Made perfect sense to me, but that’s one older person to another. Younger folks have new vocabularies. My introduction into this word game stuff came one day many years ago when talking in front of a couple of my G’kids - I said “cr-p”, which was the word we children used in lieu of the sh-t word (back in the day). My daughter said, “don’t use that word in front of the children. I stood there, mouth open, trying to grasp what she said. Us old folks have a lot to learn. 😂🤣😂

That’s for sure. Solid fundamental football team.

I smell Environmentalist Leftist involved. These loons could care less how it affects Americans or America.

Doubt anyone near as good as Boneyard, but just do your best. He’s one of those rare people who have a gift for it. I’ve no idea how he does it so fast & keeps up. If I was doing it, the next play would be over before I finished the last plays post.

Don’t know Peevey personally, but imo, he’s not only a good Coach but probably charismatic. That would explain the kids buying in so quick. That or he’s just in the right place at the right time, lol.

Thanks for the clarity. Us fans sometimes get carried away.

Holy Moly, first I’ve heard of that. If they have that many starters missing, LCM should win.
-
Final records from pre-District, and they are impressive. District record against non-District opponents is 24 wins & 5 losses. Excellent record. HH - 5-0 Vidor 4-0 Liv, LCM & Splendora 4-1 Ltown 3-2 For comparison, District 9-4A-D1, non-District record, with 7 teams was: 21 wins & 7 losses.

I agree, if they can keep him. The rare times schools, like the ones in our District, get a really good Coach, usually they end up going to a bigger school willing and able to pay more money (can’t blame them). Good luck to the Bears Friday.

Hope you’re able to post at game. Our regular poster (Boneyard Boys) is unable to attend having committed to attend a fundraiser to save the armadillo population in Orange County. BB is high up in the Orange County Chapter of the AARPP (Armadillo’s Are Really Pretty Potent). I ask him why he said, Armadillos are misunderstood. They’re just like opossums, but nature equipped them as armored assault vehicles. Go Pirates!

Pickums, 13, now at: HH - 8 LCM - 5 Still early. Last week in the Jasper vs LCM game, Jasper had the lead in Pickums until last day when LCM surged late (correctly I might add). Will update thru the week because District wise, this is “The Game”.

Jordan back in the middle is going to cut down on those runs. Going to be a big change for Splendora to adjust too.

It’s like rankings, especially early in the season, good conversation piece.

Yep, I saw it when it first came out. My best guess from memory, first 3 Channels were UHF 32 here, Ch 2 in Houston & Ch 11 in Galveston. I was the official family antenna adjuster. When we changed channels I’d go outside & start twisting antenna until my Dad, Mom & sister hollered STOP. Folks today must think how crazy that sounds, lol.

Prior to Friday I’ll be posting my updated prediction for this District. Be advised that my prediction accuracy is atrocious but that’s no reason to stop. 😂😂😂

Been thinking the same thing.

You nailed it. I was able to watch last year since VHS live-streamed home games (why they’re not this year is a mystery). I think he was a Jr & is back this year (#22). Nothing fancy, just good blocking & hard-nosed running. Plus we were using that &#@¥€£ pistol so our offense wasn’t able to move the ball. I hope revenge is enough to get the Pirates fired up this year. With LCM’s improvement, we can’t afford to lose to Splendora.

What’s up with Habits? We get in them, then they start controlling us to an extent. Like that first cup of coffee in the morning. Imo, tobacco, which is addictive, is also a habit. Smokers/dippers know there are certain moments when a cigarette or dip is appropriate. That’s one reason tobacco is so hard to give up. You have to conquer the addiction and the habit. My own example is nightguards. My Dentist made me one because I have grinded (ground?) my teeth down to nothing (I still have all my teeth, but all of my teeth aren’t there anymore, lol). Knowing he was right, I tried to remember to wear the thing, but it was hit & miss for a long time. After much effort over a long period of time, I finally got in the habit of wearing it. Now, if I go to bed without it, I’ll realize it’s not there & have to get up & get it. I’ve always heard we are creatures of habit. I agree, but I think we’re also slaves of habits. Tobacco is a bad one, my nightguard is a good one, but regardless of good or bad, habits are here to stay.

Yes, I had tears running when he shot Old Yeller. RIP Tommy! ✝️✝️✝️

The only thing wrong with California is it full of Californians. Most of that State needs to be declared an Asylum.

They were alone in this huge building. This is a prime example of Woke Gone Wild. Also of the overall mentality of the Left. What has caused this mental disorder (as LRF so aptly calls it)? Is it something in the drinking water? We often say that just as a joke or in exasperation, but I’m beginning to seriously wonder. It’s most predominant in big cities. Country folks on well water don’t seem to go boinkers. Remember the thread/link I posted on 62% of white liberals have mental disorders? I’ll ask again, is it really only 62%?

Liberty is pretty scrappy but Orangefield looks like the real deal. Going with Bobcats.

After watching some of their videos, saw a good receiver, #5. They go to him quite a bit. Thinking back, I think every pass play shown was to him. But yes, I think they still run a lot. This game will be over about when most are finishing the 3rd Qtr. 😂🤣😂

Vidor fans, after a week with no game, are anxious to get back to football. So it’s 4-0 Pirates against the 4-1 Wildcats. Who do y’all like?

Love to have Ltown surprise me, but Livingston just playing to good this year.
