So let me get this right... Silslbee "spanked" BC by 20 points, but can't admit that WOS actually beat Silsbee by 21? They need to hire a new head math teacher, too.

Anybody who has watched Silsbee play knows it takes a lot less than that to make those kids "act a little hostile."

Just wait until week 4 or so and "The Best Receiving Corp" in setx has about 3 touchdowns between them and the Tigres are averaging about 3 runs for every pass attempt. That's when the panties will be bunched up.

FWIW... There isn't a 6A D2. And we play bigger schools all the time. Like every single district game. You could add all of Newtons enrollment to ours, and we still wouldn't have as many kids as LCM.... We'd just score a lot lower on our standardized testing than we do now.

So little school like Newton can win an SC, too.

All jokes aside, he seems like an absolute catch for Silsbee. That's a good hire and could very well be what they've been needing to join the ranks of state champions. Like us.

That's exactly right. Kinda like Huffman did to Silsbee @ the Silsbee homecoming. The second onside kick they recovered was just overkill, in my opinion.

Are you predicting run plays vs. passing plays? Because that's not going to make a certain group of wide receivers very happy.

And some good receivers are happy just blocking on the outside. What else can you do with a prima donna receiver in a run-oriented offense? O-line is gone, QB gone, and the coach keeps calling up runs? Could get kinda tense over there.

Looks like a lot of that "Best Receiving Corp in Texas" better figure out how to play safety or db. Time to brush up on backpedaling.

The article was garbage. Didn't even mention us. For real, though.... it's good to see Silsbee getting some recognition and to be grouped in with that bunch. That's our goal. To be one of the programs that nobody wants to face. Nice work, Tigres.

Silsbee was the best team in the nation, and WOS beat them, too.

The last time I checked, WOS has 4 championships, BC has 1, and if you add up all of Silsbee's SCs, they have exactly zero. But you guys DID manage to go a few rounds last year. Congrats.
