  1. Are you okay with mid-season transfers? What about mid-game? You cool with switching jerseys at halftime if it benefits your career?
  2. You know, my happiest day ever was this spring when the SETRPC had their annual hazardous waste drop off at Tiger Stadium. I dumped 5 tires, 4 buckets of paint, and the old battery off of my tractor and I didn’t have to sneak in and do it at night this time.
  3. God gave me all of this intelligence. It's my divine duty to help the Great Unwashed come in from the dark. If I saw a homeless person whose shopping cart had tumped over, I would stop and help him/her gather their cans and stuff. A dog with a thorn in it's paw? I was put in that dog's path to help him. When I hear a delusional fan making ridiculous claims and otherwise being obstinate, I've got an obligation to help him/her see the ignorance of their thinking. Can I get an "Amen?"
  4. Of course I know who they are. It’s a long-standing dig I use on the Eagles. Carry on.
  5. In all honestly, the squad that graduated last year were freshmen when y’all were getting tooled by squads like BC and OF. So I’m not sure that I understand you. Like I’ve said before... only Newton fans would get on here and scream about how they can’t be beat and there will be NO LETDOWN after losing all of that D1 talent, numerous other quality players, the head coach, and the OC... which is most comical because it took a last second interception in the red zone to win last year’s SC against some team I’d never even heard of. Serious question.... is this mentality a result of genetics, lack of education, isolation from civilization, or a combination of all three?
  6. That's not envy, that's Deep Woods Off.
  7. I fixed it for you. Newton crashes back to earth in 2k19.
  8. Bet the September 19th game is sold out already. Nice tickets, though.
  9. For me? I thought on the night of the first debate in 2015 there were something like a dozen people on stage that would have made a better commander in chief than Trump. The sad thing is that none of those people were as electable as Trump. I don’t think that anybody else was capable of withstanding the barrage that the media was going to throw at the eventual nominee. I’m probably more aggravated by the Republicans lack of initiative to get anything done (other than tax cuts) in Trump’s first two years. We’d been hearing about repealing Obamacare from every r candidate for something like seven years and then nothing. On the economy you can’t help but give Trump a solid good grade.... even though he didn’t do much except NOT be anti- business like Obama was. It’s not that Trump is some economic wizard, but rather he’s not pulling back on the reigns like Obama. Trump’s appeal is not his abilities. He’s able to say what he thinks (and a lot of people agree with) in the face of opposition and not wilt. Nobody wants an Apologizer in Chief. And the dude is the biggest troll of all time. I appreciate that.
  10. Nah... Biden isn’t racist. Neither is Trump. That’s all the Democrats have to run on... accusing others of being hateful. Everybody that’s not a D (or a far enough left D- exhibit Pelosi) is a racist, homophobe, Nazi, etc..... Didn’t agree with Obama? You’re a racist. Believe non-citizens shouldn’t be allowed to vote in our elections? Xenophobe. Want to own an AR? Violent racist. Think voters should be able to verify their identity? White Supremacist. Believe the Bible in regards to homosexuality being a sin? Hateful homophobe. Disapprove of abortion? Misogynist. There are a large portion of the Democratic Party that believe that all white people are racist... the only question is whether or not the racist has come to accept their own racism and throw themselves upon the altar of hypocrisy. Nobody could figure out why the polling was so inaccurate in 2016. Some speculated that moderates just wouldn’t admit that they were going to vote for Trump. I have a feeling that the polling this election cycle will be even less reliable because other than those guys with the Trump 2020 flags and MAGA hats, people aren’t going to risk admitting to a pollster that they’ll be holding their noses and voting for Trump and end up facing that pack of hyenas on the left.
  11. George Wallace was re-elected for his last term with over 80% of the black vote. He made a huge swing politically and spent a lot of time trying to explain away his own racist past.
  12. This... it’s kinda like they Castro Brother from SATX dumping a list of San Antonio people who’d donated to Trump’s campaign, along with where they worked or companies that they owned... and encouraging people to harass or boycott those people/business because they’re obviously racist. True, the information is out there if people wanted it. But compiling it for mass consumption and blasting it to the masses is just dirty. For people who fight so vigorously to protect the rights of “voters” regardless of whether or not they can provide ID, they certainly want to discourage, harass, and intimidate people who don’t vote democrat.
  13. Sounds like the Ponies are still walking around with hurt feelings, huh?
  14. Qb? We don’t throw the ball in Smoketown no more. Probably going 5 rounds again this year.
  15. Tough spot for a kid to be in. It seems to me that the kids whose parents are “shopping” them around tend to get the worst results.
  16. You still salty, Soulja? Lol. Thats why I had the quotation marks.
  17. I get that. I obviously don’t know the details, but a kid that was in Newton, left for another team, then came back to Newton would make ME nervous... especially after all of the drama with the Brown kid last year. There are a lot more stories about kids jumping around with limited success than there are stories about kids making multiple transfers and balling out every place that they go. Other than Calvin Tyler going “home” to Silsbee, I cant think of another. Anybody want to enlighten me?
  18. I have no information whatsoever, but I'd be a little nervous about having another good player not on the team come the playoffs if I was Newton Fan. Not saying this kid is the same, but it would make me nervous. Too much "I'm taking my talents to Cleveland" in high school sports these days.
  19. Seems like we always scrimmaged at the old Junior High.
  20. Cardinalbacker, he/him.... I'm gonna start announcing my preferred pronouns going forward.
  21. Yeah, I’m not that “they took God out of the classroom” guy.... but it’s not hard to figure that the main change in the last few decades is that we aren’t instilling Christ in our kids.... not the schools, but us as parents. Myself included. There’s not a lot of “Greater love hath no man” floating around theses days.
  22. Man.... every time that something like this happens, you have ding-dongs from both sides pumping out info that indicates that the other side is responsible. You don't even know what to believe. [Hidden Content]
  23. Mixed up kid...... if what I read was actually his “manifesto,” he denounced both parties. Condemned immigrants, expressed hardcore environmentalist viewpoints, and hated big corporations. Specifically lamented that the media would blame Trump. Heres the problem. It’s identity politics. We’d all be a lot better off if everybody would stop choosing up sides. I’m afraid that there’s more to come. They’ve created an entire culture that believes that they’ve somehow been totally screwed in the best country that exists on earth and that cops are trying to kill them for no reason..... Nobody wants to talk about the effect of telling white kids that they’re inherently racist and that the only reason that they’ve achieved anything in their short lives is because the system is rigged. The left will create two kinds of young white men with all of their talk of privilege. The boot lickers like Beto that spend all of their time apologizing for perceived slights and imagined offenses.... and angry white kids that hate everything the left embraces. “Mixed up kid” refers to the kids way of thinking... he can’t even tell which side he’s on. His actions are those of a monster and he should be punished accordingly.
