  1. Hmmmm... Gonna be interesting... Biaplayer and myself are going to see this one first hand.... Will it be SOulja or BG crying at the end tonight?????
  2. Come on MAN.............. The last state championship game PAT ever sniffed was in the early 80s...... Hell, I was in elementary school....... That's not much of a rivalry game..... I have a few ideas for you.... I will get back to ya!
  3. 1. Beaumont Central/Port Arthur Memorial 2. Liberty/Woodville 3. West Hardin/Evadale 4. Conroe Caney Creek/New Caney 5. Dayton/Humble 6. Beaumont Ozen/Vidor 7. Lumberton/Livingston 8. 4. I just got off the phone with my local congressperson. He/she... Informed me that all this will be taken care of in a timely manner.. He/she asked several questions about the rivalries, and after much explanantion decided to google the facts.. After a day of data collection, emails have been sent to Hillary and Donald.. Because its pretty obvious that MCM is the BEST DAM RIVALRY IN THE STATE OF TEXAS.... Hell, there is even a trophy given out at the end of the game named for Bum Phillips........ So I gave this response............ MCM... That's what I like about Texas...... More info to follow as soon as I get it............... On a side note......... The MECCA cant even claim a rivalry of this magnitude......... Or PAM..............
  5. Wow, that is some serious clicking going on. I looked yesterday and the tally was about 6500 votes down.. Now only 1000 down..... I did see a lot of cars parked at a local house last night... Maybe it was a clicking party, everyone brought their own computer.......
  6. Scrimmages are a joke.. That is why i do not attend...... I guess, I just hoped PAM would bring credibility to the district, Its not too late, but I just don't know.... I take no moral victories.... A W is a W.... Does not matter if you lose to WOS or Manvel...........Its exactly that... A loss....... I settle for wins, not first round exits.... Rankings mean nothing, scrimmages meaning nothing.... Ask Neauman, he plays a tough pre district... And guess what, he has a ton of DCs to show for it...........
  7. Your missing the point.. I never said PNG has played anyone..........................
  8. There is always the guy quick out of the gate............ But I am a finisher............. B.G. get ready, its about to be ON!!!!
  9. I will respond to your comments like this. After watching the teams I have watched, we might be a weaker district than last year. My hope was for PAM to bring the level up, but honestly from what I have seen, thats not happening either. Rah Rahs, are exactly that... Rah, Rahs... I do think Central is poorly coached as well as PAM. I also think they have the most athletes... That does not equate to winning... I was unimpressed with Lumberton last year, even more this year.. That being said, I am unimpressed with PAM as well.. I still think PAM wins the district and Nederland finishes 2nd. As for Vidor, I am just not convinced they are good, much less great.. That offense is hit or miss, and mainly a miss... But spoiler alert, maybe. Its only week 4. Its hard to tell anything. I do know every team in the district needs a ton of work... And I promise, the battle is only uphill the rest of the way. But my last response is this.... I would look in my own back yard before throwing out jabs about other "Athletes".................... Because IMO, nobody is setting the world on fire as of right now........... But a toilet paper win is a toilet paper win........ Do you have any?
  10. Ill help break it down...... Throughout the years we have beaten Nederland throughout all the levels with the exception of 1.. That would be varsity.... This starts at the junior league level. This group has beaten WOS at the junior league level for a STJFL Superbowl... That means absolutely nothing. I have said for years, our STJFL teams are better coached then some others up the ladder. LN has beat BF at the varsity level every year, minus year 1, some with less talent.. He plays a smart game, turnover free, and lets PNG implode.. Until we beat Nederland, I myself, will talk no trash... LN, will make us 1 dimensional.. And its usually the dimension we struggle at for that season... Until you have played in a MCM game, its just hard to explain... My best analogy is this.... Quite often 2 star kids play like a 5 star during that game.. Its just a matter for which team....
  11. No doubt about the 21 points.. Actually may have ended up 18 points since our special team struggles!! However, these are things that can be corrected.. A W is a W, anyway you can get it. Bye week is going to help.. Game time will help as well... Nothing like game reps.... O Line needs to get it together.. That is a coaching issue........... Special teams is a coaching issue....... All can be worked out.............. We need some work on the zone read. It just takes time with the QB and RB on pulling or keeping. Roschon did do a great job of getting on the loose balls.. But the fact remains, we are only going to get better.... I would much rather be sitting talking about improving after a decisive win, vs, losing... It will get better as time goes... Still early....
  12. I am 19-5.. Have Central tonight... Made up 3 games on you this week B.G.... Start getting worried.... We both have Central tonight.......
  13. Everyone has there own take on a game.... Mines usually the non rah rah version........ Offensively, I thought PNG showed moments of greatness, and moments of struggle.... R.J. took over on a few drives, and struggled on a few... For a sophomore, hes a beast.... O Line needs a little work, Lumberton was in the backfield on several occasions.. But overall was above average. Defense played well, still giving a ton of cushion on the corners.. A lot of good hitting from the LBs and safety. They are not the biggest or fastest group, but seem to do a good job of keeping us in the game. Special teams are brutal.... That is the understatement of the week.. Missed FG. Muffed punt.. Missed XP. Kickoffs out of bounds.... WOW... We have a ton of room for improvement. So IMO the sky is the limit. R.J. took over in the 4th. Hes super quick. We could use some work on the zone read, but that will come with time.. For a game 3 we showed some good things. Everyone is knocking K.M... What people need to understand is that his presence is making everyone around him better.. Last year Sullivan looked better because safeties rolled on Giblin.. This year they are rolling to K.M. Lumberton was in a cover 2 all night, until the end when they dropped into a prevent. Play calling was good, my only beef was with the 4th and 3 field goal attempt.... With the special teams issues, R.J. might have been the better choice, but it was the right call... As for Lumberton..... I just cant see them beating PAM, Nederland, or Central for a playoff spot. I think someone posted they are a blue collar team that plays hard. I agree with that.. They did not kill themselves and did not have a ton of penalties and turnovers. Babin made a good adjustment after the half and it resulted in a TD because PNG had to adjust.. Babin made good adjustments after the half, but he knows his kids.. Hes just not working with a ton of D1 talent.. I did kinda wonder why he did not use his timeouts on the last PNG touchdown, but I am sure he knew what he was doing. On the plus, the field is nice and the upgrades sure make it a much nicer place to play.. Props to LISD for the halftime salute to the local first responders. I surely wont beat a dead horse anymore on the Raiders.. Good luck for the rest of the season... PN-G grades are easy for me... Offensive line... Solid C Offense... Solid B- Defense... Solid B Special Teams... Solid D Bye Week could not come at a better time IMO.... We can build off this win and try to get ourselves to eliminate some of the mistakes, and work on special teams every hour of the 2 weeks.......
  14. Yeah... But when he makes comments like that.... He's for real..... Just calming him down... Lol... Don't want to see him escorted out... He is a big ole boy......
  15. pipe down.... Just a internet warrior.
  16. pipe down.... Just a internet warrior.
