I watched several games over the weekend and there were some poorly officiated games. I saw the Porter coach get ejected for two laughable tech's. I never said it was great, but I thought the championship game was officiated better than the others.

Nobody is on here beating their chests saying Vidor will win district. Nobody from Vidor is talking smack. They are not ranked or getting any POSITIVE publicity. To be overrated, you would first have to be rated. Vidor is QUIETLY winning games, gaining confidence, learning to win and growing as a team. It is a shame that so many haters have come out.

Hey Big Ford, Will Vidor "loose" or will they "lose"?  ::) Before talking too much smack, get to your English tutorials.

HF is turning the corner. They are an athletic team with size, they just don't have a takeover player. It's hard to beat a team 3 times and even harder to beat one for a fourth time. Vidor better be ready to play hard and sharp in order to stay perfect on the year. It should be a great game.

The last game was a lot closer than the score. HF took a 1 point lead with about 4 mins left in the 4th.

This will be the 4th game between the two teams. Vidor leads 3-0, but that might change tonight.

Legacy Christian was missing most of their team due to football. You are right it is a scrimmage and does not mean much. I'm just reporting the scores  ;)

If a kid transfers to a new school (and the parents move/live in that district), he must sit out for 15 days. If a kid moves into a new district and the parents reside outside of said district, he must sit our one calendar year from the day he enrolled (only applies to Varsity, the kid can play JV). That is the UIL rule. He must also have a Previous Athletic Participation form signed by both schools saying that it was not for athletic purposes.

Whatever the situation is...Good luck to Coach Andrews. He is a class act and a respected coach.

Could it be someone who worked the sidelines at Glenrose, Highland Park and Midland?  :o Surely not.

It would have to be a sign and trade. Who would the Mavs give and who would the Cavs get? I don't see the Mavs giving up Dirk, but everyone else is expendable.  It sounds like a pipe dream...but Dirk/LeBron would be greatness.

Corsicana was 0-27 last year. Only one way to go....up. Congrats and good luck Coach Newton! Back to the drawing board WO-S. They have a talented young assistant coach who knows the kids and the system, maybe he gets his shot in the first chair.

Pirates are playing hard and making strides in the right direction. We just can't quite get over the hump.

I don't think you are in jeopardy of losing a game by putting the brakes on when you are up 100-12 at half. ::)  Work on your M2M, you may need it in the State Tourney.

Congrats to the Pirates. Way to hold on down the stretch for the win. I know there was a little more on the line in this one for the Vidor coaching staff  ;).
