Y’all keep saying “tax cuts! Like Reagan!” Yes, those cuts led to some instant gratification.. and they led to a ballooning debt which forced Bush to raise taxes in 1989. Trump didn’t work miracles for the economy… he just borrowed a lot of money and passed it around. The balance is still due, btw.

If l you ever realize that inflation is caused by deficit spending… which is caused by cutting taxes without cutting spending… your head will probably explode. y’all are trying to rehire the guy who steered the truck into the ditch, and blaming the wrecker driver who pulled the thing out of the mud without having a full-fledged recession. Trump’s plans for more tax cuts will add more to the debt than Kamala’s spending. Every economist out there recognizes it. Even Elon admits that Trump’s plan will wreck the economy.

We finally got a decent coach, opted up, and are hanging with the best in the district. Y’all hired a state championship level coach and guaranteed that he’ll never go to Dallas again. Heck, he’s only gotten out of the first round what? Twice? In your best years you can barely beat us.

I was surprised that HH wasn’t a level up over LCM-that’s what I expected. even if y’all drop your game next week, you’re assured co-champs and a one seed.

You know, I agreed with what you’re saying up until voting started. The trend indicate an exceptional turnout, but a lot of it is in areas that would be considered “safe” Trump country. My reading of the tea leaves says that it gonna be close… very close.

My problem with Ted is that Trump literally attacked Ted’s wife’s appearance in 2016 and Ted still supports him. That’s some major beta energy. I mean, if Ted didn’t feel comfortable socking Trump in the mandible like deserved, then the very least he could do was to have said “yeah… I can’t support that guy” (Trump). But that would be political suicide because all of the Trumpers would never re-elect a guy who won’t kiss trumps big fat rear end.

It’s just funny to see people who refer to others all day long as libtards, dims, dummycrats, etc… then cry like little girls with skinned knees about somebody else calling them garbage. “but the president is supposed to be better than us!” followed by “oh, that’s just trump being trump” when he does something reprehensible AGAIN. I think Trump wasn’t talking about having Cheney executed, but rather calling her a war hawk and saying that she needed to go hold a spot on the line somewhere since she is so much in favor of war(s). BUT, his phrasing and imagery was horrible (as always) and he did it in Arizona… a battleground state that I believe he lost in ‘20 largely due to his attacks on McCain. He just won’t stop shooting himself in the foot.

Are you really gonna talk about decorum from a President while supporting the guy who effectively has no such decorum? Just last night the former president (and would-be despot) was in Arizona talking with Tucker Carlson and fantasized about Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad… after calling her dumb, of course. Trump didn’t just “defecate all over the office of the President”…. He is a piece of excrement.

Voting straight ticket isn’t possible in Texas anymore. you have to fill them all in individually. You voted for Allred, didn’t you?

The debt problem is bipartisan. Both parties are complicit. It’s a way bigger problem than anything else we’re facing. But “conservatives” today are like “i don’t care… I just want to pay little to no taxes and somebody else can worry about our debt.”

But Trump didn’t cut spending last time, and hasn’t mentioned doing it this time. That’s why Kamala’s plan adds less to the debt than Trump’s. At least she’s trying to raise taxes to offset these current high levels of spending. Cutting corporate rates, no taxes on overtime or tips, etc…. Where will he make up for the lost tax revenue? Tariffs? Those will be passed directly on the consumers/taxpayers. None of us pay enough to support our current levels of spending. Expecting to have your taxes cut is just greed, plain and simple. Do you know the difference between people who vote for politicians who promise gifts vs the people who vote for unsustainable tax cuts? NOTHING. They are the exact same… willing to vote for a turd in exchange for a larger tax refund.

It was already exploding before COVID hit. I’ve provided the figures before… do you want me to go find them again?

The debt exploded and the inflation we experienced was a direct result of deficit spending that occurred on trump’s watch, plus the spending on Biden’s watch. Saying “you can have it all if the rich and greedy corporations paid their fair share” is a lie…. And so is “we can cut taxes-you can keep more of your money and the debt will shrink.” Hundreds of hours of advertising, speeches, etc… and nobody will even mention attacking spending. Because freeloaders on the left and right will make sure you don’t get elected.

That time is already here. We cant afford to say “well, let me keep my money and let the kids worry about spending cuts when I’m dead. That’s what the boomers did and look at the mess we’re in. That $2200 social security payment won’t mean a lot when a loaf of bread is $100.

The long story made short is that trump’s plan will add more to the debt/deficit than Kamala’s by any explanation. Does that mean your taxes could go down? Perhaps. But I’d definitely means your dollar won’t be worth what it is now. Promising to cut taxes is no different than promising to increase entitlements. It’s just pandering to voters when we can’t afford it.
