across the country. This is my firm belief. Trump didn't win a single vote with his childish behavior in the first debate. No reasonable person watched that mess and thought... you know, that guy throws a good fit. I'm voting for him. But I can guarantee that Trump's behavior earned Joe Biden a lot of votes. You can't blame that on the media... trump did it to himself.

Debunk what you see at 1:36.
-
I didn't see the part where they were bashing in windows, crushing police officers in doors, and bonking people with fire extinguishers. If you're still defending anybody's actions on 1/6, you're a part of the problem and also the reason that trump got his cheeks clapped by a senile old man.

PAPD investigating the death of 26 year old Woman.
CardinalBacker replied to BMTSoulja1's topic in Local Headlines
I always scoff at these stories. Have you ever tried to open your car door as you were driving down the road? It's hard. Now imagine trying to maintain control of your car as you reach across the vehicle, over a person who is likely resisting, then somehow having the superhuman strength to hold the passenger door open with one arm while shoving a full grown human out the door with your second arm and using your third arm to steer the car. This scenario only applies if the driver is being accused. A passenger in the middle would have a lot easier time shoving the outside seated passenger out of a vehicle, but only if they're going slowly enough that the wind won't keep the door closed. -
Fair enough.... why do black people always vote Democrat? Because they believe that those politicians will act in the black community's best interest. But more specifically, because Democrat politicians actually say things that appeal to the black community. Same thing with Conservatives/Trump. Build the wall. Send them back. Welfare Queens. Thugs. Abortion is murder (even though I've personally paid for eight). It's right here in Corinthians One (Pointing to upside down bible). I'm not saying the guy is a hardcore racist.... but he goes out of his way to say things that appeal to the actual racists. Don't even get me started on the way he talks to/about women. Did he think he was gonna get by without any female votes. Any female that voted for Trump has a husband that beats her. Guaranteed.
-
I can’t name on both hands the number of people that I know who knowingly voted against their own personal interests to vote against Trump. Moderately wealthy women who just couldn’t stand the guy, for instance. You know how everybody shows pics of their grand babies believing that their grandkid is the cutest thing in the entire world… and the rest of us who are sentimentally attached to the little guy are like “poor kid?” That’s Trump supporters who can’t objectively look at Trump’s behavior as the reason he’s not the President. Shame on good people who tolerated abhorrent behavior because his politics suited their own. If good people had held him responsible when he said stupid crap, then he might have toned down his “bleeding from wherever” remarks about women. Trump’s mouth (not the media, not tender footed moderates, or cheating that didn’t occur) is the big reason that he got taken to the woodshed last fall.
-
The thing is…. About half of that stuff is true about Trump. Why do white supremacists almost universally support Trump? It’s not because of his economic policies. When he said reprehensible things, his supporters called anybody who disagree “sensitive” or “weak” when in fact Trump was literally driving people to the polls to vote against him. Joe Biden didn’t get 81 million votes. He got about 70 and the other 11 were voting against for more years of Trump and his blindly loyal supporters. Those people aren’t Patriots. They aren’t conservatives. They’re not even Christian if they don’t condemn his unchristian behaviors. They’re just loyal to Trump.

He was right… I’m not black.
