^ Check ncaa fbs bylaw 20.9.9.1 for clarification. A school must average at least 15k for a rolling 2 years. LU has averaged about 9k over the past two years. Also, it's gonna be hard to average that when your stadium only holds about 16k. ULLs stadium holds 37k.

Do you realize that there are minimum requirements to become a fbs school set by the ncaa? I'm sure LU would pass those with flying colors. Also, ULL has been fbs for over 20 years...And how many bowl games have they been invited to?
