  1. What all players have homeruns for the season (including pre-season) in the seTX area?
  2. Which Roebuck? The older one or younger one?
  3. Hmm. A toughy. Well I think it all depends on who is pitching for who. Smith from nederland threw tuesday, so if png pitches Harwood or Powell then I think the indians have a chance to take this one. If Harwood or Powell is pitching, I'll say png 3 nederland 1...
  4. Nice, who's the first playoff game against?
  5. Ahh the pirates came out and won one finally...I was beginning to believe they gave up. Does anyone have any details of the game?
  6. I was at the game as well, great pitchin from sophmore Taylor Robichau, then Jay Nixon comes in with a runner on 2nd and 3rd and gets a ground ball back to him and 2 strikeouts. He got those last 3 all by himself. Morrison had a nice triple then Thurman to follow with a RBI single to score Morrison for the first run of the game then Newton singles to right to get the 2nd run in. Also there was a pickle play with 2 outs that got the 3rd run in. Great execution. That's how the game is suppose to be played. One of the most exciting games I've been to in a long time. Timely hits when you need them the most and great defense and pitching.
  7. Here's an iilustration for you all, if you take a great coach and give him the Bad News Bears, how good do you think they are going to be? It has to be a combination of the two. It can't be one or the other. Or look at it this way, you take an average coach or a football coach and give him a great group of athletes that know what to do and get it done, then they have a playoff bound team easily. But a combination of the two, there's no telling how far they can go. That's just my perspective.
  8. great things can happen when a team can score 45 runs in 4 games...besides vidor is a very much improved team this year.
