Seriously, though... these bug me. Atiana and Breonna Taylor. Those situations can and do happen to all kinds of people... it could easily happen to me. I don’t know what the answer is. In this case (door ajar, responding to a welfare check) you’d want to sneak around and look in to determine if someone was at risk. You’d also want control of the situation until all parties have been identified. If the person inside the house pulled a weapon, you can’t expect a police officer to allow himself to be shot. If the situation was exactly the same but the officer had killed a kidnapper, we’d be pinning a medal on him. But the young lady has every right to defend herself from someone trying to enter the residence when she isn’t sure of that person’s intentions. It’s a grey area, and I don’t know what fixes it.

Did you watch the clip? Those “peaceful protestors“ were trying to burn down the federal building with that guards inside. That’s when they sent in the federal reinforcements. There have been federal officers there forever. The rioting forced them to bring in more because the city wouldn’t control the situation. You haven’t seen feds out and about. They’re specifically protecting federal property.

If the police tell you to leave and you do not, then the police shoot a tear gas canister in your direction to try once again to get you to leave the area, then you pick up the canister and lob it back towards the cops, you should be thankful that they weren’t using live ammo. Once he picked that canister up, all bets were off. If people have been assaulting cops in that area for days, then you decide to go down and take part in the fun.... well, you get what you get. That’s just how it works in the real world. It’s funny how y’all all want to be socialists (speaking of your generation) but I was around when the socialists were running people down in China. Not people who were throwing stuff at the cops. Just for blocking the street. I’ve seen injustice. This isn’t it.

I think I'd enjoy hanging out with BIden. I don't care for liberal policies, and I'm almost certain that he won't serve out his first time. Probably won't last a year. I'm still waiting on that VP pick, but I'll probably end up holding my nose and voting Trump. I just won't pretend that Biden is any more credible than Trump. Biden's first run at the Presidency was for the 1988 Election (32 years ago). His dishonesty knocked him out back then. I just don't see how he's any different than the guy we've got there now.

John Lewis was an impressive guy. Don't sell him short. The man was out there peacefully protesting when he didn't have the same rights as everybody else. Back when racism didn't have to be pointed out.... it was in your face and speaking up could mean paying with your life. Those guys were on the right side of history. I was amazed at Jesse Jackson's attendance at Obama's Inauguration in 2008. From marching with MLK to being present when he was shot, to seeing the first black president sworn in. That's impressive stuff. And don't let the guys clown you. There have only been 45 US Presidents, and every single one was great man. You can't get to that spot without being an helluva man. You don't have to like a president's policies, but you have to admit that he's a special, special person who should be respected.

I'll hop in here, if that's okay. Of course the situations are initiated by the protesters. The protesters are arriving to the scene of a police presence and starting to protest... the protesters start their business and the police have to respond to the disturbance. But if you are anti-police, none of if matters. The same people who condemn police responses would NEVER allow another human to treat them as such. I can't imagine a situation where Pamfam would allow another man to spit in his face. But if a cop responds to someone spitting in his face, he/she gets held to a higher standard, as he says. If they were watching videos of some kid screaming in a gangbanger's face, they'd completely understand the kid getting knocked out. But if a kid wants to curse at the cops, the cop is honor bound to do nothing or face criticism from those that are anti-police. If our police are so racist, oppressive, and violent, I don't understand why all of those people are brave enough to curse, spit, throw stuff, etc, right out in front of them. If you are genuinely scared of somebody, you don't try to provoke confrontations with that person. Period. I think that a lot of people came out to protest with nothing but vocalizing their frustrations on their mind. Unfortunately there were also people who saw an opportunity to loot Foot Locker. At that point, it's up to the peaceful protesters to confront those who are hijacking the protest (which we saw in some cases), or just go home. Either is acceptable. They should also roundly condemn the violence and lawlessness. That's been one of my biggest complaints about the movement. Even if someone chooses not to participate in the lawlessness, they condone it with their silence or often openly support it (the lawlessness). It doesn't matter what happens- There is never a reason to loot a Target. Ever. But it's crickets from the BLM and their many followers, unless they're blaming other people for CAUSING the mob to loot Target. It's bananas. I felt like those homeowners were well within their rights to brandish weapons at the mob. I also felt like the LA County DA's husband was also probably within his rights when the protesters showed up at their house.

[Hidden Content] The top embedded video shows the event. The feds shot what appears to be a tear gas canister that landed by Donavan's feet. He picked the canister up and threw it back towards the police, then put what appears to be a radio back over his head. Somebody yells "eff you" (you really can't tell who), but then Donavan gets beaned with the less lethal round. I'm just speculating here, but my guess is that the "protestors" had been told to move, get back, disperse, etc..... that's PROBABLY what led to the use of the tear gas canister. And while it looks like Mr. Donavan had no intentions of striking an officer when he threw the canister back towards the police, he shouldn't have thrown it back. Throwing tear gas canisters back towards the police is an ample reason to get lit up with a beanbag/rubber bullet. No apology is necessary. Just for your viewing pleasure....

I apologize, I haven't been following this particular story very closely. Could you point me towards any info on it? The guy's name, the date it happened, the link to the story? I think a lot of it is a difference of perspective. It sounds kinda like you believe that cops are just out there shooting people in the face with rubber bullets for no particular reason. I really haven't seen much of that. Or any of that.

Here’s the deal.... if my buddy comes by and asks me to give him a ride to town, then asks me to stop right there in front of the bank. Then he walks in and runs back out with a bag o’ money. Guess what? I’m a bank robber, too. The media keeps pushing the false narrative that these are “mostly peaceful protestors,” but once the first brick gets chunked, you’re a rioter, too. That 11-year old girl holding a sign is just as much of a rioter as the dude carrying TVs out the store window. They all took part in the riot. It’s not that hard to understand.

The real problem is that at least two other kids decommitted around the same time because they didn't like the way that A&M's coaches and fans responded to Martell's decommitting. They have really enjoyed watching him flounder all over the place. That's the crazy thing about that show... the way that the kids are portrayed can make you really like them or really dislike them. I still like to follow Jake Fromm as he moved on to Georgia. Can't stand Spencer Rattler.

Isn't it crazy how Trump is vilified because the whacko white supremacists support him, but Joe gets a pass when the people who are sworn to destroy our nation and recreate it as a communist state say that they'll be voting for Biden? It's gonna result in violence before too long.

I watched the head of the TSTA (Texas State Teacher's Association) on local news yesterday talking about Covid and how they don't need to go back to school. It looked like a live posting done in her office. I couldn't help but notice the placard on the wall behind her that said #JusticeforGeorge and #BlackLivesMatter. I'm pretty sure that she wasn't talking about "Justice" for the time that he held a gun to that pregnant woman's belly. Yeah, I'm excited that she's proudly supporting a Marxist organization. I wonder what kind of hellstorm would break loose if she'd have had a "MAGA" sticker up there? These are the people that are directing the teachers that are educating our kids.

The federal police aren't the problem. Rioters are.

I was at Lamar in the mid/late 90s and the liberalism wasn’t subtle, but it wasn’t “silence all dissent” like we have now. You had to disagree quietly, if you know what I mean. I gave up on public education about 12 years ago when One of the boys had a Christmas program that was something about having “A Green Christmas.” Of course there were no carols to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, but the idea of having a Christmas program (errrrrr, “Holiday” program”) that was geared towards promoting green energy right in the heart of the petrochemical industry’s stronghold convinced me for good that most educators have been lost to reason.

They are a racist group that only seek to promote their own at the expense of others. Their violence is well documented. They promote hatred as “right” and “just.” They demand that our system be changed to give their “persecuted” protections that aren’t afforded to others. Their anti-semitism is no longer hidden. Am I talking about BLM or the KKK?

That guy had too much time on his hands. He posted so much that it made me re-evaluate how much I post and whether I needed to rein it in a little.

Sometimes a little profanity is an excellent enhancement to a story. Jokes just don’t have the same pop when you say “fudge.” But I get it. It doesn’t bother me as long as it’s not directed towards others.

Kap didn’t get blackballed. He lost his mojo and I’m convinced that he submarined his workout that the nfl did specifically for him to perpetuate his victim hood. He wants to get under center as badly as Biden wants to debate trump. The problem with Kap is that teams felt like he would hurt their bottom line. Analysts predicted that any team that signed him would lose approximately 20% of their gross revenues. Baltimore got close and then Kap’s gf took a massive dump all over management and they decided not to sign him. [Hidden Content] Much less the fact that Kap turned down his offer from the 49ers. So “blackballed” is a lie.

The word “racist” means nothing anymore. it’s been used and abused by the left to explain away everything (including black-on-black) crime and nobody cares anymore. “Racist” now means “isn’t liberal.”

And Biden is loved by all of those looters. What’s your point?
