I aggree with you 100% Coach Mike............ My statements were not bent toward the new coach but toward the unrealistic posts of that were, well pretty optomistic. I always root for the underdog and always will...... I also always root for SETX!!!!!!!!! I can tell you right now that Lumberton is growing(FAST) and it will not be long untill numbers of enrollment and kids on the ole football squad translate into W's on the ole schedule.......

Actually I think what BigRed said is correct. He was just providing evidence that Freshman and JV wins dont always translate into wins on Friday night in the future. Also I dont think you realize how assenine your calling him a loser is.......... it is actually quite hypocritical, since he just telling YOU that he had the same SUCCESS at the same level of play......

Thanks for the update on the Humble situation. I do definately aggree that Brook and Humble battle it out for the district title(PA will not be bad, actually they will be pretty good LOL). The main point of my previous point of view was that WB isnt getting the respect they deserve. Just wait b/c for the next few yers the Brook is going to be GOOD............. I played their last year, and the new coaching mentallity has made a world of difference.

they are losing Juinoirs though..... When is the last time you saw a full senior 5A varsity football team????? WB has beaten Humble before, its been a while. But dont forget, this is a completely new and dominate football team.

I dont think that people have put into consideration that Humble is losing some of their kids to the new school.

Well Coop, I dont think you could have met a nicer guy than Al Raab. And we all know the story behind that. Most of the kids loved him at the Brook. Thats how it goes though, nice guys finish last...................

Maybe..... but they do seem to be pretty good year in and year out. Although they will be coming into probably the toughest District in the state.

Expect them to be "wowing" people next year in 5A too....................
