They better do what ever is needed to complete the transfer. If that means the center drops down to the tried and proven 2 hands on the ball, or the QB going under center, they better get it done. That game against H-J was the sloppiest game I have seen WOS play in many years. (I missed the Kennedale game)

After all the high hikes, I have to wonder. Is our center trying to put the ball up on it's point. like the pros are doing now, and hiking from that position? I don't understand how the pros make it work, especially if the QB is in shotgun. Whatever is going on, it needs to change. Whatever style they need to use, it has to get the ball into the QB's hands.

I was just watching the UT game, and someone pointed out the screwy way they are holding the football, prior to snapping. One end is on the ground, and the other end is in the guy's hand! Unless those centers have really big hands, they are not going to control it like that. I don't know who came up with this style of snapping the ball, but it is NOT WORKING for WOS!

I beg to differ on Cornel giving a post game losing speech. That is funny, regardless of how tough HJ played. That kid might have been #12

Tell you one thing, H-J has one speed merchant on their squad. I think his number is 15. Great ball carrier, with speed.

well, there is truth to that, unless you saw all the mistakes. Such as leaving wide open spaces for the opposing QB to run through, bad snaps, missed blocks, etc.

H-J played a great game. Might be the toughest game WOS has in district play. WOS looked horrible. There were some great individual performance. Chad Dallas did good. He missed one point after, but it looked like someone got a hand on the ball. Chaka Watson was scrambling for his life, with the poor snaps. Cornel is going to have to find a new center. There was several other great performances, but as a whole, it was not very good. If they don't give Watson more protection, and get the ball into his hands right, They need to work on each game. Oh, on their final TD, Cornel put the back up kicker in for the point after kick, but, the snap was not good, and the placer ended up trying to run the ball n, and almost made it, but got tripped up. Hate it for the boys, but they need to rise up to each game and play as they can.
