Tell us how you really feel... : To Lag, this guy has been sour towards the team all year, nothing new. He has to get on here to talk bad about the team, he can't go talk to his son's coach to try and work things out. And to be completely honest with you sportsdadd, I can tell you that Coach Landry does not play kids on their parents ability to whine to him, he puts the players in the places he feels he'll have the best chance to win... I don't know what your problem is, but hating the coach and others because your son didn't start sounds juvenile to me. Everyone on the team has a role, and just because your son may not have the role you want for him doesn't give you the right to put the other team members down. If you think you can do better, go apply for a coaching postition.

Now, if we can just do that for the next 6 games and beyond.

True, free throws killed us, but for others to say that you don't get late calls, go back and watch the UCLA/Stanford game when Stanford was up instead and they cleanly blocked a shot with just a little time left and guess what...FOUL!!! UCLA got two shots and won the game. People making the argument about not getting calls in the last seconds are full of it and have no idea what they are talking about. Uncalled for? Maybe. Unsportsmanlike? Nah, I don't find it unsportsmanlike. You have to think, at that point of the game with your adrenaline pumping,knowing you are about to win, you lose yourself and do something to end the game with an exclaimation point. Personally, if I was able to dunk and had that opportunity, I probably would have taken it too. They didn't need the points of course, but you can't blame the guy for wanting to end the game with a highlight for ESPN. But it never would have happened had we got the foul call.

Thank you for posting those lonestar, I was trying to find them myself but was unsuccessful due to my google not working. Now, I would like for anyone to try and tell me that wasn't a foul and explain. Are there any other fellow referees out there? Would you care to tell me what your call would be? about 4 seconds or so in the game when this took place.

I'm beginning to think there's a conspiracy theory working in favor of UCLA. First, Stanford, then USC, now my Ags. Kevin Love was getting away with MURDER underneath and then not to mention the last play when (I blieve it was Sloan) got his arm absolutely HAMMERED while he was going up for the shot. That was pathetic. I know, I know, A&M missed free throws (that has killed us all year) but that still doesn't mean that we shouldn't have been given a chance for OT. I make a notion that staff delete this thread all together, for the Sain's sake. And so people will stop about all this nonsense. This is about the most ridiculous stuff I have ever read, its personal opinion and it is going nowhere because everyone feels what they think is right and no one else matters. To be winning 4-2 in game three of playoffs of your senior season, having an umpire blow an obvious double play that your blind uncle could have called, that would have ended the inning, but the blown call leads to a 6-run, two out rally, and lose 9-5.

This game was not the one that makes or breaks playoffs, so how about everyone get behind them and pull for them to make a playoff run instead of trying to tear this team apart. How about we try that for once? Get behind the Lady Hons and stop being so negative about the Sains. I realize that commitments are commitments and everything because I was brought up to finish what I started and don't dare quit because I didn't think I was good enough or just wanted to give up. But, it's not like this was a play-in game to make it to the playoffs or anything. There are still plenty of games to be played and there is time to make this week up. Before you go on about "well this could be the beginning of the end", don't even start with me about that, I know that these girls can play just as fine when they all get back and on the field together.
