  1. Whatever you say, Pops… there’s nothing manly about getting getting beat on by a chick. Unless your into that type of thing.
  2. Don’t get it twisted. If ANYBODY lays their hands on me, they can expect to get one back. There’s no super-secret force field surrounding somebody because they have a vagina. Would I ever get mad and slap a broad first? No way. But hit one back? Without hesitation. If you taught your daughter “boys can’t hit girls” and she thinks she’s just gonna wail on one of my sons, she’s gonna get up rubbing her cheek, guaranteed.
  3. Other than firearms and livestock, I can't think of another reason to hit up southeasttexas.com.
  4. When you hit a man, you've officially stepped off into a man's world. If you're lucky he doesn't clean your plow. If he does, you had it coming. Too many girls are taught that it's "ok" to hit boys because they can't hit you back.
  5. I would say the part about trying to usurp our election process and destroy our tradition of a peaceful transfer of power with a violent attack on the legislative body to stop the certification of electoral votes after losing the election qualifies as "wanting to be a dictator."
  6. Don't leave out the part about her trying to bust into the House Chamber as part of a violent mob... some of whom were there specifically to target Speaker Pelosi, VP Pence, etc... Can you think of another country (or even planet) where trying to storm the seat of power with bad intentions for the officials there where you WOULDN'T expect to get shot in the face? If you tried to attack your local courthouse as a part of a violent mob, you stand a good chance of getting shot. That's why nobody is upset about that lady... if you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
  7. Oh, and to answer the question that kept being asked "who has been charged with sedition?" They finally got around to that this week, too... is it an overreach? Probably. Is it political theatre? Definitely. Is it all one big lie about Trump supporters? No, they really did some horrific crap that day and there's no excuse or comparisons that will make reasonable people ignore it like y'all do.
  8. Don't get me wrong... i think the hearings are a waste of time and an obvious attempt to distract voters from inflation and crime which are real problems today. But videos of people bashing cops with sticks and fire extinguishers isn't propaganda..... that's an indictment of people who still claim that January 6th was not a big deal. It was an attempted coup by a recently deposed leader.
  9. .... that there was a prime-time Congressional Hearing on every major news channel last night regarding President Trump and the attack on the Capitol on 1/6/21.... And none of y'all have started a thread to discuss. Truth still hurts too much, I guess.
  10. I've obviously never been in Robb Elementary, but practically every modern commercial/industrial/educational building has a suspended ceiling... What would stop a swat team or whatever from scaling an interior wall and making entry that way? Even if this was impossible in Uvalde, would a tactical unit consider such an attempt to breach that way under barricaded door circumstances?
  11. SUPPOSEDLY the ISD chief stopped cooperating with the Rangers.... but I honestly don't know. I'd assume the FBI or somebody has to be looking into it by now.
  12. THIS! I'm still seeing people post blatantly false narratives on their fb feeds. I wonder what kind of clown gets up and decides "I know, I'll just start making stuff up about this current event." It's the lamest form of trolling that there is.
  13. I think that the annoying part is that people keep looking at so-called "evidence" as proof of a conspiracy. "How did the kid have the money to drive a loaded F250 and buy two ARs and a thousand rounds? GEORGE SOROS, that's how!!!" When in reality the kid was in a clapped out F150 and worked at Wendy's up until a few weeks ago, supposedly. I don't know where he got his cash. Grandma's credit card? Stimulus money? Maybe he's just a saver... he had obviously been wanting an AR pretty badly. The fact that he purchased one isn't proof that there's some big conspiracy, Dale Gribble. But I also expect major credit card companies to consider halting business with gun shops. I'll be curious to see where the $$$ came from if they ever tell us.
  14. I read where the gun manufacturer "partnered" with a firm that encouraged an expensive "buy now, pay later" program. It's not specific to gun stores at all and the source had no idea about the specifics of this purchase-just that the manufacturer might encourage credit purchases through a third party. But if he used a credit card, isn't he still buying on credit?
  15. I’ve always been impressed by the fact that 4% of the slaves shipped out of Africa actually made it to the US… and history indicates that the LUCKY slaves were the ones who made it here when compared to the fate of the 96% that ended up elsewhere. But we’re the only one accused of the “original sin.”
  16. It’s so laughable. If you read the article, slavery was never even legal in California. They’re literally trying to justify paying reparations for something that never occurred. Slavery was legal from 1836 to 1865 in Texas. Less than 29 years, but the talking heads will tell you that nothing that happened in the centuries before before or in the 157 years since Slavery ended matter… all of this was was “built on the backs of slaves.” It would be funny if they didn’t actually believe their own nonsense
  17. This! We agree. So, since we can’t rely on government to fix the problem, who else can EXCEPT gun owners? Literally every mass shooter got his weapon from a person who originally was legally allowed to possess it, and most of the time the shooter was legally permitted to have it. So, the best way to stem the tide is to make sure that they stop going from the good guys to the bad guys. But you’re going to have to have the cooperation of the good guys to make it work. Kinds like with suppressors.
  18. Lol… if you interpreted a threat in anything I said then you definitely shouldn’t be allowed to own a gun.
  19. Okay…. What about our churches and grocery stores? Both of which have been shot up in the last two weeks? What about outdoor concerts and nightclubs? Resource officers aren’t the solution. It’s a good start, but definitely not the fix.
  20. Y’all are all right. Even though gun violence is now the leading cause of death among kids aged 0-19, we don’t need to do a thing. “Not an inch.” [Hidden Content] Not cancer, car accidents, those “home invasions” that Lum keeps pissing his leg over, drug overdoses, drownings, snakebites, getting struck by lightning, choking, or drowning… gun violence. Up 83% in the last decade, but we can’t do a single thing about it as legal gun owners, right? And if you really believe that nothing should be done, you’re gonna get your feelings hurt in the very near future.
  21. You know, I’m tired of beating this old dead horse. I say we just agree to disagree and we’ll take it up in a week to two when it happens again.
  22. I’m the one that realizes my kids weren’t special. You don’t realize that you could have easily been a parent standing over your kids casket unable to process a suicide. Or out in front of your house talking to the news about how junior was never like this and you can’t believe that he’s done this awful thing. You don’t grasp that in today’s world good fortune has about as much to do with your kids’ success than your “skill” as a parent. Stop patting yourself on the back and thank God above for sparing your ungrateful behind what a lot of other parents have gone through… parents who were just as confident as you are. To answer your question (again)… if I buy a good guard dog, say a Rottweiler/Pit mix and he chews my kid’s face off… it’s not the dog’s fault, right?
