  1. Pretending that these requirements are aimed at anybody but minorities is lying to ones' self.
  2. I want voter ID laws. They make sense. But at the same time, there are a lot of people that want to make it harder for minorities to vote. You only have to look as far back as Texas 3 years ago when the Rs in the legislature tried to eliminate the "polls to the pews" efforts that helped so many black people get to the polls. [Hidden Content] There are federal laws already in place that make it illegal for anyone who isn't a citizen to vote in federal elections. They're basically wanting to pass a law that requires proof of citizenship when registering to vote. My guess is that most of y'all would lose your mind if you turned up to vote in November and found out that you weren't registered because you never went back and re-applied with proof of citizenship (not just a drivers license). My solution is that the Rs have EVERYBODY re-register. Even if your in your early sixties and have proof that you've voted in every election since Carter was in office. You still need to prove your citizenship when registering to vote. That would fix the problem. And all of y'all have time to spend a morning and $25 down at the Vital Statics office in the county in which you were born getting a fresh copy of your birth certificate, right? That's no hardship at all. The fact is this... if there actually were any fraudulent registrations, the people who accepted the application aren't going to suddenly stop because a new law states pretty much exactly what the law already states. The whole thing a charade to fire up the older white people. If the Rs wanted to win elections, they'd try to lure actual registered voters to vote R, instead of nominating candidates that most people hate and then disqualify people who would vote against their Messiah. And the Ds are using the same legislation to fire up their voters. The fact is, there was no widespread fraud, and this legislation is just a big bunch of hot air.
  3. I have literally heard a politician (r) from central texas state that "not everybody needs to vote" in regards to black voters.
  4. So you have to take a birth certificate to the polls with your photo ID if you look like you might not be a citizen? Sounds dumb to me.
  5. Trump is the only departing president in our 248 year history who tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power after he failed to get re-elected in 2020. He tried every way possible to stop it. From “just get me the votes” to fake electors to stopping the counting of electoral college votes in Congress. He’s a power hungry would-be dictator who promises to persecute those who don’t agree with him. He (and his unwavering supporters) are a legitimate threat to our democracy, but you’re fine with that, so long as he’s the one in charge.
  6. Be specific. I reposted below. Can you point out a single part that was untrue? I didn’t even give any of my opinions on Trump… just facts. Can you point out the lies, please?
  7. Then I guess you’re admitting to being a stupid son of a….. gun. It doesn’t matter what Trump does, he can always count on your support.
  8. Because I’ll be honest…. History is going to be much more kind to Obama than Trump, and for good reason. Obama might be a progressive, which I can’t stand, but he is a decent person. You can’t say that about Trump. Obama tried to make sure poor people could afford health care… Trump gave his rich buddies tax breaks. Trump borrowed more in four years than Obama did in eight. So much for trickle down economics working for anybody.
  9. He can’t help it. He’s always calling Biden “JoeBama.” It’s a little shout out to his racist friends- “I know he’s white, but he used to work for that ______ that we all still hate. He may not be a black, but he’s friends with ‘em!” That’s literally what JoeBama means.
  10. To address the deficit, you’re going to have to look at the biggest drivers of our spending. Social security and Medicare combine for 35% (21 and 14, respectively), then 13% of our spending is on interest on the debt we’ve already racked up, then another 13% on MedicAid. Finally you reach what used-to-be a cash cow of defense spending at 13%. Our deficit spending has probably already destroyed us. Biden keeps talking about his plan to raise taxes on the wealthy and bring in 500 billion dollars over the next 10 years… meanwhile, we’re adding 3 trillion per year to the debt right now. Hard times are coming. They’ll either be because we do the hard things in terms of cutting our spending, or because the whole thing topples because of the size of our debt. That’s what’s so crazy about the talk about the Trump Economy. They literally just cut taxes without doing anything about our spending, and deficits soared. Follow that up with COVID spending (direct gifts from the Treasury) and we’re headed into deep, uncharted waters (for us, anyways). Cutting taxes won’t fix it, and neither will raising taxes. We’ve got to make some hard choices or watch it all burn down on top of us. Don’t blame the politicians. “We the People” keep electing people who give us the best short term gains, and it’s going to end badly. I believe that I’ll see $150 loaves of bread in my lifetime.
  11. Yeah…. I really wish I could be proven a rapist, twice impreached, obese, convicted felon, with hundreds of millions of dollars in judgment debts, facing prison, with 60 more felony counts pending in multiple jurisdictions, and my wife (nudes available on the web) and kids won’t be seen in public with me… after getting beat four years ago by what has to be considered the worst Presidental ticket ever. But he’s doing it for us because he loves America. Super jealous.
  12. I’m sure he makes some, but most are handled by other people who are familiar with the different scenarios. But for what it’s worth, that’s nature of the executive branch. Eight years ago a guy with ZERO experience got elected to that position, and y’all were enthused. The man had no idea of how his branch of government worked, but he did his best to surround himself with good people (who became bad people after they quit, but that’s another story). That’s what’s so silly about the expectations that we put on presidents. They have to understand finance, defense, agriculture, education, foreign affairs, the tax code, entitlements, the environment, etc… nobody knows who’s actually calling the shots. It’s just more obvious with Biden that he’s not doing much in the way of decision making. So to answer your question… I don’t think Biden has been making a lot of decisions, but in his defense I don’t think many Presidents do. But based on recent history, we don’t care if a guy is qualified for the job. The last guy we elected was a reality tv star with a bad combover and zero experience.
  13. Who cares?!!! Why are y’all still crying about a guy who’s been retired for eight years? Racism, I suspect.
  14. It really doesn’t matter. The red hatted fools are never going to admit that their guy got stretched out again. What’s amazing as they don’t even realize that everybody thinks they’re just a bunch of babies, crying because they didn’t get their way. It’s embarrassing. The real problem in America isn’t drag queens, it’s grown men who refuse to face the truth. Trump is a loser.
  15. Shouldn’t you be online trying to find a post by some whacko in his mom’s basement that proves once and for all that Trump won in 2020? I noticed that Rudy got disbarred last week for lying to you.
  16. Fixed it. And yes. And it’s not an election fraud denier. It’s just someone who refuses to believe fairy tales when we can’t believe our guy lost.
  17. These guys cry about TDS when Obama is still all they can think about 8 years after he left office. Jobama? Sounds like a somebody is just holding a grudge over something. I always assume they’re still mad that a black man got to be President.
  18. Yeah, right…. Trumpers will look at a mountain of PROOF that Republicans tried to interfere with the results of the 2020 election but say “nah…. I don’t believe it.” But will sweat their own souls to hell that the democrats stole the election without a single shred of evidence…. Not proof, they don’t even have EVIDENCE of any wrongdoing, much less proof. Not even a single cell phone photo. But that doesn’t deter the red-hatted fools belief in things unseen. And if you believe it happened in 2020, what’s going to keep it from happening again? Because it didn’t happen. A few people tried, and they got busted. All Repubs, btw. Buncha babies.
  19. This is such a dumb argument. Obama got more votes than Reagan. Does that make Obama a better President? No… the number of voters increases in subsequent elections. I’m not arguing that Trump can’t get a lot of votes… I’m just pointing out the fact that he’s better at getting people to vote AGAINST him. The ONLY election fraud in 2020 was done by republicans, starting at the very top. From trying to “just get me votes over the phone to the Georgia SOS, to sending fake electors to the Capitol, to a physical assault on the Senate attempting to stop the actual counting of electoral votes, it was Rs. All Rs.
  20. Or they put their affection for one candidate (and former reality tv star) over the hood of the nation. On a separate note, I saw a talking head today that stated “if Biden drops out, his delegates and his war cheat would automatically go to Kamala because her name accompanies his on the campaign fund and delegates.” I call bs because I’m almost certain a vote in the primaries would have been for Biden, not Biden/Harris… it’s gonna be a war if the dems try to slip around Kamala in favor of someone who doesn’t check off as many “protected class” boxes as Harris.
  21. The most important job a politician has is to get elected. By definition, anybody that wins is the better politician. I just don’t understand why the Rs re-nominated a loser.
  22. I saw somebody on Twitter say (and I apologize if I’ve said this already) “I’d vote for Joe Biden’s head in a glass jar before I’d ever vote for Trump.” There are a lot of people (and I’m afraid that it’s actually MOST people) hate Trump that much. All they need is somebody who can fog a mirror to vote for and the Ds will roll.
  23. If it keeps trump out of office? Yes. This is what happens when you try to appease a small majority of the Republican Party and flip up double middle fingers to the rest of the Repubs and 100% of the undecideds and democrats. You elect the worst possible democrat, because they can. Michelle Obama leads Trump 50-38 among likely voters. All she has to do is say “I’m in” and it’s over. Could Trump turn the corner? Perhaps if he selects a vp pick who isn’t an election denier… which he won’t. He’s gonna pick somebody that makes the red-hatted fools cheer. The Dems played this so intelligently.
