Won't bother the dems because they're all sporting around in electric vehicles anyways. Because they're smarter.

HAHAHA!!!!!! [Hidden Content] Harris has pretty wiped out Trump's advantage in the swing states!!!! I know it's early, but it's looking good for the "Anybody But Trump" people. "Quick, Mr. Trump!!! Say something offensive!!! Your voters need encouragement!!!!" It's not too early to go on ahead and lower your Trump flags to half mast, lol. Headlines should read "Republicans hand easy victory to lousy dem candidate by re-nominating an even worse candidate."

Here's the thing... Appraisals at the CAD are going to track market values. In other words, if somebody from California buys a house down the street for way too much money, that sets the new market values for homes in your neighborhood. It's just the way that the system works. BUT... Klein is wrong in a very big way. It doesn't matter if EVERYBODY''S appraisals double... the units can only collect 3.5% more actual dollars than they did last year... so if values across the board go up, then tax rates are forced to go down and your bill should rise by no more than 3.5%. The problem is if YOU are the only person having an increase in value-then you'll get your feelings hurt. It's ALL getting too expensive, and it's going to make ownership a tough proposition. Taxes have grown and grown, insurance is going up, and interest rates are bananas. On the other hand, rents have gone way up, too. Combine that with the fact that consumers are spoiled, and you get an idea of why things are so tight. I was watching "Urban Cowboy" the other day and watched Bud drive up to his Uncle's house. It was a new construction, small yard in a suburb. I'm guessing 3/2/2 or so... maybe 1300 square feet of living space. Homebuyers today won't own that, so builders don't build them. Complaining that you can't afford new construction in Lum doesn't mean that the world is somehow harder than it was... it means that you're too proud to buy a starter home in a neighborhood that's fading fast like the rest of us did, kiddo. It's all a product of federal government's deficit spending, and can be blamed squarely on both parties who have forgotten what "a budget" actually means.

Who Engineered the Political Coup Against JoeBama?

Ok… so if I had a toy gun and was yelling “I’m gonna kill you,” it would be okay? Kinda like having a gallows that may or may not work and yelling “Kill Pence?” -

So if I show my toy gun to the bank teller and say “give me all your money,” I’m good because it was a prop? -

Well obviously we don’t know if they worked or not… they couldn’t find Mike Pence. -

If he wasn’t, he wished he could have been… that’s for sure. -

No… if you’re trying to break into a chamber of Congress, you should probably expect to get shot in the face. -

I take your post to mean that my illustration was on point. Thank you, sir. You’re too kind. -

lol… so you support shooting looters, but if mob is trying to bust through the door of a congressional chamber and have “trial by combat” as directed moments before at the Trump rally, “that’s no excuse to shoot someone.” Clowns, I say. Clowns. -

The level of ignorance is mindblowing. After watching a mob ransack the Capitol, attack police officers, dragging a gallows (threatening to hang Mike Pence) for carrying out his Constitutional duties in the transfer of power, people died, and many went to prison, people here say “there was no insurrection.” But now they’re busy trying to prove that Joe Biden stepping down was the result of “an engineered coup.” That’s Next Level Stupid. And it shows how dumb certain people are. -
The only reason Rs are crying about Joe getting forced out is because they know, deep down in the heart of hearts, that they had a chance against Biden, and Kamala is about to stomp that proverbial mud hole in Trump’s gigantic behind, then walk it dry. Or at least that’s what it sounds like to me. Two weeks ago y’all were screaming that he needed to drop out, now you’re mad that world that he dropped out. Spineless, says I.
-
True story. I was in line at Starbucks this morning and the girl at the front of the line was like “just put Kamala on it” when the barista asked for her name. The woman behind her in line was like “you go girl!!” The old white guy wearing a MAGA hat behind me started hollering and I couldn’t understand what he was saying, but he wrapped it up with an n-word, kicked over a chair and stomped out. It happened.

One man’s “she dropped out at 1%” is another man’s “81 million people voted for Biden knowing she’d likely finish his term for him.” She has better support among Ds than Trump has among Rs, according to what I’m seeing. [Hidden Content] it’s safe to say that the advantage Trump enjoyed over Biden is gone. It’s a horse race at this point, and all she has to do is be more likable than trump.. which won’t be hard. I saw this morning that Trump’s approval dropped back down to 36%…. The middle will go her way unless something changes things.
-
You know who’s complaining? Nobody but Republicans. Dem voters don’t care. All moderates said was “anybody but these two” and the Ds obliged. To be honest, republicans/christians/fiscal conservatives should have forced trump to drop out by voting for a decent human being in the primaries instead of the disaster that is trump. Nobody wants to listen to four more years of Trump’s yapping. Dems roll in ‘24.
-
Stop lying to yourself. That’s EXACTLY what trump said. Just because you think THIS TIME he was actually lying, doesn’t change the fact that he said. And FWIW, that explanation is yours, not his. He hasn’t clarified the FACT that he said “vote more me, and you’ll never have to vote again.” Or are you denying that video clip ever occurred?

[Hidden Content] Im pretty sure Englebert is trying to establish one of these in Lakeview. LumRaiderFan gonna lead the choir.
-
Ahhhh… so he said it, but he must have been joking. I’m sure a bunch of Germans thought Hitler was joking when he started discussing a final solution, too.
-
“He’s just fond of hyperbole, exaggeration, and locker room talk.” In other words, he’s a foul mouthed liar.
-
Too many syllables, UT… Your words have too many letters.
-
Heck, most of these guy just pay their tithes directly to Trump’s campaign.
-
I’m gonna have to dispute this. They worship a man that cheated on his soft-core porn star wife with a hard-core porn star… then begged her not to tell anybody about it. But never fear… he’s here to save us from this immoral democrats, lol.
-
I’ve explained it over and over, but you don’t want to see it. That’s okay-sometimes reality scares weak men. There were the lies about election fraud that didn’t occur, the violent attack on the capital attempting to stop the counting of electoral votes that was instigated by repeated lies about “election fraud,” then his threats to try his political opponents for treason, etc… then his statements to the “beautiful Christians” on Friday. But some old man wearing diapers that can’t remember his own name on bad days is the real threat, according to you. Trump 2028!!!
-
It’s not grange that I spew. I state absolute facts combined with my own opinions and y’all hate it. I can’t stand trump. I voted against him in the 2016 and 2024 primaries. I voted for him in the 16 and 20 general elections, but don’t plan to do so this time. He wasn’t much of a president and tried to hang onto power through any means possible after losing in 2020. He’s threatening to “fix things so good that we’ll never have to vote again” if elected. Is he talking about doing away with voting? I don’t see how. Is he planning to incarcerate anyone who opposes him politically? I think so. He’s on the record as supporting having Liz Cheney tried for treason -which is punishable by death- because she didn’t excuse his actions after the election loss. He needs to be gone from our political landscape, but MAGA is too infatuated to do what’s right and just banish him like unofficially like we did to Nixon. Nixon, who didn’t do ANYTHING on the scale of what Trump tried to do after his 2020 loss. Those are my true feelings.
-
I hear you loud and clear. Or, instead of voting, I can do my best to convince other sane Rs to just sit it out in 2024. I think it’s working, lol.
