Like puppets, lol. I’ve got to hand it to the Dems… they’re playing their hand masterfully.

Because without Trump, Biden wouldn't even be the President right now. None of y'all can ever recognize that outside of like-minded people such as yourselves, a large majority of people will not vote for Trump. They voted against him last time. Nothing has changed. And your answer is "we'll just nominate Trump again and see what happens." I fully recognize that we've never had a president who holds such strong support from his supporters. The merch sales, the rallies, the fervent devotion in spite of all of the proof of criminal misdeeds and abhorrent behavior, he still enjoys tremendous support among the minority of voters who support him. But just as real and even more importantly, we've never had a president who has so many voters who are abjectly opposed to him.... willing to do ANYTHING to make sure that he isn't elected President again. The problem is that Trump's supporters are so myopic that they can't even imagine a sane person saying "I don't like him... I'm voting for the other guy, no matter who that is." To ignore the fact that the majority of voters have repeatedly said "anybody but Trump, or anyone like him" in 16, 18, 20, and 22 should tell you all that you need to know. But it doesn't, because Trump's supporters are a part of what is called a "cult of personality." And a person like myself is labeled all kinds of ways because I don't just ignore all of the facts and get in line with the rest of the Trumpers. The difference between isn't our political beliefs. It's that Trump's supporters don't believe in anything except Trump himself. It's why "conservatives" will ignore his spending and economic record. It's why business owners will ignore his failures, bankruptcies, and lifestyles financed on credit. It's why "Christians" will whole-heartedly believe that Trump was sent here by God to save us from those demonic Democrats.

You're on the right track.... Trump can't win, and that's why the Democrats/Liberal media are talking about him so much. They're making sure to keep the nutjobs fired up and solidly behind Trump so that no other Repubs get nominated. They're counting on the Trumpskins to rally around and make sure Trump is on the ballot in '24 AND to guarantee that Dem voters and moderates show up to vote against Trump. If there was another "R" option, those votes might be up for grabs, but with Trump on the ballot those votes are guaranteed to be for "I don't care, as long as it's not Trump." I honestly thought that the Rs might turn on Trump by this point and we'd see Trump as the 3rd party guy, knocking the R candidate out of contention. I guess I gave a lot of people more credit than they deserve. At this point I don't think you'll see conservative victories in the next 5-6 election cycles. They're officially the party of the out-of-touch old mean white guys than nobody under the age of 40 will ever vote for, period. Trump voters are literally the BISD voters who keep trying to get the school board re-populated with folks who will to rename the stadium after Butch Thomas. Think about it.

Made up BS? You can hear Trump in his own voice trying to get the AG to "find the votes" in the exact number Trump needs to win... He'll be indicted for it shortly.... and it's still made-up BS. What ever happened to "why wasn't anybody charged for the insurrection?" You sure shut up about that after people started getting convicted for seditious conspiracy, didn't you? What will you be saying about Rudy when he flips in the next few weeks? The whole wide world is wrong about Trump. We should all ignore the evidence that keeps being placed in front of our lyin' eyes, right? Y'all are sad.

When you have nothing positive to say about your own candidate... attack the other guy's family? That's not a winning strategy, you know..... right?

A vote for trump is like cashing in your retirement and your kids' college fund to bet on Lumberton Raiders to win the football state championship in '23... and then telling everybody else how stupid they are for not supporting the locals like you do.

Me, picturing our d line that averages 185 lbs anxiously waiting on this answer.

[Hidden Content] Trump is going to get creamed by Biden in the general. 56% of voters say “I’ll never vote for trump,” but here we are with trump leading all others for the r nomination.

It’s like this… you can look at impeachments and say “witch hunt!” You can look at 1/6 and say “but BLM riots!” You can look at rape charges and say “but Hunter Biden!” You can look at unemployment and a devastated stock market and say “but COVID!” You can look at the nonstop string of insults and say “but he’s sticking up for us!” You can look at his ignorance of the bureaucratic process and say “but he’s an outsider!” You can look at his corruption and say “so what? He donated his salary!” You can look at the fact that he lost both houses in 18 and then the presidency in 20 and yell “I bet they cheated!” Or you can face facts and realize that your idol is actually a piece of crap.

I think as a president it’s a tossup… if you ignore the performance of the economy-then Biden wins hands down. My personal feeling is that Biden is a better man than Trump in regards to honesty, Christian behaviors, and the way he treats friends and foes. But at the end of the day you have to look at electability. Is anybody going to argue that Dole was a better politician than Obama? Was Kerry a better politician than GWB? At the end of the day, it comes down to results and Biden sent Trump packing, and is poised to do so again. We all know the definition of insanity- it’s trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Yet here we are, about to nominate trump to take on the same guy who did him up three years ago and expecting a different outcome.

No, but a vote for trump after all he’s done shows a complete lack of character on the voter’s part. But I’m sure there’s been a deficit your whole life.
-
I didn’t vote for Trump in the primaries… only in the general. It won’t happen again. No offense, but I’ve got too much integrity and dignity to stoop down and vote again for a man that in no way deserves to be President. He’s a foul person and proven to be a horrible president. “That’s the same thing as a vote for Biden!” Yes, it is. And I’m fine with that as long as Trump doesn’t get elected. And I’m not alone.

I'd offer what the Appraisal District says it's worth... that number is too high according to everybody on the internet. -
Lemme get this straight... there aren't any D linemen left over from the CT era? They might have been right to drop the Chain Gang name when they did.
-
The real waste is going to happen in the primaries. If Trump gets nominated as the R candidate for a third time when we all know he's going to get his cheeks clapped in the general election, who's really stupid? The people who vote for Dem candidates with bad policies that actually get elected or the people who vote for R candidates that have no shot at winning in November or 2024? Both are morons, if you're trying to figure out the answer.
-
Trump's policies were better.... the fact that he lost is proof positive that he wasn't the best choice as a presidential candidate. The fact that we're about to put him out there again knowing that he got smoked last time, things have gotten better in practically every aspect of the economy, and there's been nothing but insurrections, indictments, investigations, and insults since the 2020 election points to one obvious fact... He's not the best choice for 2024. You might as well pencil in "Ronald Reagan" on your ballot because the ghost of the Gipper has just as good of a chance at winning as Trump does. Dick Cheney would have been the best president ever, he just couldn't get elected. Trump is in that boat now, too. But if you'd rather waste your vote on a guy that can't win for "principal," nobody is stopping you. Just don't poke yourself in the eye with that pencil when you're in the booth.

1. The economy was in much better shape when he came into office by every single measure. It was so bad that even an imbecile like Biden has been able to turn it around. 2. Trump got impeached twice. That is something he’s the best at, I guess. Getting impeached. 3. He’s in real legal trouble across the land. where’s the lie?
-
Yes…. But I wouldn’t have made that choice if all of the low information conservatives hadn’t nominated him over 17 other better candidates. Why am I the only person surprised that he ran the economy into the ditch, got impeached twice, and is fighting to stay out of prison now…. But y’all put your hands over your heart, wipe a tear from your eye, and say “dagnabbit! He’s the best president we’ve ever had!” Then y’all nominate him a third time just so the Dems can keep the White House. But you think everybody else is dumb.
-
Does this kid have a brother with whom he’s EXCEPTIONALLY close?
-
The only difference between Trump and Biden is that Biden gets low-information liberals to vote for him and Trump gets low-information conservatives to vote Trump. They’re both geriatric and corrupt.

Yup.... lives in BC. -
I made a business decision. I was thinking that it would be dumb to get sick and drop 10k on copays/deductibles when they give the vaccine for free. Plus my parents are elderly and early on we thought it would stop the transmission- turns out it didn’t.

The guy who it's named after now seems deserving, no complaints about him... I just wish their reasoning for renaming had some merit. The Left on reparations "You can't just forget about the past!" On renaming things and tearing down statues "We need to erase all traces of the past!"
