These were a bunch of white kids at the party.... they usually talk.
-
You're just proving what I said. Where's the description of the suspects? What kind of vehicle were they driving? Why aren't there choppers flying overhead and dogs on the ground? Why haven't all of the citizens of Jasper been posting non-stop with wild allegations like happens every other time it happens? If KJAS posts about a car wreck with fatalities, somebody would be posting about how it was a white honda accord involved. Not this time. Now, I realize that based on Jasper's history, a Japer man like yourself might not want the notoriety that came with being a part of that mess in the 1990s to come back around. But you have to admit that the handling of this incident is not what you'd typically see after a mass shooting incident.
-
See? NORMALLY when there's a mass shooting, they have descriptions of the cars, suspects, tell the public to be on the lookout (or not to be worried). It's radio silence from the authorities and the community. A guy got stabbed in Trout Creek a month or two ago and people were steadily commenting about who probably did it, etc.... Not a word from anybody this time.... Despite 11 people getting shot. Something fishy is going on. How do you have party attended by 250 kids, somebody(S) hops out of a car, shoots 11 people, then drives off.... and nobody even says what they were driving? It's a cover-up.

"BC - cannot be our right DC; needs one win or Vidor to lose for Co-DC; cannot be lower than second" That's not what you said. BC needs both to happen.
-
Help me understand. Vidor is 9-2 BC is 8-3 If BC wins, they’re 9-3. If Vidor also wins, they’ll be 10-2. How would they be co-champions? Same scenario if BC and Vidor both lose… Vidor would be a game up. I think it’s “and” not “or.”
-
We need a win AND a Vidor loss, for co-DC, right?
-
Religion aside, I don't want to live in a world where someone else has a say in whether I live or die. Who's going to make that call? Your loving wife who has a man on the side? You devoted children who might stand to benefit from an inheritance if you pass? A hospital/nursing home administrator who wants to harvest your organs, or maybe save losses incurred while caring for you? What about a bean counter from your insurance company (or the government, if we make it to single pay)? Take religion completely out of the issue... and I still think it's a really bad idea.

Neither did Glenn Beck or Bill O'Reilly. Can't say much about where they've been lately. Not on primetime cable, that's for sure.
-
Ummmmm..... because he just cost them 800 million for spreading lies, and was a complete jerk to everyone in the building, apparently. Also the fact that, while his ratings were good, high-profile advertisers refused to have their ads ran during Tucker's program because they'd undoubtedly fact backlash every time he blasted on his dog whistle or just outright lied like he did regarding election fraud. His program didn't generate advertising revenue like a show with that type of ratings typically does.
-
It's amazing to me that there have been no reports of who might have done it, what type of vehicle to look out for, etc... No arrests made, either. But the community doesn't seem to be upset at all, either. It sounds like one of those Jasper situations, wink, wink....

You’re missing the point… why is it legal for the ultra rich to pay no income taxes, and more importantly, why are middle class and lower class Republicans cheering the fact that the ultra rich don’t have to pay taxes like the rest of us do? That’s brainwashed. And we should be joining with the Dems to make sure that guys like CEOs pay income taxes on the millions of dollars that finance their lavish lifestyles.
-
You don’t understand. People pay income taxes on money they earn. Capital gains taxes are a type of income tax that’s paid when you sell an asset. These guys don’t claim income, they receive stock. That stock isn’t taxed as income OR capital gains because they really haven’t sold anything, yet… we all still agree, right? The problem is that these guys take out LOANS (which aren’t taxable) against those assets and use the proceeds of those loans to buy jets, yachts, and mansions without paying a penny in income taxes like I (and I assume you) have to do. If your argument is “yeah, but good for him. I wouldn’t pay taxes if I didn’t have to, either” then you are delusional. My guess is that you’re probably one of those people that got really mad that most poor people don’t pay any income taxes.
-
The fact that you post this (and I assume believe it), then have a handful of like-minded people "like" your post indicates how badly brainwashed that you all are. Patriots back in the late 1700s started a revolution over taxation by the British. In 2023 you have "Patriots" who are cool with the ultra rich not paying anything while the rest of us do. That's when you know you're dealing with morons.
-
I didn't say anything about the political beliefs of the rich people who aren't paying ANY taxes like the rest of us do. This is how you know that we're ALL stupid on both sides of the aisle. You have poor people on one side voting D because they want more handouts, then you have poor people on the other side fighting so that a select few rich people don't have to pay taxes, in hopes that some of the crumbs might come their way. Your argument is that it's perfectly okay (not legal.... but okay) that we have a guy with multiple golf resorts, hotels, mansions, and a jet airliner of his very own that pays no personal income taxes? But you'll turn around and argue about people on welfare getting EIC payments? It's baffling. We have a progressive tax system where (in theory) people who earn more pay more taxes on the higher portion of their incomes... except the ultra rich pay nothing, and you're cool with that? Because I'm not.
-
Wrong.... they're on the right side of the fact that the ultra rich aren't paying taxes like the rest of us. If you have your own jet with gold faucets/fixtures, yet contribute NOTHING in personal income tax, that's not right... even if it's legal. If Jeff Bezos has enough dough to build the largest yacht on earth, yet pays NOTHING in personal income tax, that's not right... even if it's legal. You can't get republicans to admit this, though. More importantly, Democrats can come together and get legislation passed and create fundamental change. There's always a Rand Paul, John McCain, etc. waiting to stop any potential legislation that Republicans supposedly want. Kinda like all we heard for years was "Repeal and Replace," but when the Rs held all of the cards they took a swing at it, failed, then said "well, we tried.... how about more tax breaks for the rich?"
-
In my best Lester Flatt/Earl Scruggs voice(s): "Sooooooo, we loaded up the truck, and we moved to Sils-bee...... Smoketown, that is... parked trains.... used cars. Y'all come back now, ya heah?" Don't forget to tip your waitresses. I'll be here all week.
-
There are some people who believe that when a police officer is involved in a shooting, he should go to prison, without fail. I think it's obvious that we've got a couple of those here. The fact that the shooting occurred is all of the justification that is required for the city to pay out millions, too. They walk among us.
-
You'd be one of those people who go around the crossing arms, get hit by a train, then sue the railroad and the engineer because "nobody deserves to be hit by a train."
-
Yeah.... this is another area where I think the Dems just get it wrong. You did all of that "good" work with Title IX and then destroy womens' sports by catering to the cross dressers. They claim to be the party of women, but obviously chose the "T's" when it came down to women vs the Alphabet Mafia. Kinda like claiming to be party that supports minorities, but they really don't have an answer for the Latino population. If you're black and broke, it's oppression, privilege, systemic racism, 400,000 years of slavery here in America, etc... If you're brown and broke, they really don't have an answer for you.... other than "you need to support our black brethren."

An update on the Fraudulent Election.

It always makes me happy when people/corporations are punished for deliberately misleading us. It's not that they had an opinion piece.. they repeated the claims as abject truth, and once it because obvious that there was no widespread election fraud, Fox and the Trumpers continued to double down on blatant lies. You can see the risk of those lies by how easily the bulk of posters here were brainwashed into believing those lies, and still believe them today. It's not smart people like me that are at risk, it's the simpletons who are at greatest risk when a trusted news source spreads outright lies as truth. -

I just think it's comical how all of the talking heads have now admitted that they were lying about election fraud, either because they were disbarred (Rudy), settled defamation suits, etc.... but the believers are still over here like.... -

You don't have to repeat yourself four times just to prove that you're not lazy.
