I think some who read this post will not understand...... But, at P.N.-G, there are plenty of special folks that are deeply rooted into the tradition. Its a very difficult thing to understand unless you are born into it. I.K. was a everyday hero to young kids for years at football games. And his wife was the driving force behind him. Without individuals like this, Those 3 words we live by would not be what they are...... Everyday folks, can make a difference in young kids lives, on a daily basis. These 2 are prime examples. Indian Nation has lost another good one. But I promise one thing, Friday nights are jammed packed upstairs with plenty of Purple and White, maybe even a little gray. Its something that is in your blood......... HONOR PRIDE TRADITION

I would rank it simple. By State Championships. Period. WOS #1 by a mile.

This is what the D word means. Ill break it down how it was told to us... When you are playing a team that has more team speed, more individual speed, more size, and better athletes... (WOS-PAM-KATY-STEPHENVILLE-AUSTIN WESTLAKE-LAKE TRAVIS-Any Dallas team............ Your best chance of beating them is play assignment (D WORD) football. You have a guy, make sure you take care of him, because you simply do not have the means (athletes and speed) to make up for errors. So you better tackle well, cover your gap or space well, block well, and do all the little things that might keep you in the game. And that my friend, is your only shot, when you are up against a better team.... Now Soulja, being Soulja, just gets a little feather ruffled when he sees the D word.... He knows what it means, but just likes to play with us about it... But Soulja, in the name of something.............. (And I wont have BIaplayer cuss anyone)............... We will still buy you a bag of peanuts............

My thoughts are this. Last year would have been a good game against W.O.-S. and P.A.M. If both teams would have been at full strength, (hypothetically speaking)... I would call it a toss up. What one needs to understand, is that P.A.M. has the same speed as W.O.-S. But what they have that W.O.-S. does not have is depth. That could very well be the difference. While coaching goes to Cornell, which could make a difference. P.N.-G. has played W.O.-S. every year, minus last year with little success. However, they have been decent games, with a few that could have been won by P.N.-G.. Both PAM and W.O.-S. are a cut above P.N.-G. when it comes to size and speed. With all this being said. I would always rank P.A.M and W.O.S. among the top 3 teams in the area, with a W.B. and a few other in the mix from year to year.

Amazing how the UIL lets all this happen. Watch the SC games and almost all the D1 kids have played for a few contenders in their Hs careers....

Hughes and Riggs and Stansbury... the sophomore at RB might be a good combo. Stansbury will be much better on that side of the ball. It's a good move and a matchup nightmare.... offense will be fine... Hopefully we can work out some things on the other side of the ball...

I agree, it would have to be some crazy, high scoring, pull it out in the final drive... Kinda U.S.C. vs Texas V.Y. thing. I expect PAM to win.

Nederland #2? That is a Homer pick for sure. I did not see much talent last year. QB situation is undecided, but whoever gets the job will not be a game changer. I do agree with PAM at #1.

Probably not real good. we have a killer soccer team, gotta be a leg out there we could use...........

The advantage in the Playoffs is simple. Coaching comes into play. These teams only have a few days of prep to get ready. With the skill players we have returning, We will have a chance in every game we play. College Station was legit, and we hung with all the injuries we had, and a Frosh running back.... If we can bend and not break in the right situations, we will always have a chance.. District stats mean absolutely nothing, the bigger picture is get into the playoffs and see what we are made of. We are not State contenders by no means, but on any given day, we are scarier than HELL.....

I was around the water cooler a few days ago and that is the info I have obtained. I have also heard rumors of a GOFUNDME account being setup by ESNFP Tech to help with the book situation. I have emailed Hillary on the tuition situation!
