  1. Does Matthews hold way back during scrimmages like Dubois does? Dubois wouldn't even let the players wear their normal jersey numbers.
  2. Thanks for saying that. And you're right... it just makes things harder on the rest of us. Just like when some knuckle-headed white kid does something ridiculous, it makes things worse all of the way around. My biggest complaint is that those who yell the loudest about the intangibles (systemic racism, oppression, privilege, supremacy) go eerily silent when stuff like this happens. Just a simple, "that was messed up..... but we're better than this as a group" would be nice to hear sometimes. I know they're vocal... they talk all of the time. It just seems like nobody will speak up when things go the other way.
  3. This is literally what I buy a couple of times a year when I buy pancake mix... mostly because of the marketing, lol. I'm curious as to the re-brand will be, or if they just hop out of the market.
  4. Rolling the furry dice in public, too.... That's next level kink.
  5. Mrs Butterworth be sweatin’.
  6. Wow.... he’s been arrested 103 times? “ I know of white kids that haven’t even been arrested once. Just more proof that the system is racist.” My guess is that this guy has mental issues. Based on his age I’d guess that he was a crack baby. I don’t know what you can do for people like that. I guess you just feed em, house em, give em a phone and wait for them to hurt somebody really bad and get themselves penned up long term.
  7. Aaaaaaaand.... this was on my feed minutes ago. Isn’t it crazy how the suspect’s/victim’s race(s) don’t get mentioned when the shoe is on the other foot? [Hidden Content] 31 year old man knocks 92 year old woman into a fire hydrant. My grandpa would say “he ain’t worth the powder and lead it’d take to blow his brains out.”
  8. One my friends shared the post on fb this morning. I see where a pro-cop website has picked it up.... I don’t expect the mainstream media to mention it. This was right down the road in Spring, Texas. Watch the video. [Hidden Content] I found this particularly disturbing. I understand that the biggest problem in America is white supremacy (lol) but I keep hoping that ANYBODY on the left or black community would at least acknowledge that these things happen, and that they are wrong. There will be crickets. Maybe I’d feel better if somebody could at least show a single image of a black person being treated that way by a white mob... but those violent acts don’t occur. Episodes like these prove that the whole “white supremacy/white oppression” is a bold-faced lie.
  9. Social media. Every dipsh_t has a platform. And there are plenty on both sides.
  10. It dang sure wasn't the new coach's record.... (0-30, in case you missed it)
  11. I miss the old days when Walter Cronkite would just tell you what happened today. No spin, no opinion...."here's what happened today."
  12. I would agree, but people were saying that PG lost some keys as well.... and I'm not sure what WOS has done to leapfrog anybody. Sometimes I need to be reminded that the rankings are compiled by people who have probably never seen half of the teams they're ranking, much less have any idea about personnel other than the blue chips scattered here and there.
  13. His does not. He was a cop. Although opinions might shift if the suspects were wearing any rebel flag paraphernalia.
  14. None of it matters.... I saw an article about the guy that they found hung in a tree in Southern California. People were calling it a lynching, etc... somebody pointed out that practically all of the hangings in the US are suicide, and have been for decades... there has been ZERO indications that this is anything but a typical suicide... to which someone replied...”suicide? Black people don’t just hang themselves from trees.... and even if he did, it’s obvious that he was overwhelmed by all of the racism and oppression, so his blood is on your hands, too!” Of course it is.
  15. I’ve heard a couple of LEOs say “yes,” because once the officer is tazed he’s unable to defend himself. Also, my understanding has always been that whatever you do, the cops “go up one level.” They’re not obligated to match your level of force. That’s a common misconception. “I was hitting him, but that’s no reason to hit me with his stick.”
  16. What’s your opinion on this use of force? I’ve seen a few LEO-types post that this was justified because the officer would have been incapacitated if tazed and unable to defend himself. Mike Tyson said “everybody has a plan until you get punched in the face.” A fight is extremely stressful, whether you’re a pro fighter, untrained civilian, or trained policeman. When a person initiates combat with a policeman, they’re basically putting him/her into an unbelievably stressful position and counting on them to make sound decisions under those conditions. Sometimes I think that a lot of these people complaining have never been in a fight.
  17. That’s back before we all knew how offensive a flag could be.
  18. I think you’ll see more of this, not less. When the lefties made sure that you can no longer restrain a person around their neck, they guaranteed that more of these fights will have deadly endings. Either one of those cops could have taken the guy’s back and locked him down.... except now they can’t. That tool was taken. I think the police should do a little protest of their own. Just a public announcement that “due to our systemic racism and uncontrollable oppression, each and every one of us has decided to suspend ourselves for one week without pay, effective now. May the odds be ever in your favor.” And cue the Purge siren.
  19. Yeah.:.. she’s not talking about any accountability for the guy who was wilding out.
  20. When they say “defund the police” they’re talking about taking the money that police departments operate with. Some people want to see less police and some people want them to be completely disbanded. That’s what the Minneapolis City Council voted to do this week. Completely do away with the police force. Some people believe we’d be better off with no police.
  21. That word means different things to different people. Some just want to see police budgets cut to teach them a lesson or make them de-militarize. Others want police budgets (Or a part of them) taken away and given to community outreach programs. Others mean that they want the police departments dismantled, period. It’s a good question.
  22. This is why everybody should have stood up for the truth whenever the first people started saying that the police and the justice system are racist, as evidenced by incarceration rates broken down by race. It went unchallenged, so now it’s generally accepted that law enforcement and the legal system as a whole are racist... what choice do they have but to do away with it like an offensive statue? This isn’t the end game. The American flag will be next, the means of production, and ultimately property ownership because they all are “systematically racist.” I’m telling you... you’re already in danger just for dissent against the movement. Im afraid that at some point we’re going to have to decide to subject ourselves to the mob or take up arms.
