  1. Well your favorite rah rah hater is back!! I said last year PNG would compete for the #4 spot and I will say the same this year. I think Crosby and Nederland are locks for playoff spots. I think PNG will need to pick up a win against TC to go in as #4. Defense will be a tad better possibly, but who knows. They are moving kids all over the place, so I expect the same missed assignments as usual. I think the tall sophomore will see a lot of playing time at QB, the starter has been injury prone. Receivers are average and the loss of Reid at RB hurts us IMO. Bost was a very good athlete, and he made up for a lack of a lot of other stuff and had ice water in his veins. I think a 5-5 season will be a success. From what I read we have a great kicker, but when you are giving up 40+ a game, 3 points doesn’t help much. So mark this post for later review. Look for PNG to go in as a 4, or not go in. This my friends is the truth, truth!!!!!
  2. Nederland get back to your own thread. We are not that good, but we beat y’all!! Cry till next year. Larry is gone!!! Back to the game in hand. PNG has 3 ways of winning. 1. Is COVID. 2. Is IPad scandal for a forfeit from other team. Or 3. The world gets shut down. My prediction is 74-6 FB. This will not be much of a contest. Track meet one way, disaster the other. As I have posted all year. We played for the 4th spot and got it. One and done. Don’t be mad at me for the truth. I do not have our defensive stats, but I can only imagine what we give up per game... Sorry Rah Rahs....
  3. He has struggled to stay on the field. Has a great arm, will need some improvements IMO to be a consistent player.
  4. It appears the coaching mentality is watch the guy in front of you and see what he does. Not a real good strategy. I hate to talk bad about a coach, but numbers do not lie. And changing scheme and players week in and week out isn’t advantageous. Hell maybe we should put em in goal line defense every play. One would assume a New DC would be in order. Next year will be a super struggle. Lack of offense, to go with our defense, spells.. Heartache. IMO a QB needs to be found. If not, it will be a long season next year. On the bright side, we beat Nederland!!!!!!
  5. Ok Rah Rahs. Bost is a good High School QB. Not in the stratosphere of RJ. We have some good athletes on defense, they are just lost as a goose. The DC keeps changing things up week to week. But that’s BFs fault for hiring a kid out of school, who had no other experience, than at Chumperton. Last but not least, I said we would compete for the 4 seed, and that’s what we did. We beat Nederland, so it’s not a wash. Issue is the next few years do not look any better, unless BF finds himself a QB. He has a few that have played QB and done great, but he will need to make that change. If he doesn’t, we will be in the same boat for the next few seasons. He has had the opportunity to move a few kids up and finally did this week. But more than likely they will ride the pine. Congrats to the seniors on this team. They have beat Nederland, and in the BF era, that’s success!!!!
  6. Defense is going to be better this week. Look for a ton of improvement.
  7. Man, 6 pages. Times have changed. Ill leave it at that. Nederland by 17. You heard it here first.... Thank me later BG............
  8. If I was grading film, on D, I would give Sullivan a good grade. Offensively, we need severe work. O line is small, needs to work on blocking. Although Bost ran well he was inaccurate. Receivers need a lot of work, but it is game 1. As I have stated, we should try and get better and compete for a playoff spot. I thought Vaughan ran well other than the fumble. The other RB ran timid IMO. I still feel like I would have went for 2 and the win in regulation. But its a much easier call for a coach to play for OT. It should be an interesting season. I look for Crosby, Nederland, and Barbers Hill to compete for the DC.
  9. All the Hate 85... Let it go bro, let it go.. But, I will agree with you. Bost is about the best we have to offer on the offensive side. He looked good running the ball, but passing the ball we are in struggle mode. I will say, if PNG has any hope of contending for a playoff spot, our defense has a ton of sophomores on the field And I guess the hope will be to gain some experience and get better on that side. But in the end, I feel like PNG, as well as Memorial, are playoff contention teams, 4 seed type. As far as United goes, I think it will be a good game. If you take all the rah rah stuff out, neither team is that good. Last week was closer than I expected.
  10. I would have went for 2 in regulation myself. Hopefully PNG can contend for a playoff spot this year. Take away all the mistakes by PAM, it wasn't as close as the score showed. Congrats Memorial!
  11. I think its a toss up. PNG has a D Coord. that has zero experience. So my expectation is the usual on that side of the ball. Offensively, our O line will need to block much better than the scrimmage game IMO. It would not surprise me either way. The key for PNG is to rotate these younger players in and get them some experience. The sophomores in this group are extremely fast and talented, just need to get used to the game speed and a little experience under their belts. I look for a slow start to the season, and by the end, contending for a playoff spot.
  12. Vidor will be a tough out for any team on that level.
  13. I haven't been on here in so long, they let you back on!!!!!!!!!!
  14. It will be a moral victory if we can score.
  15. I have FB by 5 scores. We made it halfway respectable last year because of RJ... But we are inexperienced and our defense is not real quick. I know anything can happen, but this game will be a blowout by halftime and you will see reserves after that. The experience will help Bost and the younger guys for next year.
  16. Freedom of Speech. If you or you friends can not accept humor, I would suggest a chill pill!! No sense in being uptight. There is always next year. I have said nothing that is negative, I have kinda just stated facts, so if I want to make a humorous remark about the mod who banned me, let it be. And if it’s frowned upon, feel free to let the powers that be to take whatever action needed. I haven’t been on here all season because it doesn’t appeal to me because of this. Just figured I cold ruin a few Bulldogs week. Makes for a good McM..... IMO..... Peace . Notice we all opinions including you!!
  17. I just left the local Piggly Wiggly. I spotted a hoodied up older fella talking to Brandon Fairclothe. So I snuck around the aisle behind and pulled a fruit loops box off the shelves and stuck my head in to hear the convo. All I heard was.... Thanks Faircheif, this is a kickback from my son in law, where’s the playbook, if you could have seen him play... Then he left.... So I scurried outside and seen a vehicle pull off and the plates said #uncLNretired... I have no idea who dis may be but it was a serious conversation. If anyone has any info let me know. I went by the local hangouts and it’s all quiet in Nederland today. So maybe someone could help..... Possibly a playbook? Maybe BanDog can help....
  18. Holla if you need some help, can rustle up some from ReMax.... #unclelarry
  19. All powder was organic!! Field was fabulous. Thanks Big Ned for allowing us in your slop. Until next year!!!! Peace!! #unclelarry
  20. Good morning people, hope everyone is having a great morning, I have already parked my Yugo in the nearest ditch to the Bulldog field. Setzers has mud boots on sale BOGO. And PNG just received a pallet full of Tide for cleanup. The trailer behind my YUGO, which is locked, contains all organic Powder. Hope to see everyone at the Mud Bowl. Nederland wins by 7 scores. Gonna bump my letter size a lil bit to see how far I can take it!!!!! Go Barbies Hill!!!!!!!
