  1. This is how stupid the conversation has gotten. Plessy v Ferguson established “Separate but Equal” as a doctrine in 1896 that allowed for segregation in the US to continue up until Brown vs the Board of Education (1954) forbid the practice because it’s apparent that black kids get inferior educations in all-black schools. In 2020, blacks are so IGNORANT of their own past and what was fought for on their own behalf that y’all are now advocating “separate but equal.” Either that or you’re so blinded by racial hatred that you don’t care if your student athletes end up with a second rate education, as long as they play for an all-black school, just to “show Whitey.” Either position is indefensible.
  2. I always thought it was png@mom. I was like “when did she start using he/him pronouns?”
  3. I think he’s talking about “unarmed.” The actual total for blacks killed by police averages around 220 or so. So I guess that black dude that killed those five cops in Dallas on TV back in 16 was technically innocent by your definition when they killed him, too?
  4. Those schools’ boosters don’t pay as well as the Power 5 schools do. Rumor has it that Scam Newton won’t make as much this year as he did at Auburn.
  5. 50 “innocent” in 8 years? Nice of you to determine “innocence” based solely on skin color. How do those 50 compare to the approximately 60,000 black lives taken by black hands in the same time frame? That is why the saying and the organization BLM is a joke to any rational person. All jokes aside.... why would a business person want to hire an employee who thinks as you do? You assume that anybody from SETX is probably racist, while complaining that a cop is wrong for assuming that you are likely a criminal as so many young black men are. You literally are what you claim to hate.
  6. You’re a clown. As everybody here knows, I was born in raised in Port Arthur and I raised my kids in BC because it’s a great place for your kids to get an education. I don’t even live there anymore, and haven’t for years. Nice job on the assumptions, Genius. You’re right... we weren’t very diverse in Bridge City.... but if you (and all of your obvious intelligence) can point me towards a community that is 95% black that can compare to BC in regards to quality of life, academic success, property values, crime rates, etc.... I’ll move there myself. The mosquitos were bad in BC, and it’s not very scenic. And your illustration of the twitter posting just proves my point. The black community pretending to be upset by a word they all use every day. Trust me. You use that word to describe your own who haven’t applied themselves like you have. We all know it, lol.
  7. From this point forth, I shall refer to my mask as a "muzzle."
  8. C'mon, man... I watched that porno that George was in. Porn stars Trump banged > Porn starts Big Floyd banged. Advantage Trump.
  9. That was the game that had the winning 2 point conversion to Mackey that forever solidified his place as the best WR to ever come out of Southeast Texas, right? I couldn't help myself. And I seem to know a lot about a team I can't stand, huh?
  10. Yeah.... I'm not sure how race made its way into this one. That's a lot of money. Guy is resetting the standard for the way the game gets played... might as well reset the standard for how the best gets paid.
  11. I think it's up to the people that live in that school district, period. If they (as a group) decide to change mascots, awesome. If they all decide to keep the traditions, that's awesome, too. Not the school super, not some whackjobs from out of town, not just a bunch of loudmouthed "woke" kids. When a majority of the bunch makes a decision, good for them. It's the same way that I feel about the flag in Mississippi. If those folks vote to change their flag, great. If they vote to keep it as it, great. You shouldn't have some "enlightend" college profs deciding that after a go-zillian years, it's too offensive to play "Dixie" at Ole Miss games. Alabama was forced to quit playing "Dixieland Delight" at theirs. It's all so stupid. I would have said retarded, but that's offensive now, too.
  12. Then they need to go drag down that Mexican flag that's flying in front of the PA Library. We whipped them in the Texas Revolution and the Mexican American War. Those losers need to tuck tail and hide. Said no Southerner, ever. For that matter, we need to junk the old red, white and blue after that debacle that happened in Vietnam, huh? Losers' flag, and all. (Hmmmm never thought about that one, didja?) The funny thing is that all of those "enlightened" folks don't even realize that there's a confederate flag flying in most government buildings that still have all six of the flags that've flown over texas.... they just don't recognize the actual confederate flag. BTW, somebody needs to get down their and riot at Six Flags over Texas about this crap, too.
  13. Nah... but somebody told me that they saw Coe about 10 years ago and he got drunk and played “that” song. [Hidden Content] I don’t care what he says... that stuff is racist.
  14. 1. I’m not claiming to know what Native Americans think... Santa is the one claiming that things are offensive to Native American as well as blacks people. Either he’s the first bi-racial Indian/black ever (because apparently they don’t like each other very much, lol), or he’s speaking out on something for which he has no basis. 2. “Leave the past in the past” they cry.... unless they want reparations. The bottom line is this. The flag didn’t bother anybody way back around the time that PN got that letter from the Cherokees. People who were never oppressed decided to be offended by it in these modern times. If I can’t possibly understand what the n-word means to black people, by the same token they can’t possibly understand what that flag means to Southerners. The truth of the matter is that it isn’t just the rebel flag. It’s the American flag, the national anthem, the founding fathers, Christianity.... the left wants to destroy every single bit of it. It’s not some crazy theory... they’ll scream it in your face.
  15. They call their campus and fields "The Reservation." That kinda shows a certain amount of ignorance or at least indifference to what happened to Indians on the part of PN peeps, wouldn't you say?
  16. I hear what you're saying... but things were different back in 79. If you guys want to help yourselves, you'd better stop standing behind a letter that was written 40+ years ago and join in with defending other institutions that are under attack from the left. You know, the same ones that wanted to tear down the cross in PN Park a few years ago. Your old letter doesn't make you any different than Evadale's Rebels, Washington's Redskins, or any other institution that is facing attacks today. JMO.
  17. First off, as a black person, you have no clue what the terms mean to Indians or "Native Americans" or "Indigenous people." Secondly, you have no idea what that flag means to white southern Americans, so you need to just shut up. My rights don't end where your opinion comes in. Just sit over there and keep dropping n-bombs on all of your boys and then get all butthurt if a whiteboy says it. The word doesn't bother you, white people do. They're won't be any hypocrites in Heaven, either. So you need to make some changes, Santa.
  18. I’ll be danged.... we agree on something! I think he’s a schizo, honestly. A rebel. It makes me laugh because the most rebellious thing you can do is an artist is to wear a MAGA hat, lol. It’s a mixed up world... we went to a concert a while back and the guy and his band were all long-haired, long beards, covered in tattoos and playing the most daring music... stuff so far out there that they won’t play it on the radio. It was just authentic country music kinda like Waylon and Willie used to play. These guys are modern day outlaws, lol.
  19. I remember hearing that one was coming when I was college aged... I thought it was just hyperbole. It seemed to me that things weren’t that bad then, and have been steadily improving since in regards to the appearance of overt racism and bad feelings between the races, anyways. Now it seems like we are right at the point of no return. I’m conservative personally in regards to social issues and my personal finances, and I got my BBA. Trump was not my first choice for a President in 16, but I felt like he was the better option when compared to Hillary’s desire to move the country further left at the expense of business, the wealthy, and economic growth- kind of like what happened during Obama’s two terms. I’m not a diehard Trump guy at all. When people say that all of this is Trump’s fault, they’re being dishonest. But when people say he’s done absolutely nothing to calm things down, they aren’t lying. If I’m getting pissed off every time he opens his mouth, I can only imagine how the undecided/independents must be feeling right now.
  20. There’s just something down deep in our DNA and/or culture here that just doesn’t take getting pushed around. We’re not descended from fearful men, as the old saying goes. I think it goes beyond race and more along political lines. I have no clue as to the race of the prosecutor out there that is responsible for these charges. But I would fall over dead from a heart attack if somebody said that he/she/it turned out to be a God-fearing conservative. I wonder where all of those people the left keeps calling “coons” and “uncle toms” would be if it ever really does get kicked off... because I’ve got a bad feeling they would be crucified first by the mob.
  21. I’m totally opposed to violence... until there’s no other choices left. I really worry that there are plenty who aren’t as opposed to it as I am. Once the ball gets rolling, we’ll all have choices to make.
  22. This is why I think we’re going to have to settle our differences with violence. It’s getting to the point where we just aren’t going to be able to exist together. For weeks and weeks we’ve seen vandalism of monuments. We’ve seen private property covered in graffiti by “peaceful protestors.” We’ve seen innocent people beaten by mobs. Stores have been looted all across America. Minneapolis is asking for $55 million federal dollars to repair damage caused by rioting in that city alone. [Hidden Content] Somebody painted over a “black lives matter” sign on the roadway and they’re now charged with a hate crime. White people and conservatives need to decide if they want to fight or sew a yellow star their shirts. There’s not much else that can be done, I’m afraid.
  23. I kinda think that the presidency is headed towards being more of a figurehead than a chief executive. The days of an old General becoming the president are gone. There will be no more Eisenhowers, Grants, or Washingtons for that matter. Bill Clinton was the first president who’d never served in the military, and nobody elected since has, either.... unless you’re counting GWB’s stint down at the armory. Our last two presidents weren’t even experienced at all as executives in any level of government. There weren’t any governors or former governors with their name in the hat this time. Obama was a first time senator and Trump had never served anywhere. It’s just a popularity contest at this point. We should switch over to voting by phone American Idol-style and just select The Rock to the the next President. I think that’s where we’re headed anyways.
  24. Dwight Yoakum was awesome... that’s the voice that I hear when I’m talking to myself.
  25. Goodfellas for “crime,” Tombstone for “western,” Full Metal Jacket for “war,” O Brother Where Art Thou for “comedy.” Honorables: Urban Cowboy The Unforgiven Personal Fave: “The Apostle” with Robert Duvall
