I am taking on all trash talk today.... Lets get it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jake if you where around in 94... You know the answer... Hang your hats on the last 6 years.. That is about all you can hang it on... The issue I have is that all you Nederland fans post like Nederland is the greatest program ever... Far from the truth... LN has made it to where Nederland is a district contender.. So for some clown, (Mayfield)... to get on here and make a post about Nederland having tougher kids is a joke... And PN-G kids being overpressured is a idiotic post... He claims, Nederland or Legacy, or whoever... Do not question the toughness and talk about a community, that honestly he has no clue about........ And 3 State Championships and 6 appearance in that game is about as far from a Mediocre program that I can think of....

That is almost like a TRANSPLANT comment. Larry Neauman is good at one thing. Winning District games. He has made Nederland above average versus a doormat in the district. With PAM in 5A, your not going to see the athletes from PA like you have the last 10 years. Pressure on PN-G, is because we have won multiple State Championships, Multiple District Championships, and so on. Do not make yourself think Nederland is some type of powerhouse. The bandwagon over your way is just happy because over the Neauman era, Nederland has finally become a winner. And by no means is Nederland some pressure built team that goes deep in the playoffs... Matter of fact, PN-G has gone further in the playoffs, than Nederland has in the LN era. And yes, Nederland has been tested, only because. of LN and a horrible move to play a PAM kid...... So do not for one second, think anyone cares about poor Ole Nederland..... Injuries are part of football. Deal with it..... Your right, only the strong survive... And PN-G has been surviving and winning for a long time. SO believe this.... At the end of the day, Its game on................ So let me ask you this... Who do you BLAME for nothing but MEDIOCRITY is the history of Nederland Football???????????????????

Well Rob. Its like this. I hope Vidor pulls off the win. I would not mind a 3 way District Championship. But I just do not think Vidor is in the same league as PAM. Good luck to the Pirates.

R.J. is the best player on the field... And he will be for the next 2 years as well... If you stop him, you win..... If you dont.... You will sit at home..................

So here it is...... PN-G has the horses in this game to win. Both on offense and defense. Offensively, just stay patient and do your thing. Eventually things are going to work.... Neauman and Company are going to take away something.. If they spy, thats advantage PN-G. Defensively, PN-G will need to be able to adjust to whatever Monte throws at us. And I am quite sure he will have something gimmicked up to throw us off. Nederland has the horses to win this thing just as much as PN-G. The x factor on the whole game is RJ... Unlike years in the past, this kid can Beat you in multiple ways. He will be the best athlete on that field..... So on paper, once again, you can make a case for PN-G.... But Nederland has the X factor... Ole Larry Ballgame.... If i was BF, I would go out, call my game, and try to beat LN doing what we do.. No onsides kicks, 2 point conversion attempts, gadget plays. Play smart, and mistake free...... If I was LN, I would make PN-G one dimensional if I could...... Load the box, spy on the QB, and make the kid beat me......

Seadog, my honest opinion is this... Vidor has not a single chance unless PAM suits up the JV squad. Your offense is nothing nobody knows about. Vidor keeps talking people are not used to playing it. Well, it doesnt matter.. Load up the box, get a lead, and its game over. Vidor has no speed compared to PAM. Vincent will stop anything that gets into the secondary. Its all false hope. I honestly think its the same ole VIdor that got lucky and beat a banged up Nederland in OT, after Ned missed a chip shot to win it. Nothing to do with mighty PNG. Just the facts. Vidor is a average team that will make the playoffs and get a early exit. Just like the rest of our district with exception to PAM. Keep the dreams alive, not bashing Vidor, just stating facts. Almost means nothing. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. PAM will bring the house every play and has the horses to stop it and run it down if you do get loose. Vidor will run the same shifty offense against bigger stronger faster kids, I wish Vidor all the luck in the world. But PAM is the TRUTH in the district. Get ready..............

I think this thread shows one thing.... Back in the day, it would be nothing but trash talk... Now, well, we all know whats going to happen... I think we have even accepted it.... But rest assure, if the impossible happens, I will let everyone know about it next week.. If not, Ill be missing for a year.. Again........

IMO, and i speak it alot... PNG- has had the better team 3 of the 6 years of the streak. You have to think, Doty was a preferred walk on at Oregon behind Mariotta.. Morse played last week at Lamar.... We have had some good athletes come through.... Mistakes and coaching have been the achilles hill.. Like I said, hopefully BF can get over the hump.
