I don't know who played rougher or dirtier on the field, but an administrator was summoned by the officials at the half because a small group of deweyville fans were yelling curse words and threatening bodily harm to the BUna players, the officials, and even their own coaches and they WERE WINNING at the half. Probably the same group of fans who were saluting the Buna team with their middle fingers as the team left the field after the game. As for dirty play on the field, all the people who write in and whine at this dirty play or that dirty play...Did any of you every PLAY football. Something happens on nearly every play that could be a penalty. And finally lets remember that these are 16, 17, and 18 year old boys who sometimes let their emotions get the better of them. Losing your head in the heat of battle is somewhat understandable but should not be tolerated. Adults behaving just as bad or worse is just plain asinine. If you don't know what it means look it up

not sure what BUna's enrollment will be , but it is down from the last time it was taken two years ago. We lost around 80-100 students in the aftermath of Rita and have never recovered those numbers.

Maybe I can put this running up the score nonsense to rest once and for all. Buna has four backs that average over 10 yds a carry. That's right the back up fb and tb average more than ten yards a carry. IN the second half of every game this year Buna have put in a back up offensive line. If the backs are still good enough to score with a back up line in front of them, then whose fault is that? It's definitely not Buna's The supposed onside kick was a squib kickthat just never got more than six feet off the ground that hit an Anahuac frontline player in the facemask. Buna finished the game with a first down on the 2 yard line and then kneeled the ball three times to finish the game. This is in response to BuckSweep's tirade about weak schedules. Let's look closer at one of these schedules: Buna's As you know these schedules were formed over two years ago. (1) Burkeville- a 1A school, true, but a 1A school that has won a couple of state championships; never sure what you're going to face with them. (2) HD- a 1A school that I guarantee will play with or beat any 2A school in the area with the exception of Newton, East Chambers, and yes Buna. They had a good passing attack. (3) Tarkington- Okay, I'll give you that one (4) Orangefield- now BUckSweep, I'm assuming that with that name you're from East Chambers or just a huge TB fan, let's look at this common opponent. what you have to realize about Buna is that they are spreading the load among four or five backs. Hardly anyone ever gets more than ten carries a game, yet the team averages right below 400 yds on the ground per game
