You’re correct. And while it’s not the only thing, the fact that it’s been pushed high on the Socialist agenda indicates how much it’ll help their efforts. And yes old buddy, it is a sad commentary. I repent & stop, I’m forgiven. If a Priest or Preacher got up in front of the congregation and said he was lusting after Marry Belle, I suspect many would walk out - unless - he repented and vowed to stop. I’m on thin ice here. Don’t mean to offend God or any of you, but I’m worried about us. According to Google 75% of Americans are Christians. I’m afraid that number is very optimistic, but say it’s valid. Now we have splits in most of the major Prostestant denominations over LGBTQ issues. Here’s the thin ice part, and Jmo. Gays should be welcome in all our churches, for we’re all sinners. But imo, if they’re actively gay, they shouldn’t preach in the Church, or hold positions such as Bishop or the equivalent. If you believe the Bible, I don’t see how anyone could/should advocate anything otherwise. Homosexuality is sinful, ergo actively gay people are living in sin. Stop the activity, as we all should avoid sin, and the positions in the Church are limitless. Back to the numbers. If 75% is accurate, how many could still be considered Christians with these splits? My wife and I are both extremely sick. Prayers are our crutch, our foundation for moving forward. I feel extremely bad for folks who don’t have it to rely on. What do they do? Who do they turn too? Vidor was hammered the first 3 games because of fumbles. The two last night, 1 on the Lindale 2 & 1 on their 15, were backbreakers. Without them, it’s a close game, but poo happens. Because of them it embarrassed the Pirates & the District. Still, we’re a ways from competing with Dist 9. I thought last year we’d (Dist 10) come back closer this year but it wasn’t to be. Would love to see Dist 10 compare with 9. Maybe someday.

Ain’t it the dying truth. Some folks can look at a field of flowers and not see the beauty, the accomplishments of nature. Folks like that must lead a miserable life.

Hmmm, about 50% of teams in Texas were preparing for basketball this weekend. Vidor was in the playoffs. Doesn’t sound like a program content with losing. Bet West Brook, Nederland and many others would’ve loved to be playing. No reflection on their programs. Some folks on here just love to rag on Vidor. Always have, always will. Heaven knows we’re no Carthage, but few are. The Pirates have come a long way from Interstate 10 Vidor nothing.
