If anyone needs proof, a couple of years ago they had a lady who owned a Flag Store on the local news. She said there were more Texas flags sold than the other 49 States combined. God Bless Texas.

I’d love to see the Cats pull this out but Livingston may have to many weapons. Still, if OF gets a few timely turnovers they could get the win. Good luck Bobcats.

My guess, Ned is way to much for Silsbee, but the Dawgs will see some of the best receivers they’ll see all year. If Ned has any weakness in the secondary Silsbee could make a game of it.

West Orange Stark looking for an someone toplay
Hagar replied to Stangfan#1's topic in High School Football
Good grief, I hope Brazosport doesn’t drop out of the Vidor game. Think the Pirates had enough Stangs in the earlier scrimmage. 😀 -
Vidor best them 26-20 in OT. Ltown beat them 32-28. Hope both our teams win again. Heck, Vidor & Ltown are both 2-0. Christmas is early this year. 😀😀😀

As I remember, he was very mobil and a weapon by himself. And their defense had us stymied, but maybe we were running that dumb offense as opposed to the QB under center. But that was a year ago & my memory is iffy at best, lol.

At first glance Brazosport could be easily overlooked. On opening weekend they were defeated by Sealy 43-14, and were idle this past Friday. But Sealy came back and defeated Navasota 40-30, so it appears they’re solid. I suspect Brazosport will give the Pirates all they want. I anticipate a close ball game.

What are they feeding the boys in Edna TX?
Hagar replied to Boneyard Boys's topic in High School Football
They (3A-1) donkey stomped 4A-1 Bay City 31-13 Friday. Bay City, while not world beaters, consistently have a decent program. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Edna get into the Top Ten if they’re able to continue this impressive start. -
Heard lots of signs of the Apocalypse. Vidor & Lumberton both starting off 2-0 is scary. 😂😂😂

Huffman with another good team. Should be fireworks when they play Livingston. -
Always glad to see a 2-0 start to the season. 😄

Somehow, it’s being removed from our from society. Whether by TV, Social Media, food/diet, or through education, I have no idea, but there are so many who don’t have it anymore. It’s been an integral part of human development and survival. The fact that our ultimate downfall may be attributed to the simple loss of common sense, I find ironic.

Initial Covid rarely affected the kids. This new strain seems to hit kids almost as bad as adults. A very, very bad flu like disease.

Week 2 Texan Live broadcasts of coverage area games

That should be a good one. -
There are some who, when their dog or cat would have an unexpected litter, would place the newborns in a burlap bag & throw them in the river. If caught doing that now, the Law would be on you like white on rice. Yet we legalize the killing of human fetuses. This is the strangest thing to me. I don’t condone either action, but look at this picture and rationalize it to me, for it makes zero sense.

Won’t be long now. Hope Pirates can eliminate mistakes & pull out another win. Think the rest of the pre-district Sch is perfect. Teams get progressively better ending with Jasper. Old bs fits, one game at a time.

SA Cornerstone at Carthage/Predictions?
Hagar replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
Poor SA Cornerstone. -
They did last year, but haven’t got around to it this year. Why? Great question.
-
Wouldn’t surprise me.

I look for Crosby to give Manvel all they want. Often being the underdog gives a team incentive. Hope it’s so with Crosby.

Vidor had a big, bald headed, DC many years ago. They were one of the top teams around in interceptions and one kid was close to the lead statewide in interceptions. What a genius. Wish the Pirates had another like him because 95% of teams today live and die by the pass. Of course I’m basing it on Silsbee, and with their basketball/ football players, they probably have some of the better receivers around. If nothing else, basketball players can catch a pass. There are still four more games to get the secondary clicking before District. Let’s hope they work it out.
