Fair enough. Is this the year that makes or breaks Herman for you? Or not quite?

Been a little while, figure I need to get back in the saddle and see what has and hasn’t changed around this place.

Let me first thank you for your brilliant insight to our school that you seem so fond of, looking into what the “latest at Texas A&M”. For a non-rival, we sure seem to eat up quite a bit of space in your dome. For me, that “place of higher learning” has opened doors that I’d never believe possible, if you’d have told me while I was there, that I’d be where I am these years later, I’d have called you a liar. But I’m proud of what my diploma stands for and proud of where I come from. You can berate it all you want, doesn’t matter, I still am where I am. But let’s not lose sight, we are working to turn over a new day in Aggie football. We’ve had ups and downs, but you make the comments you do because you know you see it, and those fans with half a brain know it too. Please spare us on the admittance requirement, I could hammer you back to the Stone Age with some of the geniuses that have graced the 40 Shady Acres. I hope for your sake that your Mensa coach is turning things around this year otherwise I’m going to hate reading your pure pissed offedness that turns into you watching A&M second by second and you letting us know what’s happening. So in that regard, good luck to you this year, but remember, we aren’t rivals, “your school’s people” said so.

As Long as They Said "Howdy" First

You say and post this as if such events haven't happened at a school 90 miles southwest of College Station. Not that it makes it right or any better, but that stone can be tossed right back... -
What we're finding out is that Johnny made Sumlin's job easy for two years...Now, the longer he hangs on to Spavital, I'm questioning if he's going to be able to get the job done. He's definitely improved the program, but it's steadily slipping away from him.

One thing that concerns me is how bad we looked against the run vs Arky. One thing I'm not as concerned with is the offensive woes. Pretty sure between Kirk, Seals-Jones, a healthy Speedy, and josh Reynolds that we'll be able to put up some TDs. Today we find out what Chavis has.

Hoping for Charlie's sake his guys show up today. Don't wish bad upon him as I feel he's trying to do the right things for texas. We'll find out shortly

#21 Missippi State at #14 Texas A&M...AGGIES WIN 30-17
horndawg replied to PhatMack19's topic in College Sports Forum
wut? You will not but you did? Pretty good win, hope we continue to play just good enough to pull out W's -
well sure you will . You'll be able to walk right down to the front row at the 50 and not be stopped and asked for your tickets

Uhh...'scuse me? [Hidden Content]

Hell yes!!! About dang time we had a decent play call!

I think Auburn will be too powerful over the cards still. I think possibly texas may surprise folks a bit plus I think Michigan upsets Utah. I also have to go with the Ags but they are 3 point faves so doesn't qualitfy as an upset except for they are unranked.

Hope you brought your arm floaties and have good flood insurance on your vehicle

Talk about a roller coaster yesterday. I was glad to see us come out with that fire we did. For the "shoulda, coulda, woulda" crowd that can't stand to see us win, IF Reynolds "woulda" caught 2 passes he dropped (one being a td), then we wouldn't be talking about the fumbles as much. Our team finally showed up for the first time since week one, and hope they continue and finish strong. And to be honest I expected a loss by 3 tds before the game.

Espn was claiming 1400 tickets for sale on their site. Guess the scalpers got their greedy hands on a bunch

This game will come down to who catches the freaking ball. If we hold onto it and Kenny actually makes his throws we'll hang right in there with them. We come out flat for a 3rd week in a row...stick a fork in us
-
Care to tell us where your team stands? The way I see it, we still have 3 big ranked games to go, leaving the door the wide open to climb.
-
I was giving him something he can relate to as he's surely at least heard of the guy. Maybe he's heard of Wilson, just a visible measuring stick.
-
Really thought Arky was a wake up call for these guys, so nice of them to prove me wrong. Oh well the door is wide open still. If we stop dropping passes we might be able to have shootouts but this is why I wasn't close to being ready to fully lean on the D. Maybe ole pi$$ wilh have an off game and boost us back where we want to be
-
Did you see the beating we took? And all the Fran years we had? No reason to abandon them. And by gawd don't go jump on the fsu bandwagon!

I won't be willing to call any unit wcII until they average less than 200 yds/game and are giving up less than 20 points on a consistent basis

How about the points that "should" have been on the board for the Ags from dropped passes, false starts, etc... Like I said in an earlier post both teams tried to give this game away on multiple occasions. -

^ thanks for the back handed compliment. Seemed both tried every way possible to give the game to the other team. Was wondering how this team would respond to adversity. While there's much to improve on, a win is a win. Hopefully this wakes us up and reminds us we can't get lax.
