  1. Where is saying "all the other BS HF has done this year" not bashing?
  2. Hey now, I thought we weren't here to bash teams/coaches? Back on topic...Oh,wait..that's your job
  3. Here are some comments about his last start: Joe Reardon: He walked 18. Larry: New league record! Joe Reardon: Struck out 18. Larry: Another new league record! In addition he hit the sportswriter, the public address announcer, the bull mascot twice... [Joe laughs] Larry: Also new league records! But, Joe, this guy's got some serious stuff! "He's got a million dollar arm, but a five cent head..."
  4. Here you go fellas, got you a little something for times like these... To make this topic related, hope HF rebounds from this loss
  5. My biggest was an 8.13 on June 8, 2005, at Tiger Creek on Big Sam. My dad's is a 9+ (can't remember the fraction) at the Big Bass Splash 2 years ago at Big Sam on Caney Creek. Won $1000 too
  6. great post for everyone that thinks that hf is the only team in the united states that shows emotion on the field...i have personally witness the EXACT BEHAVIOR from bc and of...but i dont see anyone putting them down like they do hf...so why is it that people have to point out the bad in one team WHEN SEVERAL OTHER TEAMS DO IT AND YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THEY HAVE..so you and the fifty other people that feel the need to post off this crap about the program and the coach..can keep trying as hard as you can..but i promise you one thing its not gunna get inside there heads of hf..there strong and they have a cause thats driving them..so lets see what happens Welcome to what happens when you begin to take time in the limelight...People find things to try and tear you apart and bring you out of it...One of those things you have to keep out of your head when you're out there on the field.
  7. This weekend (April 17-19)
  8. Will be there in full force been looking forward this one a long time.
  9. the astros couldn't beat a rented mule
  10. From what I recall Coach Landry has a career w-l at 60-39-1...with playoff trips inall but one of them (as it looks, this year he will have another trip)
  11. Apparently they haven't watched Major League...They need to give Jobu his rum and sacrifice a live chicken 8)
  12. Well alright, on topic, bc won, hf lost... Hf had it's second guy tossed while landry's only had one that I know of
  13. Gave at least I was speaking the truth, if you delete the truth at least delete the bs I corrected
  14. They need to keep their emotions in check and mouths shut, need to be perfect to beat bc...
  15. Any word from that way yet? Or just getting under way? Btw, is kellog the transfer?
  16. you must not have seen it prior to the 2003 season, when it was 265 all the way around and the height you see in left and center was also in right.
  17. Was that a joke ??? If you didn't want anyone's opinion then why did you start this thread? Everyone has their own opinion just like you. HF will probably win 3A vs 2A, but does it really matter it isn't a district game. So good luck to both teams. Good point, what it looks like is to see how many people are going to kiss up to HF and tell them how great they are...I am pulling for them since I'm an alum, but I don't like it that when asked for predictions and you pick the underdog, you get ragged...
  18. ^ but wins in conference do nothing for you except give you a spot in the conference tournament (I realize you have to win enough games to even make it) and bragging rights. It really matters in the tournament begins...So tu can have the games at disch, I'd rather take it in the post season.
  19. I recommend finding the birds...then you'll find the fish.
  20. Congrats to Ross and the Hales family.....and the Ags, there I said it. ;D ( That's for HornDawg ). I know that was more for Ross, but wow, but that's a big step for a horn to talk positive about the Ags How's everything going at Angelina? Is Eagle jr getting some good playing time? I'm working on it, Horndawg. ;D You should have seen me Saturday night @ Minute Maid......surrounded by a sea of Maroon. ;D Everything at Angelina is great. AC finished up pre-conference play yesterday against Cedar Valley. Finished non-conference 14-9, after starting 1-5. "JR" has already thrown 30 innings ( 5 starts and an inning in relief ).... 3-1 on the year. Coach named him one of the home starters for conference....6 of 7 of the games are on Saturdays. That's great news...I'll get to see every game he throws this year. That sea of maroon was a beautiful thing wasn't it? ;D As far as Jr, congrats on his behalf. Sounds like he's doing well and making a name for himself. It's great you'll get to watch most all of his conference games. I'm sure you'll be able to keep the stats updated so we can keep up with the progress correct? I know you have thusfar, just making sure there'd be no slacking up as the season gets into full swing.
