"Lock her up." Trump started it. Don't cry because it's happening to him, now.
-
And that's the problem. When your strategy as a party is to say "who cares about the popular vote? We just need 270 Electoral College votes to win" you might get an election or two, but then the fact that the majority of voters don't like your candidates will lead to you sucking hind tit in every national election going forward. Sure, you'll win governorships in places like Montana and Oklahoma, but all it's going to take is texas turning from purple to blue and it's over for many, many years to come in the popular AND electoral college. By your own arguments, all it takes is a few thousand people from Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona deciding they've had enough of Republicanism and you'll never win another presidency. Getting elected President is pure likability. Romney was a good candidate, but Obama was more likable. Hillary somehow managed to be more unlikable than Trump, so she lost. Biden is a goof, but he's more likable than Trump. GW Bush was more likable than either Gore or that walking cadaver John Kerry. Let's face it, McCain is exceptionally unlikable. But for some reason, Trumpers think that they can somehow "will" the most unliked politician in recent history into the Presidency AFTER HE'S ALREADY LOST TO A SORRY OPPONENT LIKE BIDEN! You can be as mad as you want, but we're not the same country that elected guys like Nixon, Eisenhower, etc... And nominating a guy who's completely incapable of winning the popular vote is just a bad plan, especially when you tried it four years ago.
-
And he should explain again that Joe Biden getting more votes is proof of fraud because Trump had bigger rallies and sold more merch.
-
Even Trump has “adjusted” his take on election fraud. [Hidden Content] “Even though it wasn’t true, it’s what I believe(d).” I expect ALL of you to follow your Messiah’s lead before and toss in a disclaimer when you give statements about widespread election fraud. You should probably start doing the same thing when about Trump’s own election interference, of which there is actual proof, indictment(s), and likely soon a conviction. “it was my opinion that there was nothing wrong with that phone call to Georgia… unfortunately the jury didn’t feel the same way” and “Although I was wrong, I believed that Trump was not responsible for what happened on 1:6.”
-
I just call them as I see them… I’m not blinded by my allegiance to party or man.
-
No, you’re the one that said Pence was a traitor because he had the authority to count whatever votes he wanted and name Trump the President. And before you argue that he could “postpone” and give time for Trump attorneys to find evidence of fraud… no he, didn’t. That 1/6 date is set in stone unless amended by Congress… and that wasn’t going to happen. AND they STILL haven’t found the first shred of tangible evidence of widespread voter fraud…. So I guess Pence would still be postponing the counting today, huh? If Pence had the authority to choose the President on 1/6/21 as you claim, then Kamala must be the one who picks the next President in January of 2025, too. “Well, jeez, CB… when you explain it like that….”
-
Suffering from dementia, or some other kind of cognitive decline.
-
You’re the guy that believes that Kamala Harris has the constitutional authority to pick the next President.
-
Now that it’s been proven that election fraud never happened and it was all a big lie, why would a reasonable person vote for the guy who is still claiming the election was stolen on today… almost three years later, no evidence was ever found, people have admitted they were lying when they told trump there was proof, his own attorneys were disbarred for lying, etc… but even today trump is still lying about “fraud.” I’ll tell you why… he needs the votes of simpletons who still believe the election was stolen.
-
I get where you’re coming from. I can’t, in good conscience, vote for someone who was willing to destroy our democracy to remain in power after losing the election. 1/6 should fundamentally disqualify a candidate… you shouldn’t need laws that say “after you allege fraud without proof and try to stop the peaceful transfer of power, you can’t run again.” The people themselves should handle that themselves by no longer supporting the guy. I’m too young to remember a groundswell of support for Nixon to run again in 1976, but I’m pretty sure that there wasn’t one. And what Nixon did pales in comparison to what Trump did after losing the election. I’m not saying that it’s wrong to question the results of an election. But when there is no evidence, no one should be sending fake electors, pressuring the VP to change electoral college votes, pressure state election official to falsify returns, etc… there’s saying “wait a minute,” then there’s what actually happened after evidence of widespread fraud wasn’t found. That’s my problem with the whole scenario of trump running again and enjoying widespread support from so many voters. What he did should have disqualified him with reasonable voters.
-
We’re on the same page, sir.
-
He’s run twice and ended up losing the popular vote. If the plan is to elect a guy that over half of the country can’t stand, it’s not going to work very many times and the whole thing will fall over on itself. Instead of finding somebody that will appeal to more than just the hardcore ideologists, we keep a guy that most people can’t stand and won’t vote for. It’s insane. Donald Trump should t get any Republican votes after the way he treats other republicans. But old white dudes who wish they could walk around and act like trump won’t have it any other way, and it’s not only cost us in the last three cycles, it’s setting us up to suffer for years to come. The idea that “dems are bad so we need somebody more hateful than them” is just stupid. Literally all you need to win is someone more likable than Biden. But we’d rather nominate trump and lose.
-
Oh, it’s not about support… it’s about me disagreeing with the sheeple but being right… even if I’m alone. I’m wagering on whether or not I’m right when I say “Trump will not be inaugurated in January of 2025” and other people saying “oh, yes he will!” And if you already know trump can’t win, why are they still pushing for him? That’s just straight loser mentality.
-
Where’s your money, Sir? That wager stands. Show some support for your guy… put your money where your mouth is.
-
That’s what’s so ironic… you say all of the right things, but then you refuse to apply them to trump. Simple question… once someone tries to stop the peaceful transfer of power after losing an election, should they be allowed to run again? WAIT. That shouldn’t even be a question… we should be taking out our own trash, not needing laws to say “this guy shouldn’t get another shot.” Was there a horde of Republicans supporting Nixon to run again in 1976? No… he’d already shown what he was about, and the things he did were NOTHING compared to Trump’s antics after losing in 2020. It was despicable, and he gets a pass from morons. The mindset problem in this country can be defined by one man…. Go back to 2016 when Trump was lobbing Sleepy Jeb/Lying Ted insults at his fellow Republicans. It was so out of the ordinary and definitely a change in politics. Fast forward to today and it’s “I’m I’m going to come after you,” “Mike Pence is a traitor,” “Ron Desanctimonious,” impeachments, indictments, lawsuits, jail time promised, etc… and it can all be traced back to “lock her up chants.” Trump is almost entirely to blame for the negative attacks that go on in the US today. The turn for the worse started with him. “But they’ve been after him since day one!” No, Trump was threatening Hillary with jail before that… it didn’t happen, though, lol. Just more Trump lies. Anyone that will vote for Trump again lacks character because they support a man that has none. Personally? I couldn’t vote for a coward that went to Florida instead of attending the inauguration. But then again, I’ve got character. He’s a vag.

C'mon, hippy... you make sure I get banned for days without even breaking a term of service, but guys can cuss me up and down and they're still here posting. Your bias is showing again.
-
That’s what YOU need to do. Most Americans don’t want Donald Trump to be president again. Pick somebody else, or lose. Those are your options. And you know I’m right or you’d have taken me up on my wager last week. If losing suits you, vote Trump.
-
Then only people mad at Biden are the ones who listen to conservative talk radio all day and haunt message boards for like minded Trumpskins. BUT most of the country hates Trump. That’s a fact, and if your plan is “we’ll nominate the guy who finished up 8 million votes behind who last time and cross our fingers he turns it around in 2024” you deserve whoever eventually gets elected. You know I’m right.
-
Y’all can’t answer the actual question. Why is trump leading among Repubs despite being the embodiment of everything that conservatives supposedly oppose? Law and order? Repubs are all about it, unless it’s trump whose breaking the law. Trump is a piece of crap.. that’s beyond dispute. The only question is whether his supporters are just fools, or are they pieces of crap, too?
-
Trumps disapproval is at 56.4%. FROM YOUR SOURCE. [Hidden Content] Clowns.

First, there is not “Trump over Desantis” argument to be made over the general election… and that’s all that matters. The question is, all polls aside, who won in 2020? Biden, by 12 to 14 points depending on how you prefer your beat down described. Secondly, has anything happened to GREATLY CHANGE the minds of the electorate? No, there has not, other than the constant stream of criminal acts coming from Trump. Not eight years ago when Obama was in office, but since 2020…. Nothing has changed to bring trump’s approval up. Biden’s approval doesn’t matter because nobody is voting for Biden, they’re voting against Trump… and if anything trump is more hated now than in November of 2020. So how does that translate into a win? Where else can you try the exact same thing and expect a completely different result?
-
As always, “The Biden Crime Family” as the title implies consists of exactly three charges against Hunter Biden… two for tax evasion and one for toting a firearm. On the other hand, you’ve got the twice-impeached, three-time (fourth pending) indicted, 0-200 in civil cases, beat down in three consecutive election cycles, often bankrupted RAPIST named Donald J. Trump. Yeah, y’all are backing the wrong horse again.

I know you guys are all about victim shaming, but the rest of the country isn't. [Hidden Content] That makes the score Trump with one win and about 150 losses in the courtroom at this point.... if you count it as a "win" when Trump's lawyers got a judgment for their fees against Stormy Daniels (the porn star with which Trump cheated on his wife) for their fees only... trump didn't win a nickel. Talk about a clown show. 1. Trump pays prostitute/porn star for extramarital sex. 2. Porn Star decides to sell her story to the media. 3. Trump Attorney Michael Cohen pays "hush money" to said porn star, err..... "adult actress." 4. The whole world finds out about the affair anyways 5. Trump Attorney goes to prison and gets disbarred for using campaign funds to pay said prostitute "but not for Trump, wink, wink..." 6. Trump gets indicted for the same thing in NYC in 2023. Trumpskins: "he's the best president we've ever had! MAGA 2024!!!!!

They're both made up lies.... you just choose to believe the one that props your guy up. That's stupidity at it's purest. And it's each and every one of you. confirmation bias, people's tendency to process information by looking for, or interpreting, information that is consistent with their existing beliefs. This biased approach to decision making is largely unintentional, and it results in a person ignoring information that is inconsistent with their beliefs.
