  1. NO, SIR..... that term has been deemed racist and offensive to minorities by those who matter, and any further use of that type of language WILL get you banned from this site, sir. It's just like when my homosexual coworker changed his name from "Kenny" to "Brayden." We all respected his wishes and understood that our jobs were on the line if we taunted him with this former name. Do you understand me?
  2. "Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. You know that, right? Coronavirus. They’re politicizing it. We did one of the great jobs. You say, ‘How’s President Trump doing?’ They go, ‘Oh, not good, not good.’ They have no clue. They don’t have any clue. They can’t even count their votes in Iowa, they can’t even count. No they can’t. They can’t count their votes. One of my people came up to me and said, ‘Mr. President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia. That didn’t work out too well. They couldn’t do it. They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything, they tried it over and over, they’ve been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning, they lost, it’s all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax. But you know, we did something that’s been pretty amazing. We’re 15 people [cases of coronavirus infection] in this massive country. And because of the fact that we went early, we went early, we could have had a lot more than that." The only hoax is when Democrats (and you) keep claiming that the President called the virus a hoax. This is a transcript of the speech you are alluding to... If you've ever even heard it or read about it. He calls the Democratic criticism of the Adminstration's pandemic response as "their new hoax," likening their new criticism to their previous criticism of Russian Collusion, Impeachment, etc, etc... At that point, with 15 total cases in the US, the dems were already piling on. Seeing has to how you and others keep repeating lies.... he wasn't wrong.
  3. The virus is definitely real. My thoughts are that if you subtract out the unfortunate cases where the patient had severe underlying conditions AND the numbskulls that won't even try to alter their habits (social distancing, voluntarily wearing a mask, etc....), the thing really isn't the Bubonic Plague. Not even close. Their ability to treat the thing has gotten much, much better as the thing has progressed. Most of us know somebody (or at least know of somebody) who has died from the virus. But we can't count the number of people that we've lost to cancer, heart attacks, car wrecks, old age, etc.... we need to do the best that we can, but keep moving forward.
  4. If you take the CDC figures of 7.31 million confirmed cases and 208k deaths, (7.31m/208k) you end up with 0.0284. That's 2.84%. And I'm assuming that he's using US cases only, because that's all that really matters to me. The problem is that I know multiple people who have tested positive for the antibodies, but never tested positive for the actual virus. It's obvious that they've contracted the illness with no symptoms and also never appeared as active cases... Not in the 7.31 million. I also know a handful of people who had the thing in all probability (sick family member tested positive, then they exhibited the same symptoms after exposure but weren't ever tested. Those people aren't included in the 7.31 million confirmed cases, either. All I can do is estimate, based purely on wild speculation that the total number of people who have been infected in the US is at least 3-4 times higher than the number of confirmed cases. That would push the mortality rate down to negligible levels.
  5. I felt like that with a toothache one time.... I wish we could have shut the country down then, too.
  6. That's untrue. For starters no one has a clue how many people have been asymptomatic and never tested, so nobody has any idea how many people have actually contracted it, so there's not even a defined denominator for the equation that yields the statistic you're spewing around. The ironic fact is that we're on pace to have fewer total deaths in the United States in 2020 than in 2018 or 2019.... what does that tell you about this awful disease that's destroying our population, in your estimation?
  7. You’re right-we should be forced to wear masks and lockdown our economy to prevent the spread of a vicious disease that has no symptoms for most that contract it. 9 members of the Titans came down with it. None had symptoms. Testing yields more positive test results when you test people who aren’t having symptoms. The whole thing is a bad joke, unless your one of the few healthy people who actually do exhibit symptoms.
  8. Odds are that he’ll be asymptomatic.
  9. Hey.... I might help if you guys could notify posters when their content is removed. I think sometimes you guys are moderating and the guilty parties (myself included) don’t even realize that it’s happening.
  10. And I'll bet 10 out of 10 black people have said it.... Ain't no different. Why would I hire a black person when all I'm going to hear is about their skin color and how unfair the world is? That's not on white people, that's on black people. When is the last time you heard of a black person getting run off because they were a bad employee? It's always because "they be black." Same with every time they get pulled over. They got stopped because they're black. End up in prison? Obviously because they're black. When black people make themselves accountable to themselves, they'll catch up with the rest of the Americans. People like you live in a fairy tale world where 56 years after the Civil Rights Act, things are worse than ever, and it's all Trump's fault. Nobody owes you anything. Get over yourself.
  11. I'll freely admit that I enjoy "stirring the pot," and I enjoy a spirited debate. When somebody like me thinks that things are getting out of hand... it must be bad. I miss being the only guy spouting ridiculous crap. There are a lot people who are really, really worked up on both sides right now and I don't see what's gonna bring things back into focus. I'm honestly a little concerned.
  12. Why do black people get so many abortions? Don't black lives matter? [Hidden Content] What's comical is that most sensible people would call the government sponsored slaughter of young people from a particular race as genocide... but in this case, black people are clamoring for the RIGHT to be eradicated. It's insane.
  13. And they won..... No settlement was gained by the feds and the Trump Organization ran ads in NYC encouraging black applicants to apply for apartments. Keep in mind that this was less than 6 years after the passage of the Civil Rights Act. There were a lot of growing pains. But if you'd like to point out something that a lower-level employee did at Trump's Dad's organization in 1970 as proof that the man is a racist.... you're a fool, too.
  14. YOU are the one accusing him of spewing hate. But you can't come up with a single racist statement that he's ever muttered. C'mon. I'll agree with you. I just need one racist quote. Just one. Betcha can't. Because it's a lie that fools believe.
  15. Why should he, when they aren't even a problem? Why didn't they even ask Biden to denounce Antifa or BLM? They're both hate groups, and they've been responsible for 99% of the unrest we've seen this year. You haven't seen any white supremacists (who don't realistically even exist anymore) or Proudboys out burning cop cars, looting, or attacking innocent people. Y'all just get your feelings hurt when good people get sick of your tantrums. Name one hateful thing he's ever said about black people. I'll bet you can't. YOU are the one spewing hate.
  16. Richard Nixon. It's been like this since his Presidency..... Each side has seen "their" guy savaged by the other side until it's just expected. The hypocrisy knows no bounds. Whether it's Reagan's Iran-Contra scandal, Bush's tax increases, Clinton's sex scandals and Whitewater, Bush's Gulf War and economic collapse, Obama's healthcare debacle, putrid economic recovery, and diminished race relations, or any number of things that Trump has been involved in. There are no limits to what either side will say or do to one another. Unfortunately, I think that the only natural place for it to go from hear is violence. Heck, it's already happening in metro areas.
  17. Yeah... that was a disaster. Honestly, though... when you fail to vote, you actually helped the winner.
  18. Dude... we snuck into the playoffs last year in 4AD1. I honestly think that anything less than third in this particular district would be an embarrassment. Normally I'd say that a team dropping down should be expected to compete for a DC, but most teams aren't dropping down into a District already populated by WOS and Silsbee. Which two teams will beat us out of those last two spots? HF? OF? Liberty? HJ? We'll be fine.
  19. I’m just glad you’re ok... I was worried that something was up with you.
  20. We’re just bigger... and you can bet BC and HJ are gonna be ready to strap it up for that game.
  21. I think he’s got them headed in a good direction. Tough district, though. With Silsbee, WOS, and BC dropping down, the hawks have their work cut out just to make the playoffs.
  22. I was trying to Google something hateful (bobcat/tiger) and you just can’t make this stuff up. Because most new Tiger Cubs can’t read, Cub Scout leader H.R. is looking for creative ways to teach Bobcat requirements to these young boys. [Hidden Content] Silsbee Homecoming probably led to a loss of focus. I wouldn’t worry too much about the Tigres. They’ll be in the hunt before long.
