WOW... if you read this story and a tear doesn't drop from your eye... then you aren't human... WOW... This is an awsome story... The Coach and players from LCM and this young man especially all deserve a round of applause I think... WOW... This is what makes team sports more than just a game... your a family... your brothers and sisters... or your a father of about 40 kids or so..... your even willing to shave your head just to brighten the day of a fightened boy if only for an instant... LCM.. you guys are champions.... nuff said...

You know... we have alot of girls playing at the NCAA D-1 level from SETX... I think that says alot about the GIRLS soccer in this area too..... kudos to you Kelsie Binetti... the world of college soccer is completely different... but you will still be close to home though... work hard...

... Soccer is the "beautiful" game right???... at least to us passionate players and fans... I am asking this as a fan of the game and as a long time member of this website.... PLEASE... PLEASE... PLEASE... keep the negativity off of this site.. and most importantly as far as I am concerened... keep it out of the soccer part of this forum... People... cant you see that we now have our own forum????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... When I first joined this site I asked and beged and urged the powers that be to create a Soccer Forum... now we have it... Some of you dont understand how important this HS Soccer Talk portion of the forums that we have is... Im calling on all of you.. PLAYERS ESPECIALY!!!!!.. to keep soccer beautiful... by making a clown out of yourself, your school, your peers, and your family on a web site by being a self proclaimed internet warrior you harm the possibility of expansion of an interest in soccer in SETX... If you want to see soccer grow and get the respect it deserves in this area... then you have to portray soccer as a sport that does deserve the same respect and coverage as some of the other sports.... So I am asking all of my fellow comrads to be humble and think before we write on this board... b/c people are surfing this part of the website... and I garantee you that we arent doing anything right now to sway their oppinions on the "Beautiful Game"..............................................

In a losing effort last night in Beaumont.. WB fell to Kindgwood 1-0... Kingwood is ranked by NSCAA as the 7th ranked team in the nation and in another poll is actually 2nd in the nation.... I think this a tremendous accomplishment by a stuggling WB team to hang in there and battle such a prestigious team and fall only by one goal... I am extremely proud of my boys back home... Keep up the hard work boys.. b/c it will pay off in the end... GO BROOK!!!!

I dont know about that... that might be a little far-feched of a statement or idea... I dont think that the powers that be at WB or Central would even fatham the possibility of that happening...

Oh I aggree that Houston has way more talent thatn in the Austin area... the Austin area has some really really really good teams too... the point was.. that those teams from much more developed areas are loaded with a pleathora of talent...

I would love for any of the other SETX Teams to travel over into the Austin area and play some of those teams... the talent level is absolutely rediculous over there... Even Kelly.. I would absolutely love to see Kelly play some of the top teams out of the Austin area...

I dont think it came off in a way that would make you call me a "kid" and say I thats the only way I know end a fight I cant win... thats assenine... this isnt even a fight??.. is it??.. wow... and my statement is truthfull... in all retrospect.. what a coach does to better the program.. or attempt to better the program.. or what ever he may do that he thinks is neccessary... is really none of anyones business unless you are somehow involved with the program(player, parent, etc...)...

I would name names... but that would be immature and in some consideration slander... and if you play at WB or have in the past couple of years... you know what I am talking about... all the kids that didnt participate... that just wanted to be in the soccer class for the credit... got thrown out... I can recall 2 major incidents in the same year involving 2 Starting and very gifted seniors... and they were a continual problem... and Smith through them out... and there have been others too... think about it... and if you dont know.... then its really none of your business???

Its hard to compete with teams that play with more heart than you do... and thats been WB's problem the last couple of years... and alot of those "cancers" you speak of have been thrown out of the program by Coach Smith... I can name you at least 20 players that have been kicked out of the soccer program in the last 3-4 years by Coach Smith actually... and it is true that the talent level is dropping at WB... I have seen it with my own eyes.. ask some alumni or even current players and they will aggree with you... and thats no excuse.. just merely a factual observation...

Coaching isn't as much of a problem at WB than the fact that the WB players are immature and have no heart... I know all those guys and the coach better than anyone else on this board... WB could be a so much better team than what they are if the ATTITUDES would change... To be a winning team... you have to have a winning.. not whinning attitude... The coaching is definately not the problem... One other thing that is going to hurt WB in the future too is that alot of the elite players in BMT are going to want to go to Kelly now b/c they know that Kelly is a great and elite team in the state now.. and WB..well... isnt quite the power house it used to be....

Star Keeper Academy is the best techniqal keeper camp in the nation.... and SMU is pretty good as well... but STAR is the best.... I have attended both and now play NCAA D-II for a school in South Carolina..... those get my vote!!!!!

Why dont you ask Joe Fontana what he thinks about Smith and then post on here....

Sockie is good... probably one of the best if not the best in SETX right now... I dont know about all time though hahhaha... the kid definately has great potential... you guys that know him need to tell him to start going to some of the premier keeper camps during the summer... hes at a perfect age to develope his technique...
