Dove HF got blown by 40 both times against WO-S so-called "football players".

BC has beat WO-S 1 time in the last 5 years. How can you say BC usually beats WO-S? They always play us pretty close in BC, but to say that they usually beat WO-S is a joke. BC has improved since Coach Knight has taken over, and they will be better next year. OF will be loaded. HJ and Silsbee will once again duke it out for the District crown. WO-S will be happy to be the darkhorse again. The Stangs will have to replace their two leading scorers in Quest Watson and Donte Green, and replace a two year starting point guard. We'll be young, but more hungry than ever.

What happened to Joey Brooks (#32) from Strake Jesuit? He was awful. He blew it for SJ. You got to know when to quit shooting and get your teammates involved.

You can't put Cleveland in there...way too young. Now the expectations will be high for them next season. And Orangefield...they just ran into a scrappy bunch of Mustangs ;D. They will be really good next year with Hayes, Granger and Evans. Most disappointing would have to be Central. I thought that they could have gone farther with what they had. They just played too inconsistent.

Ozen will be fine. If they hire the right guy, they could be great. They just need to get back to playing for the name on the front of the jersey. I would love to have Ozen's "problems".

How about you test that hypothesis for us.

Wagner does not look like much, but he is silky smooth. I also liked Morris from Shallowater. He is the coach's kid and finished with close to 15 points and 11 assists. Some of you may remember his older brother from a few years ago(now a reciever for Texas Tech). That kid was one of the best competitors I've seen at the tourney.

I am sorry he left Aggieland, but you would have to be crazy not to take that job. Now that he is gone, we don't miss him too much. Maybe he can get together with Melvin Watkins and Tony Barone and discuss the good ole' days.

I could watch Ponder play all day long. Boxell is an amazing coach and his kid plays in that system to perfection.

This game will be followed by HJ vs. Liberty. Should be two great play-off games. WO-S has not faced Coldspring since 05-06 in the Regional Finals. WO-S led by Richard Netherly and Earl Thomas won that game sending them to Austin for the first time in school history. This too has the makings of a great game. Two athletic teams battling it out for a Bye in the Area round. The winner will likely play Silsbee in the Regional Quarter-Finals. Good Luck Stangs!

My man Barry Boren has resurrected that Liberty Hill program. He keeps getting his teams deep in the play-offs. He is due to win that region and this Panther team now could do it. Good luck Coach! And sorry that someone pulled a "Webber". ;D

I highly doubt Sutherland and Co. will lose any sleep over this. And you're right, they can always enroll somewhere else if they don't like it...they would fit in quite well at WO-S. ;D

While these "yo-yo's" are flipping burgers and cooking onion rings at the local Dairy Queen, Todd is polishing his fist full of Championship rings. :
