  1. Me. Who do you think took ol’ boy’s picture with his feet up on Pelosi’s desk?
  2. There’s always some, and I believe that there’s more from the left than from the right. But I don’t believe that it was adequate to change the outcome of the election. But I do think that they should restrict mail in balloting. That would eliminate a lot of possibilities for fraud. Also, I think that a lot of people who typically wouldn’t have voted ended up voting because the ballot just showed up in their mailbox. Those that are least inclined to vote are often the least knowledgeable about the candidates and will pick the one that appeals to them... and people were tired of trump. I think a lot of Americans are just sick of the fighting.... and that’s kind of been Trump’s thing. If the Democrats make being nasty their biggest priority, the masses won’t leave them in power for long.
  3. I highly doubt it. Most republicans that didn’t care for trump still voted for him. Most realized that he was a better alternative than Biden, regardless of their dislike for him. My problem with the whole thing is that every single allegation was either debunked or there was no proof that it occurred. People were making up stories left and right... not only were trump supporters taking the bait, but trump himself kept buying into the theories and spreading them as well. The guy in the Buffalo hat? He had to go on social media and say “no, it was me! I was there. I’m not Antifa” because so many people were spreading lies about him. It’s been like that since election night. The whole situation has been bizarre. There is no way for the VP to “throw out” electoral votes. His job is to count them, period. Trump and his followers believed that he not only had the power to do so, but brand him a traitor for NOT doing so. Did the founding fathers really craft an electoral college system wherein the VP of the current administration has the power to choose who the next president will be? Of course not. But Trump himself believed otherwise and had his followers believing the same thing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen Pence labeled a traitor on my fb feed. It’s insane.
  4. I just covered every point that you asked, I’m pretty sure. NOTHING COMPARES TO TRUMP ORDERING HIS BROWNSHIRTS TO GO ATTACK OUR CONGRESS. It doesn’t matter how hard you try to excuse his seditious actions, you cannot. No matter how hard you try to excuse the behavior of those people who tried to overthrow our government, you cannot. How hard is that to understand? Besieging Congress on behalf of a failed candidate in order to halt the process of certifying an election that he lost in no way compares to hassling somebody who’s enjoying dinner in a restaurant. Period.
  5. Once again, I’m not like you... I don’t get pulled over for speeding and then whine... “b-b-but.... everybody else was speeding, too! Are they gonna get a ticket?” I’m a man. I’m guessing you were raised by a single mom. Who else has held a rally and encouraged their supporters (no wait... said “I’ll be right beside you” and then meowed out) to go breach the Capitol and obstruct congress who is in the act of certifying an election which they’d already lost? I’ll give you a hint... nobody, ever. You can stop trying to find comparable situations. You don’t get to yell “fire” in a theatre and then say “I didn’t tell anybody to trample anybody!” I know that concept is lost on you.
  6. Here’s the problem with all of that. The republicans were okay with the rules (even set up the rules in some cases like PA). It wasn’t a problem until after the votes were counted and they lost. These things weren’t happening on a Dem only basis. The areas in which these things allegedly happened were populated and in some cases governed by Repubs. This may come as a shock to you, but most Dems are decent people who won’t stand for cheating, either, regardless of which party is doing it.
  7. You’re undying loyalty to Trump’s nuts has clouded your judgment. I think it’s hilarious that the left thinks Ted Cruz and the like should resign, but Maxine Watters, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Obama himself voiced the same objections to certification over the last few years. Watters was also wrong when she encouraged people to hassle others with different political views. HOWEVER, nothing she did compares to organizing a rally that will conclude with a March to the Capitol to either intimidate lawmakers or even outright halt the Peoples Business by forcefully stopping the constitutional process of electing a new president...which is exactly what happened. Trump has tried to destroy the peaceful transfer of power that has been a hallmark of our great republic. I haven’t forgotten the “nah-nah-nah... good-bye” chants to George Bush in 2008. Nor have I forgotten the riots that occurred after the 2016 inauguration. The Democrats have worked hard to cheapen that transfer and some would rightly argue that THEY set this all in motion with their behavior in past years. No one will argue that, although they might not have besieged our capitol, the rioting would have been much worse had Trump actually been re-elected. But what you won’t hear me say, and you should not say, either, is “they did it first” or “b-b-but... they did it, too!” All that matters is they right wingers did it this time. Period. There’s no excusing that behavior. Shame on you for being such a small person.
  8. I wasn’t even kidding earlier. I know of a Lumberton kid whose dad played defensive end at U of H. He’s in high school now... big frame, athletic, rolls jiu jitsu... younger sister plays select soccer. Kid is all about marching band. It blows my mind.
  9. I think that there are ample reasons to explore impeachment for the phone call last Saturday and inciting an attack on our democracy Wednesday. But since the point of an impeachment is to remove a president from office and Trump is 11.5 days from being gone anyways, talk of impeachment now has nothing to do with anything other than twisting a knife, so to speak. But that was the point of the first one, too. I have a bad feeling that the Ds are about to go off of the deep end instead of moving forward. Twitter is purging everybody who is right wing as we speak.
  10. Yeah, I'd vote Cruz. I did in the primary in '16 over Trump.
  11. I don't think I'd go that far, but I would honestly just not vote for anybody in the Presidential race if I had a chance to do it all over. I'll bet that Trump would lose by an even greater margin if the race were to actually be re-done at this point. He was literally asking the courts in Pennsylvania to throw out ALL mail-in ballots. Those are our service people, our invalid, or people who otherwise would have voted mail-in. Jesus. The really impressive thing is that their REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED state legislature is who set the mail-in ballot fiasco in motion, but then Republicans filed a suit to reject all mail-in ballots collected under their own rules AFTER the votes had all been counted!!!!! Think about that. [Hidden Content]
  12. First off, by continuing to push the lies about the election being stolen (Because without proof, and allegation is just as good as a lie) even after court after court and investigation after investigation concluded that THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF WIDESPREAD FRAUD, Trump continued to force the issue based on nothing but unsubstantiated, regurgitated claims with no evidence, until this happened. If you keep telling people that the election is stolen you'd better have more proof than facebook posts made by your own supporters. Period. If somebody screams "the election was stolen" long enough, their supporters will believe it. Don't believe me? If you keep yelling "institutional racism and white privilege are the biggest problems facing black people today" they'll believe those lies, too. But for your PROOF I'll give you Rudolf Guiliani saying that those attendance say that they should go down there and have "TRIAL BY COMBAT." [Hidden Content] or, you can have Donald Trump, Jr. saying "we're coming for you, and we're going to have a good time doing it" [Hidden Content] As far as Trump himself goes, there are just too many inflammatory speeches to even list. Whether we're talking about punching Dems in the audience, repeatedly trying to convince people (you, successfully) that boat parade=gonna win, and anything else means that the election was stolen. He's literally that kid that would knock the monopoly game over and cry "you cheated!' because he didn't win. Today's kids would throw their controller and cry... possibly at the tv set. Here's a basic rundown. Not a liberal source, either. [Hidden Content] The only people NOT condemning Trump at this point for inciting that violence are his staunchest supporters. Like yourself. And if your best argument is "well, they did it first," then you aren't much of a man, either.
  13. Here’s a fact... my kid was five or so when I told him there wasn’t a Santa Claus. I showed him receipts and everything. I bought that crap, and I’m taking credit. He found out about the tooth fairy because I forgot to put the two bucks under his pillow and he woke up crying. I had to explain that I was, in fact, the tooth fairy and I’d made a mistake. I guess I didn’t have to spend the next few weeks talking about myself in third person as the tooth fairy. “Do you want the Tooth Fairy to make you a sandwich?”
  14. You’re delusional. The Tea Party refused to entertain any legislation that included any additional taxes. Then they refused to budge even when the government was forced to shut down. Does that sound like negotiation or compromise? That same attitude is why Rand Paul (tea party holdover) sunk the repeal of Obamacare in 2012. “We were sent here to do one thing! There will be no compromise!” As a result, they accomplished absolutely nothing in regards to spending or our debt. That’s being right wing to the point of stupidity. There’s a huge difference between being a “snowflake” and realizing that actions have consequences.... if you make an enemy out of everybody except your blind followers, you won’t be in power long. See how it worked out for your boy Trump, lol. I appreciate those three conservative SCJs, and I’m proud that they showed wisdom and restraint that has not been shown by most of Trump’s supporters. In fact Trump was lashing out at them... just like he lashed out at all of his other supporters that refused to buy into his lies as you have. The bottom line is this... all of those things that you worry about happening would not be in jeopardy if your Lord and Savior Donald J Trump hadn’t been such a jerk. He’d be getting ready to be sworn in a second time. But just like Wednesday, he’s never known when to shut up, and that’s not a good thing, despite what you and the rest of his minions believe. When Guiliani, Trump jr, and then Trump himself all got up and encouraged the masses to go up the street and attack the Capitol, it was unique. It’s unlike anything else we’ve seen before. The fact that you don’t recognize that fact is insane. It was so bad that everybody forgot about the phone call on Saturday they could have probably gotten him impeached and convicted by itself of there was enough time left. This has without a doubt been the worst election cycle by a soundly beaten president and his blindly loyal fanbase, ever. No question. Y’all all thought Hillary was a sore loser for not conceding the night of the election, and here you are ransacking the Capitol in what has to be views as a nine-week temper tantrum.
  15. Soccer? Really? That’s what you're gonna come back with? I’ll bet YOU didn’t know that our cross country team won state one time, did you? So there! Stop playing around.... or our one-act-play team will act y’all right off of the stage.
  16. Say what you want, but I don’t believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, or that anybody stole this election. I’m sorry that some people can’t face reality.
  17. If you can point me to a single instance where Bernie ever even vaguely encouraged violence (not just at that softball practice) I’ll be shocked. You can’t find one, I promise. I absolutely oppose Bernie’s views, but to insinuate that he has done ANYTHING along the lines of what Trump has done is just an outright lie. Y’all literally have me correctly defending Bernie Sanders. Y’all have literally lost it.
  18. Every time that there’s a movement, it’s always a fringe. The tea party (ultra right), the “moral majority”, the trump movement, the democratic socialists, etc... we need a movement in the center (kind of like when Bill Clinton came along) except I’d like slightly right of Bill. A house and senate that weren’t polar opposite from term to term depending on who’s carrying the smallest of majorities. We need to stop letting the extreme outliers from each side determine the parties’ directions. Government should be there to negotiate and mitigate our different points of view... not cram ideologies down each others’ throats. There is no negotiation or consolidation. Just extreme partisanship and obstructionism. Just as surely as Trumps rhetoric led to Wednesday’s events, a radical, partisan socialist agenda forced upon America only because the Ds hold a tiebreaker in the Senate will also lead to greater problems in our country.
  19. Vote for I understand. Defend his actions I cannot understand. I've said it repeatedly. Trump was nowhere near the best R candidate in '16, but he got the R nomination and was a better choice than Hillary, IMO. There were no other viable options in '20 except Trump and Biden, and I probably wouldn't have voted against Biden if his VP choice wasn't so objectionable to me, personally, and that matters considering how unlikely Biden is to complete his term. But he is, was, and always will be a buffoon.
  20. You're a smart dude... you need to question what is real and what is not. Just because it's "underground" and says what you want to hear doesn't make it true. You need to be skeptical when viewing the MSM, but you've also got to be ESPECIALLY careful when viewing non-traditional sources. That looks like the digital version of those low-end gossip mags they used to sell at the checkout counter. "Girl, 7, gives birth to three-headed catfish" on the cover and stuff.
  21. “wE diDn’T loSe!!!! iT wAS STolEn!!!!” No, those are Trumper tears. Most Repubicans/Conservatives are like Mike Pence who are unhappy that Ds won, but that’s about it. You move on. The use of mail-in ballots needs to be restricted to a needs-basis so we don’t run into this again, though. If Trumpers really believe that fraudulent mail-in ballots brought this about, the old “if you can’t beat them, join ‘em” phrase will come into play. At the end of the day, our entire system is based upon our vote counting. Once enough people decide that voting is futile, the entire thing collapses. Ds need to admit that the mail-in process is flawed and rife with the possibility for fraud and work with Rs to restrict its use. You can’t just drop millions of ballots in the mail and have them returned and counted without any checks/verifications. There was fraud. But how widespread isn’t clear at all and there’s no way to prove it with the mail-in system available in some states. But those are the rules this cycle and as much as winning the election while losing the popular vote feels a little shady, so does winning with a stack of unverified mail-in ballots.
  22. Omg... I just checked out your source. You do realize that your source is 100% trash, right?
  23. You do realize that everybody knows exactly who that dude is, right? He’s not Antifa, either. He isn’t pretending to be anybody other than himself.
