  1. Black men make up six percent of the population but commit 44% of the murders here... but THEIR lives are the ones in danger? Give me a break. Any which way you look at the actual statistics proves that the movement behind BLM is a lie. It’s bizzaro world.
  2. Yes, we are the least organized. Point me to a single group active in America whose purpose is to advance the cause of white people. Just one. You might find some goofballs promoting a racist/anti-semitic bunch of garbage, but they are roundly discredited by practically all white people, too. There is no group or voice for white people in America. That’s a fact. And that’s okay... we don’t need it. Or haven’t needed it. When a group stands up and alleges “white supremacy” or “white privilege” there’s not even a voice to dispute those allegations... because we don’t have one. I’m not sure what you mean by “least racial group.” I think you mean “least racist group,” and that’s not what I said. There’s no metric to measure the racist-ness of different groups. I will say this... Southeast Texas has long had a reputation for racism. There’s no disputing or denying that. Southeast Texas has a Republican State Rep from Tyler County. James White is a conservative leader who happens to be black. He also manages to get all of those “racists” to turn out and vote for him. If I’m not mistaken, he’s running unopposed this election cycle. How did all of those “racists” who hate people of color decide that THIS guy should be their representative in the state legislature? I’ll give you a hint... they didn’t have racist objections to his skin color in the first place. You said that you were at work last night. Would you lose your job if it was made public that you used the “n-word” in a text back in 2013? Because that’s the reality for every white person in America. That is a textbook version of systemic racism.
  3. Gimme a break. The klan is long gone. There is no organized violent racist group of any significance other than the AB/AN groups that are typically prison based. There aren’t even any non-violent “white” groups. There’s nothing that can compare to the NAACP, 100 Black Men, United Negro College Fund, Congressional Black Caucus, etc.... not a one. Nobody wants to admit it, but white people are the least organized along racial lines of any of the other races here. [Hidden Content] Of course the T is for Texas but it didn’t catch on until they started painting “PAT” on all of the buses.
  4. I don’t think it’s about a lack of footage.... I’m pretty sure that white on black mob violence just doesn’t happen here in the US. I’m confident that those things DID happen decades before I was born, though... prior to cameras. I’m curious... I’m in my late forties. How much younger are you?
  5. Let’s talk about experiences. Every time there’s a situation like this we see the rioting and looting. I’ve read about the Watts riots, Chicago riots, etc... I was a young man when the riots over Rodney King broke out. The riots in Baltimore over Freddie Gray, the unrest in New York over Michael Gardiner, it happens over and over again. BUT it also happens whenever there’s a natural disaster, a Republican gets elected President, etc.... So spare me righteous indignation as the cause for looting businesses. Buy on serious note, one thing that I’ve never seen. I know that we whites are the horrible racists that are the sole reason for every discomfort suffered by Black America. But why have I never seen a mob of White people dragging a black person from their car and beating them? We see the images over and over. Reginald Denny. That truck driver on the bridge in Minneapolis. The man with his family and their horses in the trailer in Oklahoma. “Get her!! She white!!” in Baltimore. Can somebody please explain why you never see the horrible white racists attacking black citizens in the street, but you can find as many clips as you’d care to find of black mobs attacking white people. Buy yet black people aren’t safe in America because of white racism. Can somebody help me understand? Just find me a single video clip of a black person being drug from a vehicle by a white mob. Please. Anybody?
  6. I thought OJ being found “not guilty” was more a reflection of his wealth (or “privilege” as we call it today) and being able to afford a fantastic legal defense. Too bad he was broke by the time he got in trouble again. True story.... the first time I ever heard “the n-word” was when that poodle-headed DA was talking to the cop. I was like “n-word? I know the a-word, a couple of b-words, the c-word that women HATE.... but the n-word? I’m confused.” I remember being amused by them trying to act like it was a big deal. I mean, just say it... everybody says it. This was long before anybody cared about “er” and “a” pronunciations. That’s how I know we’ve made a lot of progress. Minds like mine have been changed for the better. That’s not a word that I’ll utter anymore.
  7. He misspoke... no big deal. The fact that he’s a bigot is a no-go for me. [Hidden Content]
  8. Wayne Bertram Williams believes Black Lives Matter. That’s literally my opinion of the group
  9. It’s just laughable to me... People are upset and dogging Drew Brees as “insensitive” because he felt that protesting during the national anthem was “insensitive.” Your right to block the interstate is superior to my right to travel down said interstate. We live in glorious times.
  10. This might surprise a lot of you, but I’m a little bit conservative. Trump was nowhere near my first choice for President, but he was the nominee and I cast all of my votes for him. For days all that we heard is “where is Trump? He’s just hiding in the White House while Rome burns!” He finally comes out and it’s all “He used a BIBLE!!!” and “keep George Floyd’s name out of your mouth!” Which is pretty much what everybody knew was going to happen. Having said that, I have been disappointed in his lack of leadership during this time of unrest. Despite the fact that the left was going to be critical of him for whatever he did, we need a leader that can at least come across as a unifier and not as a counter-protestor.
  11. I tend to give cops the benefit of the doubt and you tend to be more.... what’s a nice way of saying anti-cop? I speculated earlier that their might have been some issues with hierarchy between senior officers and juniors... I never dreamed that two of those dudes were in their first week. What are your feelings about the two rookies? I can’t imagine being in my first week on the job and suddenly fired, jailed, and needing $100k cash to spring my million dollar bond to get out of jail before I get my first paycheck. And what I did wrong was not drag the guy that’s supposed to be training me off of a suspect.
  12. I just read where two of the four officers that were arrested were on their 4th shift ever as a policeman. Them boys hadn’t even gotten their first paychecks yet, lol. It also kinda explains why those two might have hesitated to intervene. Also makes me wonder if Officer Chauvin might have been trying to “show them the ropes” and it led to some really bad judgment on his part. Does that change anybody’s feelings towards those two officers?
  13. I thought you were kidding... PAT is Port Arthur, Texas. That's what city buses had down their side in big letters "PAT" for Port Arthur Transit. Then it got all famous in that Jay-z song. The posters on the board are real heavily conservative so sometimes it feels like Big Girl, Kountzer, and the rest are kinda getting ganged up on a little bit, lol.
  14. That’s where you and I are different. I will never be quiet just to avoid ruffling somebody’s feathers while they’re spreading falsehoods. The news story for the last three years in the NFL has been concussions and kneeling. We’ve moved backwards in AMERICA to the point where Drew Brees had to apologize for saying “I don’t agree with kneeling during the anthem.” What? That’s the reason that things have deteriorated here in the US. We’ve babied, coddled, and entertained stupidity and now we’re here. Do you feel like the only way to fix the “inherently racist legal system in America” is to defund police departments? Then you’d better start speaking up when people say that you’re a racist. People absolutely have a right to say “the legal system is racist.” And you, as an officer, have a responsibility to say “no, CRIMINALS commit more crimes... it doesn’t matter which color they are.” Why is it okay to protest and riot about the statistical anomaly that it “unarmed black men killed by cops” but racist to to point absolute genocide being committed on blacks by blacks? Genocide isn’t the right word, but there isn’t a word to describe a race killing their own in mass numbers. That dude is a clown. He still can’t admit that there’s a problem in PAT (my hometown) except the old standby, racism.
  15. Dude... give up. You can’t argue logic with the willfully ignorant. The new cause is Breonna Taylor from Louisville. She was murdered by police in her home. They shot her 8 times. Nobody can understand why the cops haven’t been arrested yet. Oh. Small detail. The police were serving a search warrant and Breonna’s boyfriend freaking shot a cop first. She got caught up in the crossfire. Racist pigs, though. No justice no no peace. Hands up don’t shoot.
  16. Your opinion means nothing when you can’t even admit that there’s a black on black crime problem in Port Arthur that’s a way bigger detriment to the black community than a bad cop in Minnesota. That’s just some more of that, what did you call it...” people on this board looking for anything and I mean anything to not have to deal with the truth.” You see, I was born in Port Arthur. My family was in Port Arthur for almost a hundred years. The last of us left around 2000. We really like what y’all have done with the place.
  17. I think you mistook what I said. I’m not trying to justify anything. I don’t think that cop put on his gear that day with the express purpose of killing anybody, much less somebody he probably knew. I’m just curious as to what got him to a place where he’s committing textbook police brutality. it’s a rhetorical question for which there will be no answer. It doesn’t fix anything and it definitely doesn’t excuse anything. You don’t have to keep throwing facts at me. I’m already aware of what happened out there.
  18. I’ll be honest... All that those crying racism had was a gut feeling about the case at that time. Turns out that they were probably right based on this new revelation. But my guess is that those people wouldn’t back off of their unfounded allegation if this revelation wasn’t brought forward. And for what it’s worth, Mr Arbery would likely be alive today if he hadn’t gotten mad and tried to take the shotgun from that dude.
  19. I don’t know what the solution is. I watched Drew Brees get savaged yesterday for saying: "I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country," Brees told Daniel Roberts of Yahoo Finance. "... Is everything right with our country right now? No, it's not. We still have a long way to go. "But I think what you do by standing there and showing respect to the flag with your hand over your heart, is it shows unity. It shows that we are all in this together, we can all do better and that we are all part of the solution." That’s considered offensive speech in America today.... he actually apologized for saying this.
  20. No. But I’ve wondered if there could have been previous animosity between the two of them. I’ve also wondered IF they actually knew each other, that Chauvin could have been acting that way out of frustration/disappointment over Mr Floyd’s apparent drugged state that day. I’ve also wondered if Chauvin had seen how dangerous of a person that Floyd was from his time bouncing at da club and knew that he didn’t want to have to fight with him if he let him up. There’s just no way to know.
  21. That’s plain enough. I think that the cop did was wrong, but I haven’t been convinced that it contributed to Mr Floyd’s death. But I’ll guarantee that it didn’t help even a little bit.
  22. THIS RIGHT HERE!!!! [Hidden Content] THIS is the type of thing that makes me say, “okay... there may have been a racial element to this killing.” At least two people have come out and testified that the shooter voiced an intense dislike for black people.
  23. I don’t think that the state will ever offer a plea. It won’t appease the masses.
  24. I guess what I’d be charged with would depend on whether or not the prosecutor was a follower of Louis Farrakhan. You know, like the prosecutor in this case. Because, you know.... “racism.”
