  1. I certainly won't be using the boat plug or the kill switch!
  2. Charlie had 2 weeks to prepare and we give up 37 IN A HALF?? I might as well put the boat back in the water.
  3. Just got off the water... And holy God... What is this sh#% show?
  4. Afternoon sessions aren't going as planned...
  5. Garrity, is that you??
  6. ^^^Pretty much. But we can't control that as a group of SE Texans. What we can control is how we treat others around us. Whether we like it or not, the world around us is changing. So do we just sit around and tell each other how much we hate change? Or do we adapt and try to make our neck of the woods a better place to live?
  7. And that's your right to feel that way. My thing is we really don't know a hard number of radicals at this point. Unfortunately, this "Change" that big O has given us over the past 8 years has completely changed the makeup of this country.
  8. Don't do anything different in the afternoon, guys. Well...maybe take Phil's driver away from him. At least hit it where they mow!
  9. Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed are proving to be a formidable team. They went 2-0-1 at Gleneagles and so far are 3-up thru 8 over Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose -- who have yet to win a hole. The other matches: McIlroy/Sullivan 1 up thru 7 over Mickelson/Fowler Garcia/Kaymer 1-up thru 5 over Walker/Z.Johnson D.Johnson/Kuchar 3-up thru 5 over Westwood/Pieters
  10. We could survive as an D1 independent. It would be disastrous for the other sports though. If the mormans and the catholics can do it, so can we. I think the B12 should just implode after the GOR expires and we'll probably get picked up by the B1G with OU. That will make corn aggy heads explode all over the Midwest.
  11. Good questions. At least you're thinking about the possibilities rather than just simply saying "No, they wipe their butts with their hands and they stink, so I don't want them over here". That's not what our founding fathers wanted. As to the 5% to 20%, if that's true, my math tells me that is anywhere from 85M to 340M people that want us dead. If that's the case, we're screwed anyway. So here's something for all of our bumpers...
  12. Nobody really knows for certain, but I'd say the number is less than 1% of total Muslims want Derka Derka Mohammed Jihad. Keep in mind, there are 1.7 Billion in the world today. Most of them are just simply trying to find a better place to live than a giant sand box where everyone is afraid for their lives. That area has and always will be war torn. But who are we to tell the peaceful ones they can't come over here? Unless your blood line is majority Indian (feather, not dot), all of us are imports. And this world was A LOT more dangerous in those times than the world we live in today. We think of these times are the most dangerous, but in reality, we're blessed to live in the most safe time this world has ever seen. Social media can make anything look bad. We just have to start using our common sense to figure it out.
  13. Some of that is their culture, some of it would be weeded out by the vetting process. But we sure are quick to convict suspected criminals without due process, especially in regards to the Mooslims. Would we charge and convict El Chapos' people as fast if we didn't know they were connected beforehand? Me thinks not. We would surely give our neighbors to the south the due process they deserve. So why the difference? Because some of them want us dead? Do you realize how small a percentage that is in the grand scheme?
  14. That's like saying Saddam Hussein was better than Hitler or bin laden.
  15. 28-0 coogs...1:37 left in 2nd.
  16. TD coogs, 21-0. This is starting to turn into a whip assin.
  17. They must like being a G5 school... You'd think they would want to do whatever takes to keep the conference together.
  18. 14-0 coogs...9:11 left in 2nd.
  19. TD coogs...7-0 early 2nd.
  20. I saw where they were taking about putting the field on the grass between the grand stands and pit row. At any rate, dumb idea and it needs to die.
  21. Haven't been to TMS, but have been to Talledega a few times. I know Dega is a lot bigger than TMS, but even Bristol was too big with horrible sight lines.
  22. I'll give them a chance. Let's see how long they last working for me. If they last one week, I MIGHT vote for Hillary!
  23. TxHoops is a good t-sip! I'm proud of you, bro.
  24. Yep...it's a vicious circle. And what really drives the economy in a downward spiral is the middle class folks who don't see a nickel's worth of salary bump when the inflation hits. But let's not worry about those folks. They've worked hard all their lives, educated themselves, and for the most part, are standup citizens that make this country work. Let's take care of the folks sitting in their front yard at 2pm, drinking 40's of "Old E" and playing cards...all with about 30 or 40 Obama signs still in their yards from 4 freakin years ago!
  25. You're right about the min. wage ideal. It failed in the 90's to bring prosperity to those they thought it would benefit. People don't understand simple economics if they support this. All raising min. wage does is support inflation in this country. You raise the wage from $7.75 to $15.00/hr, get ready to pay $8-9 for a gallon of milk. Get ready for $10 cartons of eggs...and $5-6 per gallon of gas.
