  1. Ol' Chuckles was pretty liberal with those "allegedlys," wasn't he? That means the same things as "I had my fingers crossed."
  2. They didn’t find that one? All that means is that Trump still has it hidden someplace. What about the other boxes of classified materials strewn around the resort? Those don’t matter anymore because Trump actually destroyed (or still has hidden) one page? Stop listening to whackos.
  3. Alright…. Which one of y’all wrote this? [Hidden Content]
  4. Will bone spurs keep you out of prison? Asking for a friend.
  5. The fact that he’s still the leading candidate of the Republican Party is even more ridiculous.
  6. Crawfishing? Go back and look. I said after 1/6 that Trump would spend the rest of his life in and out of courtrooms and he’d be lucky to stay out of prison and y’all all thought I was crazy. I understand that it hurts when our heroes fall, but y’all need help. Step one is to stop listening to talk radio (or at least keep it to 12 hours or less per day… and seek help. Find a psychiatrist that accepts Medicare and STOP TALKING when you get there. He/she won’t care about Hunter’s laptop, either. There’s no reason to spend your golden years angry because Trump is reaping what he’s sowed.
  7. Which arrest was this?
  8. Some are, some aren’t. I felt like the first impeachment was a sham. The second one had some credibility, although the timing was suspect-impeaching an outgoing President. … not surprised that the Republican Senate didn’t convict him. The first indictment in NYC is also a sham, IMO. The pending 1/6 federal investigation is a “maybe” in my book, but what’s going on in Georgia over claims he tried to interfere with the 2020 election is a legitimate problem. This one ( mir a lago docs) seemed a little witch huntish until they released the indictment. I think it’s got merit, IMO. I know it’s not popular to think for oneself around here, but I try.
  9. Once smacked in the face with the truth about the Presidential Records Act, y’all will all start crying about how just illegally having (and hiding) those docs isn’t a violation of the Espionage Act. 37 counts, up to 536 years in federal prison, all of his attorneys quit because he screwed them over, too…. But at least the mouth breathers on the message boards still have trumps 6, lol.
  10. That is simply not true. Do you mind pointing out anywhere in the presidential records act where it says anything about a former president’s right to possess top secret and or classified documents? I’ll give you a hint-it doesn’t. I asked Reagan the same thing earlier (and even gave him a link to the document which he had obviously never read) and he disappeared, too. You won’t, because you can’t. Somebody else said it and since you agree with their misrepresentation, you started repeating it. The truth is that the Presidential Records Act says that all presidential records belong in the custody of the national Archivist when the president leaves office. I’ll be waiting.
  11. Go read the act. Let me know which part says it’s okay for the President to show top secret docs to reporters. Or the part where it’s okay to store them in a shower, or his personal residence. [Hidden Content] i mean… I see this: “Establishes that Presidential records automatically transfer into the legal custody of the Archivist as soon as the President leaves office.”
  12. All these clowns… they have no idea what they’re talking about, they just know for certain than trump didn’t do anything wrong. When faced with proof of criminal misdeeds, all they can say is “but what Biden, blah, blah, blah…” None of y’all can admit that Trump screwed up, even though Trump himself said “I screwed up.” You still won’t believe it.
  13. Ok, so when Trump told the reporter “I’m not even supposed to have these” he was wrong? Y’all so badly want for Trump to be right on this one that your arguments are getting more and more unhinged. If Jessie Waters is right and the DOJ is wrong, then a judge will clear the air. Regardless, if trump doesn’t understand the law as well as Waters, then the right guy for job got elected in 2020.
  14. Here’s the thing… there’s never any proof of those allegations “oh, yeah? Well Hannity has an unnamed source that says that he heard from a computer repair guy that there were Hunter Biden was trying to get parking tickets fixed. Biden should be impeached!” If y’all want to start a thread to talk about Biden’s (or even Hunter’s) indictment(s) or impeachments(s) if that day ever comes, I’m down. But until then, shut up about it. Trump get indicted…. “Let’s not talk about this indictment, let’s pretend Biden got indicted and talk about that instead.”
  15. I don’t know… but a big part of me says that you-know-who should probably never again have top secret clearance. And the American voters should take care of that. Unfortunately most of Trump’s loyalists can’t fog a mirror, so I guess it’ll just need to play itself out. The Dems are playing the rs like a fiddle. They’re just making sure that trump voters don’t lose interest in him, because a vote for Trump is a vote for Democrats in power. And boy, those Trump voters are motivated today.
  16. Bingo. Not a single democrat voter cares about whatever Hunter Biden is doing. I doubt that many (if any) independent voters care about Hunter Biden, either… and that point is lost on Republicans. They think that Hunter’s laptop is Trump’s golden ticket back into the White House. Seriously… one of Joe’s sons died young and the other is an obvious screwup. It makes him sympathetic to people who can see him as human, not the enemy.
  17. I was kinda wondering what kind of fishing expedition they were on when they found the docs. It makes sense now. They already knew what he had because he’d been showing them to reporters. Then he had an aide move a lot of the boxes before he even let his own attorneys inspect them. He left his own attorneys in the dark-it’s not surprise that they quit on him today. 37 counts! It’s not just that he took them by mistake, he took them, described them (and the illegality of him having them) in his own voice, showed them to civilians, and tried to hide them from the feds (and his own counsel). This is bad. Nothing may come of it, but it’s bad.

  19. HONESTLY, the representation in Congress is working as designed. The problem is when the same party keeps winning the presidency despite not being able to muster enough votes to win the general. Let's say that you have those handful of large states won by landslides for Ds with 97% of the vote in those states, just for argument's sake. Then pretend that the Rs manage to squeak by with razor thin margins in enough smaller, purple states (51-49% wins) and suddenly you have a president elected with roughly 27% of the popular vote. What happens then? Red states just saying "oh, those are the rules." Nah, there would be bloodshed. The electoral college isn't being decried by the Right because it's benefitting them. You wouldn't be nearly so smug if YOUR party was turning out millions of more voters but losing elections. The Ds literally got 10% more votes than the Rs in 2020, and the demographic shifts aren't working in the Rs favor at all.
  20. Trump couldn't even win the popular vote in 2016, then got hammered out by Joe and Kamala in 2020 in the general and electoral... not counting the Rs losing the House, Senate, etc... but now he's going to win? Here's the problem. Every day the obituaries are full of Trump Voters who will probably not make into heaven because they were hypocrites and voted for that buffoon....and every day thousands of people turn 18 (or cross the border) and vote for "anybody but Trump." It's only going to be worse this time around. And if you foolishly believe that Trump got robbed in 2020 and NOTHING HAS CHANGED, then how is Trump going to win this time?
  21. Good post... It's the reason that I've almost completely tuned out of any tv/radio coverage anymore. I hit the headlines and then research whatever I'd like to know more about... I don't need opinions from the talking heads. It just takes the fun out of life.
  22. The rules are the rules… it’s how we elect Presidents. But it does make you wonder how long a “democracy” will stand when the will of tbt people is ignored. It’s hard to crow “Trump won in a landslide in 2016” when he didn’t even win the popular vote. If every vote really counted, he wouldn’t have been president.
  23. Quickly! Condemn the source!
  24. So your belief is that Trump did nothing wrong despite having top secret/classified information at his residence? Because even he admits that he what he did was illegal. [Hidden Content] He literally showed classified/top secret docs to a reporter and stated "I'm not supposed to have these, but they prove blah, blah, blah...." He's a clown. Always has been, and with the help of a few million other morons he became President. The only problem is that clowns don't stop doing stupid stuff... Like showing top secret docs to a reporter "to prove a point."
  25. Biden's only chance is if Trump gets the R nomination. If Biden picked a different VP, he'd win by a huge margin over Trump. Trump will be the next Republican candidate, I'm almost certain. But Trump will lose to ANY Democrat, even Joe Biden if he makes it to November. That's what is so stupid about the whole scenario.... Any number of Republicans could beat Biden if they were nominated, except the Republicans are going to nominate the one guy (Trump) who has repeatedly driven millions of people to vote for "the other guy." Since Trump squeaked out a win in 2016 and became the unofficial "head" of the Republican Party, the Rs of " have come up short in 18, 20, and 22. Why do you think things will be different this time around?
