I can't imagine it being Tyler.... that's a long, long way from home for us.

Who had a problem with Abe Martin? I mean, it's closer for the schools up north than for any of us down here, but there's really not a "meet in the middle" location that's suitable.

I thought the agreement was that all of 9/10 4A bidistrict games would happen in Lufkin. Thursday night, Friday night (Silsbee/Carthage), then a doubleheader in Saturday. Somebody might be able to confirm or correct me.

Can you imagine how things would be with this new system but without Tyler and Jones transferring in? A. Having Tyler hasn't hurt the transition to a running attack.

BC clinched a piece of the championship and the #1 seed, I believe. If BC did end up losing next week and Silsbee won, they'd be tied at 4-1 each and BC would hold the #1 seed because Silsbee's lone loss would be to BC. i heard first D.C. in 14 years, but I don't know if that's accurate.

Meh... we finished the season last year ranked behind Newton and Kirbyville, both of whom we beat. The rankings are for entertainment at best.#1 is correct, possibly #2. The rest is just a beauty pageant.

Co-champs or not, the 1 seed should get #4 in bi-district, while the 2 seed get their #3. That could be the difference between advancing to the second round of the playoffs.

Playoff capsule on the main football page says we've clinched a spot. Silsbee and Navasota can each clinch this coming week with a win.

I believe BC would get the one seed if Silsbee and BC both finished 5-1, but Silsbee's loss was to BC. We just need to win out.

Based on history, you'd have to think Navasota. It seems like Navasota isn't "Navasota" this year. With that and a long ride on the big yellow dog for the Rattlers, I'll pick BC. We just have to refocus after that emotional win over Silsbee. We also need to ignore all of the senior night garbage thats planned for Friday. It's not over yet, and we can't overlook anybody.

I had a bad angle on the play in which they didn't stop the clock after the Silsbee Rb made it out of bounds. I wondered if he might have been moving slightly backwards and the refs gave him forward progress instead. It looked like a stoppage was due from where I was sitting.
