  1. That video I posted was just a condensed version of the things that he was telling people that morning. Trump didn't have to be standing there going "punch that cop! Now kick that one! Break that window! Now hit that one with your fire extinguisher!" Although I'm pretty sure that you still wouldn't have a problem with that, either. You can look at the things Rudolph said that morning "give them trial by combat" or the things Jr said. They all three worked together, not unlike a coach's pregame speech and the end result was the insurrection that occurred that morning. You don't have to agree. It's the truth.
  2. I've been saying for weeks that this was going to happen if Trump kept alleging that the election was stolen without any evidence. It's completely predictable. But to be specific, when Trump held a rally on the morning on 1/6/2021 (as congress was counting electoral votes) and told his supporters to march on Congress and (pick any one of about fifty different inflammatory remarks that he made that morning), and then the crowd actually DOES walk down the street and do x,y, and z...... that's how you get charged with inciting an insurrection or whatever. Watch the following clip and try to determine if it would sound like incitement to a reasonable person, especially in light of what actually happened.
  3. Ummmm.... the riot itself. Or do your news sources deny that anything happened in Washington last week?
  4. There's more to life than the Dow, my friend. Maybe you're satisfied with all that has transpired BESIDES the economy (highest deficits ever, runaway spending, the loss of Republican representation in all branches of congress and the executive branch), but I'm not. I know that you're trying really hard to paint me into a Bill Clinton box, but that's not what I said. I would prefer a president who was capable of working with Congress... both sides. Not like during the last eight years. Washington exists so that our representatives can iron out our differences. All that we've seen for years is complete gridlock, with neither side able to advance any agenda unless they are in total control. I saw a friend post on Babin's fb page a couple of years ago... "now go up there and don't back down! Don't give an inch!" Really? So how is that supposed to work? Once a side is in complete control, they can just bludgeon the other guys until they lose a chamber, then it's 100% obstruction until somebody once again gains all of the marbles, at which time the ruling party can cram whatever they want down the other sides' throats? Imagine a marriage where neither side would give an inch. Imagine a business partnership where neither partner would bend any, ever. What would happen? Divorce, bankruptcy... utter failure. But that's the American way of legislating for the last decade and a half. Any capitulation is a sign of weakness, and the supporters of that legislator is hung out to dry. It's what has gotten us to where we are... getting closer to a civil war... and Donald Trump only sped that process up. BTW... We all did pretty well financially during Clinton's EIGHT years in office, if my memory serves me correctly. And since that's all that matters about Trump's presidency (prosperity), then I guess you need to ease up Clinton, too.
  5. Not big enough to win an election, apparently.
  6. And then I agreed with you. There's a huge difference between saying "get out there and ruin somebody's dinner" and encouraging people to walk down the street and attack the Capitol building in an effort to usurp our election process. Besides that, you have no real EVIDENCE that her talk would have or did lead to anybody's actions, much less if those actions would be legal or not. BTW, it's not illegal to interrupt someone's dinner or hassle them on the sidewalk. It IS illegal to murder a police officer like Trump's supporters did.
  7. I hate to use the word "cult" but they are definitely removed from reality. Just last week I saw them beat a Capitol Police Officer to death with a fire extinguisher because the President directed them to bumrush Congress and overturn the results of our Presidential election. "But it was a perfect speech" the soon-to-be ex-President said yesterday. "YES!!!! PERFECT!!!!!" they all yelled in unison. "Stop the Steal!" "You won bigly, Sir!" they all yelled as one. "It's all fake news!" they responded as state after state was declared for Biden. "Everybody knows we won by hundreds of thousands of votes" Trump cried to the Republican Secretary of State in Georgia. "Just find me 11, 780 votes... are you going to help me?" Trump begged. "He's a TRAITOR!!!!" Trump's minions all yelled. "He was purchased by China! CHI-NA!!!!" they all exclaimed, with bare faces in displayed in protest of tyranny and nature, too. Yeah... I'm gonna go with cult.
  8. Great. I agree. But there WAS at least one source that was favorable to the right. Guess what? Trump crapped all over them, too, and now his loyalists are boycotting them, too, because he said to. Mark that down as another Trump failure. He managed to do what Dems couldn’t do in 25 years. He sunk Fox News, thereby eliminating the only professional source for news coverage that wasn’t geared towards liberals. Now y’all are all on Parler trying to find articles like Reagan does. You know, the unsubstantiated rumors that he thrives on. “There were bus loads of Antifas! They brought truckloads of ballots from NY to PA! The guy in the Buffalo hat is married to Pelosi’s daughter!” You know that you’ve seen ‘em.
  9. That’s what you guys have never understood... Trump BEGGED for negative coverage every chance he got! Whether it was by being a jerk or outright nasty to the media, up to and including his “friends” at Fox News. You can’t base your whole campaign and presidency on crapping all over the media, then cry like a little girl with a skinned knee when they don’t paint a pretty picture of you. Jesus. It’s not hard to figure out. The path Trump chose to get to the presidency was by being the outsider, the guy that Washington and the media hated. Now both trump and his followers are crying because nobody in Washington will pretend he won and the media is out to get him are the reasons that he lost. No, it was a horrible strategy and it backfired. The sad thing is that some low informed voters still think that he’s awesome. The whole episode has been a disaster.
  10. Correction. It’s a whole lot easier to prove if the riot happens. Which it did on Wednesday..... and it was worse than a riot. They tried to forcibly stop our election process by storming the chambers of congress while in session. Trump took office four years ago with control of the House and Senate, and less than four years later he sits facing a certain second impeachment this morning and a probable conviction in the Senate this time, having lost both chambers and the presidency in that short time. I know that y’all all still think he was the best president ever (because you keep repeating it as if it will somehow become true... kinda like baseless allegations of election fraud), but that’s an abject failure for himself and the party by any sane person.
  11. For the same reason that a democratic socialist like Bernie Sanders can still pull down the same poll numbers... some people have extreme views. There’s no difference between a Bernie Bro and a Trump supporter. They both live in an imaginary world where reality is altered. Bernie’s guys think that you can seize 100% of profits from corporations and seize the wealth anybody who has more than the least of us and it’ll all work out peachy. Trumps loyalists believe he can poop all over people and still win every election bigly. You know... just because he’s rude and crude just means that you are a snowflake if you don’t vote for him. Logic like that. Both are delusional. I forgot my favorite Trumper claim!!! Just look at Joe Biden! He’s senile! The fact that he won is proof that there was cheating!!!!l” I’ve read that one over and over here.
  12. The riot has to actually happen.
  13. So let me get this straight. If you are conservative, then left is out to get you, and if you don’t support the rantings of a lunatic, his supporters will boycott you, too.... talk about a rock and hard place, huh? That sums up the reason that Trump was ineffective and eventually lost. The Dems don’t turn on each other, the republicans do. Whether it’s Rand Paul and his buddies deep-sixing the repeal of Obamacare or Trump and his followers savaging everyone who wouldn’t annoint Trump as president in spite of the vote tallies. I’ll bet that I’m more conservative than most of you, but I’m labeled all kinds of inaccurate things because I won’t pretend that Trump got screwed like the rest of you like to do. I’ll guarantee that a lot of Trumps “70 million voters” are just like me... not too sad to see him gone. That’s why the poll I posted earlier had him at 33% approval and 60% disapproval. People are just tired of his mess.
  14. I saw today where two of the banks he does business with say that they’re cutting ties. All it would take is a credit card company or two to cut him off and he’s toast. I can’t imagine most major corps using his hotels for anything anymore. The pga pulled a tournament from one of his clubs next year, too. He really boofed himself in the last couple of weeks.
  15. He’s going to lose everything. His businesses will be cut off at the knees by creditors and at the rate he’s going the state of New York will have him in prison. i do not envy him.
  16. Trump was like that kid you went to school with... kind of a class clown. You kinda wanted to be around him, but you didn’t want him to single you out because he’d probably tag you with a nickname you couldn’t get rid of. But he was also the guy that eventually got EVERYBODY extra homework because his BS just got old. You know the guy.
  17. I don't have a problem with calling each other names. But we should direct our insults at one another. It's just not right to call out an entire group of people Dims, Libtards, Trumpkins, or whatever, just because they vote or believe differently isn't right. But by all means... fire away. I've got thick skin.
  18. Well! I, for one, have never....
  19. I thought all of the polls were rigged, too? Lol.
  20. [Hidden Content] I guess it all depends on whose paying for the poll, huh? These guys have him at 33% approval.
  21. No, he was bad candidate from the start. The very first time we saw him on the debate stage he went after Rosie O'Donnell and Megyn Kelly in what was just a small glimpse into how he treated everybody... up to and including Mike Pence last Wednesday. Trump is a rotten person. And maybe that's the kind of person you look up to and aspire to be... who knows? I think "flakey" would better describe people who claim to Christian yet vote for someone who exhibits none of Christ's attributes, even going as far as claiming that he's God's chosen one to lead us. THAT is ironic. I didn't like him before, I didn't like him as president, and I don't like him today. I voted against him in the 2016 primary and would have voted against him if anybody was willing to break tradition and run against him in this cycle. I think that YOU are the one with flexible morals. "I would never behave like that myself, but I'm not going to hold Trump accountable because he's so great on the economy." Well, guess what? Now we're all screwed because most people weren't so willing to entertain his childishness. If Republicans don't recognize that repugnant behavior leads directly to lost elections, they'll just find some other jerk who has no business in politics to be our next candidate. And we'll get smoked down again. I don't have a problem with people voting for Trump. I did twice. My problem is with people who refuse to accept that the behavior that YOU overlook is what led to his eventual defeat, and his behavior since the election is just proof positive that the man lacks character and is a bigger threat to our democracy than anyone else in history because he can't recognize the fact that he was beaten. Probably because he, like you, believe that his fecal matter has no odor.
  22. Literally... an election is like a beauty contest. And you guys are upset that the contestant who gained 40 pounds, shaved her head, refused to wear makeup and whose talent was playing a song by armpit-farting somehow didn't win. She must have been cheated.
  23. My frustration is not with Trump's accomplishments... It's based on the fact that he let his behavior overshadow his accomplishments with the masses. When somebody as conservative as myself has to grit their teeth while voting for the Republican nominee, you know that the candidate is flawed. A candidate has two jobs.... make it hard to vote for the other guy, and easy to vote for you. Trump did "ok" in the first part, but was a miserable failure in the second. Do you think anybody who voted against Trump has second-guessed their vote since election day? Nope. Do you think anybody who voted FOR Trump has second-guessed their vote since election day? You'd better believe it. And it's just typical of the way things went for him since day one. He would do crappy things and his adoring fans would just lap it up... while anybody NOT enamored by the reality tv star just plotted an waited for November of 2020. And now here we are.
  24. Yep.... only problem is that less than half of Americans like it. If you could ever get it into your pea brain that being unlikable does not lead to success in a industry where people vote on your likability, you might get somewhere. And that's why he's gonna be out on his you-know-what a week from tomorrow. There's nothing about Biden's policies that I like. That's why I didn't vote for him. Very few people voted for Biden. They voted against Trump, and with good reason.
  25. If Trump knew how to act, we wouldn't be facing these problems. That's a fact. I've said it over and over again. Trump is a failure because of his actions, and the people that excuse his actions with "awwww, you don't like the big meanie" are also a huge part of the reason that we're all in this giant poop-storm together now. If you are like Trump and think that the whole world crashed down around his ears because of everybody else, there's no hope for you. He did it to himself. It's kinda funny how everybody else voted against Trump because of their emotions, but you have undying loyalty for the guy that singlehandedly brought our nation to its knees.... That's pretty emotional, in my opinion, Lol. Heck, most of y'all still believe that he actually won.....that's some straight up flat earth belief system right there... Even Bill Clinton didn't get impeached twice... and he had eight years, lol.
