  1. I think it has more to do with the beat down we put on those coo-guhs a few weeks ago, and for that all of Cardinal Nation apologizes.
  2. I hope it doesn’t come off like I’m wishing bad outcomes on Coach Hickman… my irritation is directed at the admin and people in the community who used everything available (including unproven claims of racism by CT) to make the swap.
  3. In 2015 Jack Dallas was their third option at qb got them a ring. That’s not genetics alone, that’s a system. You can’t win with athleticism, hard work, or coaching alone… it’s a combo. It’s not luck that LCM picked up Peevey and started playing actual ball. WOS will be good, but great is still a big question mark. New coach has some big shoes to fill and my money says that WOS fans will regret hiring a coach solely based on a single qualification that has nothing to do with scheme.
  4. Well, for starters it was most important that the kids have a coach that looks like them.
  5. I'm torn... we always rode bikes, go-carts, dirt bikes, tractors, and even cars long before we got our drivers licenses. But it definitely seems like a lot more kids are getting hurt these days.
  6. Is it just me, or am I the last Card fan here? Wait... it would be just me then, wouldn't it? Good to see all of the LCM newcomers, though. Isn't it amazing what a little success will do for your bandwagon?
  7. I see this being a close one with both coaches entering their sophomore year at their new schools. 🤥
  8. There were way less than that. A large portion of conservatives like myself held their nose and voted for Trump but not because we support him. Maga is a minority.
  9. If only we had a cell phone picture of the theft. Maybe a video? How about some documentation? Trump's rallies were huge, but he still got molly-whopped. The average (sane) person doesn't buy Presidential merch and go to rallies. Trump supporters are nowhere near a majority. They're literally a radical fringe group.
  10. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] Most polls have Warnock ahead.
  11. Any relation to the greatest WR to ever come out of Southeast Texas by the same last name? JK..... I know the answer. Never knew this about the Old Man, though. It's impressive.
  12. The more I think about it, I might have had the story wrong. I was there, but that's been years ago. I just remember that the Tigres lost at Homecoming to HH and it was remarkable.
  13. Edit... You can go back a week or two ago when all of the Trump supporters were on here bashing Beto and saying how he was unfit to be governor because he said "mf'er" in a campaign stop. I literally posted a clip of Trump saying the same word, along with a whole host of other swear words and NONE of you would condemn Trump's use of the word. He's still presidential material, lol. All fascism takes to thrive is an electorate that is unwilling to hold their leader accountable for his misdeeds- and that is the most accurate description of practically all of Trump's supporters. There's always an excuse. "yeah, but he always puts America first" or "yeah, but he was so good with the economy" or "but he doesn't even take a salary." We all should have held him accountable early on. He put on display the very first debate behaviors that should have disqualified him from serious consideration. Republicans and Trump supporters (two different groups, btw) ignored the warning signs and all of this has come back to bite us.
  14. Kinda like when you call all of the facts that I quoted garbage? Just because you don't like them (because it reflects poorly on your Messiah, Donald Trump) doesn't make them garbage. That's a reflection on you. What did I particularly say that was incorrect? I mean, I get that the satire about the armbands is opinion, but the rest are indisputable facts. Why do you have a problem with facing facts?
  15. Every word of it was true... but that doesn't matter because it was derogatory of your Dear Leader so it gets dismissed.
  16. I never understood the Caneyhead thing... it's not bad at all as evidenced by the fact that a lot of people kinda low-key brag about it. "My grandma lived in Caneyhead and we spent a lot of time there growing up. So you could kinda say I'm from Caneyhead, too." We lived in Leggett/Seven Oaks for a while growing up. Nobody even wants to admit that they're from Leggett. It's just different.
  17. I'll take this one.... you have a large part of the electorate that support one person... not a party, not their country... their allegiance is to the Donald. In Don they trust, lol. Trump's supporters believe lie after lie at face value.... but any article/story critical of their leader is instantly assumed to be garbage, questionable source, a smear campaign, a lie, or a combination of all of the above. But they will believe any lie told by their dear leader if it comes devoid of a single shred of evidence-such as the evidence of election fraud that was promised but never delivered, his followers (like Unwoke) will still believe with all of their might that Trump won the 2020 election... despite zero evidence to support the lies, the subsequent disbarment of attorneys (like Rudy) that perpetuated the lie, etc.... He still won. If you ask about about the events that we all watched on 1/6, they come back with "that was Antifa and the FBI" or "but did you see what happened the summer before that?" They are incapable of recognizing any fault in their dear leader. Good Christians support a foul-mouthed whoremonger and claim that He was sent there by God to protect us all from the liberals, lol. Fiscal Conservatives crow about tax cuts while ignoring the debt that ballooned on his watch. People who campaigned and voted based on promises to "repeal and replace" suddenly decided Obamacare wasn't such a bad deal after Trump couldn't get it pushed through a Republican controlled Congress. When Trump says horrible things about women or treats them badly (Rosie, Megyn, etc....) good men stand silent because they can't bring themselves to admit that their leader might have a fault. Trump even called Ted Cruz's wife ugly and nobody (except Democrats) called Trump out on it. When Trump lost the election in 2020, he and his followers attempted to stop the peaceful transfer of power by any means necessary... baseless lawsuits, repeated lies in the media, a foolish attempt to substitute electors, and even an insurrection that was intended to stop the process.... Even yesterday Trump was talking about how based on what Zuckerberg said, we need to throw out the old election and have a new one, now. And nobody is calling him out for being insane. [Hidden Content] The red maga hat truly is the new Nazi armband.
  18. Here’s the problem… with all of those true things about the democrats that you just stated, the Republicans are still on the verge of losing again. How do they end up losing when the deck is rightfully stacked against the Ds this cycle? By continuously aligning themselves with the most hated politician I can remember. And y’all can all stop yelling about Trump being “America First.” That’s not a reason to vote for somebody. There has never been a politician more “country first” than Adolph Hitler… y’all act like it was every Germans duty to support Hitler because he obviously had Germany’s best interests at heart. y’all just like a biggo bunch of Nazi sympathizers.
  19. Trump will get annihilated by any Democrat… Biden, Harris, Buttigeig,Pelosi, Clinton …. At this I believe Jimmy Carter could still whip him.
  20. I would agree with you completely three months ago… Roe v Wade being overturned will bring out lib voters. The student loan debt cancellation will probably encourage more people with debt to vote in favor or more relief. If gas prices were still high and climbing it would be bad for the Ds… but they’re dropping. COVID has waned. And all Republicans can do is spend their time defending Trump instead of hammering Ds on the issues. Moderates don’t care about Mar-a-Lago-heck, they probably just assume he did something bad-he’s kinda earned that rep over the last few years. I can even tell from the tone of the posters here that there’s a feeling that we’re limping into the election like the ‘93 Oilers at Buffalo.
  21. The IRS should also show the canceled loans as income, but I'm sure that they'll do the same as they did when they decided after-the-fact to make Covid Unemployment payments exempt from taxation.
  22. [Hidden Content] Latest polling indicates that The "Red Wave" predictions might have been a little premature. It appears that the Dems will likely retain control of the Senate but mention a much more murky path towards retaining the House. But the margin of victory IF the Republicans hold on is now predicted to be less than ten. So much for the complete return to congressional prominence by the Rs. It's everything from Herschel Walker falling on his face in Georgia to decreasing gas prices to a general public that is just sick of all things Trump. Week before last the Republicans were all rushing to defend Trump after the "political hitjob" by the DOJ and FBI at Trumps residence. These days the Republicans kinda look like those people who rushed to support Jussie Smollet after he was attacked in Chicago. The average American voter has had enough of the garbage. Trump needs to just go away, but here he is today calling for an uprising within the FBI. Yeah, that's just what the masses want... More headaches from the Don. And Republicans keep aligning themselves with this clown is the scary part.
