  1. Yeah.... If you subtract out the illegal aliens, errrrr.... "undocumented workers" that voted for Hillary, Trump wins by several million.
  2. Coach Dubois already told KOGT that Draper was going to go. I'll be shocked if he's able to, but he's tough.
  3. Where did Fedora end up coaching this year? See what I'm saying?
  4. No, sir.... I have it on good authority that after the debacle in Navasota, Fedora reached out to Silsbee about their opening, but they'd already hired Coach Smith. Maybe AAW can put this rumor to bed as "never happening" or confirm it by saying nothing.
  5. I'm confident you're the only one.... lol. Good luck to the Eagles as well.
  6. That's what I thought, too. But Dubois said otherwise. [Hidden Content] If it's just a toe and you can take the pain, then..... I guess you go.
  7. Second round matchup between Bridge City and Bay City in Galena Park next Friday night. Bridge City won a close victory against Center on Friday despite missing their leading rusher. Coach Dubois told KOGT that he expects Draper back in action against Bay City. Bay city beat Houston Yates to advance to the second round. What do y'all expect to see next Friday? It's no secret that we intend to run early and run often. How has Bay City played this year? I see that they lost to El Campo in overtime a few weeks back...
  8. We hope so. We had freshman #36 Andy Lara filling in for Draper last night... remember that name. He's going to be a monster up the middle in the future. Draper's mom posted that he might be available for next week, but I honestly don't see how. I'd be in my recliner with my toe in the air and ice on it. He's tough, though... I wouldn't be surprised if he's back against Bay City.
  9. Weight room accident. Broken big toe with stitches. Mom says he might be available next week but time will tell.
  10. Dang, Tigers! Congrats on a great season... i expect y'all to be contending for a DC next fall.
  11. Our hoss #28 Draper was out this week. BC responded with 439 rushing yards against Center. That's a good backfield... those kind of rushing yards with the leading rusher on the sideline.
  12. That was one heck of a game. It's a shame somebody had to lose. Center has a good Qb and WR #2 was killing us all night. Center protected the ball well and played relatively penalty-free football.
  13. Kilgore only put 29 up against Navasota? Makes you wonder.
  14. It doesn't matter. This season will be followed by a mishandled negotiation with the coach which will result in him moving on to greener pastures. It's the Woodville Way.
  15. We had more rushing yards and won the game that night. Tyler is no doubt the best back in our district... but that's not the question. The question was "backfield" not "back." We put up more points and yards with our rushing attack in 1 fewer game than everybody else. I'll echo ST413 in wondering why Coach Smith didn't have Thomas and Tyler working together at almost all times. i think I'll take more rushing yards and more points in fewer games, a head to head win, and an undefeated record in district as proof that BC's backfield>Silsbee's backfield.
  16. Morris and Baker start along with Draper, and Denton fills in well. The Qb Trahan is usually good for a TD or two, and Lara (freshman) is showing a nose for the end zone in cleanup duty. Check the stats... we run almost exclusively AND led the district in points scored... despite getting blanked by WOS and only playing nine games. And Smoketown thinks they have the best backfield.
  17. #uhaul #whoarewe #noreallywhoarewe #soweloadedupthetruckandwemovedtosilsbee #justhummingtheschoolsong go tigers!
