  1. It’s not the SC, but his scores from 5AD1 Regional. Reg 1 - 28-7 & 21-19 Reg 2 - 45-27 & 64-50 Reg 3 - 33-29 & 49-0 Reg 4 - 56-42 & 77-64 Dang, except for Reg 1, that’s some high scores. I did notice that 5AD1 is quite a bit lower.
  2. I think Ned got star-struck. Hope Crosby learns from that. I think the Cougars can win this game, but it’ll take another flawless game, and maximum effort. I’ll certainly be pulling for them. Btw, anyone hazard a guess on the over/under?
  3. Since so many younger folks are asymptomatic, & show no symptoms, & since so many in here haveit/had it, makes me wonder what percentage of the population may have already been infected. Hopefully, between the infected & the shots, we could, sooner than expected, see a light at the end of this dark tunnel.
  4. Congrats Cougars. Keep on keeping on. 👍
  5. Plays like that will break a teams back.
  6. Not many good defenses anymore. Be great to see a classic struggle between the irrestible force & the immovable object. Go Crosby!
  7. Went to the Dome several times to watch the Indians play under him. A well oiled machine. In those days many referred to them as the University of PNG. RIP Coach. ✝️✝️✝️
  8. A very Merry Christmas to all of you, and never forget the reason for the season. Years like 2020 will come and go, but Christ will be with us forever.
  9. Many are satisfied with the election results, regardless of how they were obtained. No one in power seems to wonder how an old man, with obvious mental problems, could get 22% more votes than anyone in history. But I’m curious. How many voting machines have been audited - checked by computer analysts? How many mail in votes have been verified to see if 1. Is the voter registered? 2. Is the voter a resident? 3. Is it the voters signature? 4. Is the voter alive? Basically, has there been an investigation? To my knowledge no. Until someone does those things, no judge, whatever his political background will do anything. Here’s a similar situation. Lance Armstrong won 7 straight Tour de France cycling competitions. An accomplishment comparable to a senile old man getting 80 Million votes for president. Armstrong did this while repeatedly passing drug test. He wasn’t exposed until there was an investigation. Biden’s win has passed the drug test (recounts), but could it survive an intense scrutiny-investigation? I don’t think so.
  10. You’ll be in my prayers big buddy. Hopefully, between your O-Neg & youth (Age is relative), you’ll come through unscathed. Anyone over 65, or anyone with underlying issues, are in the most danger (which is me). That group should be extremely careful. I suggest everyone keep a small container of hand sanitizer to carry around in your pocket. I keep one on me, and use it often.

  12. It is nice/fun to have a Liberal back on here, but I fear his presence will be short. Trying to defend the indefensible is hard to do. 😂😂😂
  13. Oh, I have the right link now. Perhaps you should read it if you found the heading interesting. I’d be curious to see your thoughts. 😄
  14. Put in wrong link. Crazy me. Got the correct one in now.

  16. He pulled that Barrett Station on me once. I know College Station. I know Greyhound Bus Station. Just never heard of Barrett Station. 😜
  17. Old Stalin, as evil and ruthless as he was, knew a lot about people.
  18. One thing the US Government had that worked right (for a Govt operation), has fallen to the Liberal PC Insanity, the Military. I wonder if the anti secessionist will lose any members over this? At this point, if the Chinese landed at Sabine Pass, the best option would be a welcoming committee. [Hidden Content]
  19. Got to love liberals. Dr. Who said Covid is bad, Yes the liberals agree. The CDC said Covid is spreading, Yes, the liberals agree. WHO says we need to lockdown, Yes the liberals agree. Then WHO says they’re against lockdowns. From the liberals, silence. [Hidden Content] But we continue to strangle small businesses, our economy, and our nation, with them. Even locally it appears we’re going to tighten the screws. Enough.
  20. Exactly my point. The new rules, and wide open offenses has made defense the step child of football. I went back and looked at Aledo a few years. Durn they put up large numbers. Very few defenses can hold them down, which is similar to most consistently successful teams. And yes, the domed stadiums is another asset to the Offense.
  21. It’s done.
  22. I made a recent post about the High Scores in recent playoff games, wondering if Defense still wins. MBG suggested a thread. So here we are. Most of us agree that in the past, Defense wins Championships, but the rule changes have favored the Offense so much, and Offenses have become more potent, is that still true? One, helmet to helmet contact (targeting) - in a game with kids going full speed, running, spinning, jumping. Great reason for the rule, but like several others, a handicap to Defense. So I looked at some scores. I’ve limited it to the two top classifications, 4A & above until 2013, and 5A & 6A 2014 To today, and have no idea when the rules were inacted, so I’m just looking at fairly recent years. 6A started in 2014. Total scores, Prior to 2014 (4A & 5A only): 2000 - 197 - High 62, Ennis 38/WOS 24. Low 26, Bay City 24/Denton 2 2005 - 183 - High 59, HP 59/Marshall 0. Low 28, Lewisville 28/Calallen 0. 2010 - 234 - High 103, Aledo 69/La Marque 34. Low 34, Austin LT 27/Denton Ryan 7. 2013 - 243 - High 91, Allen 63/Pearland 28. Low 45, Dento Guyer 31/N Brennan 14. Definitely a pattern started between 2005 & 2010. Now 2014 5A & 6A 2014 - 273 - High 94, Aledo 49/Temple 45. Low 43, Cedar Hill 23/Katy 20. 2019 - 209 - High 97 Aledo 45/FBM 42. Low 24, A Westlake 24/Denton Guyer 0. Are D’s Catching up, or is 2019 an anomaly? There were 266 points in 2018 and a big 295 in 2017. Be interesting to see the totals for 2020. If the 4A games are any indication, it could get big again. Carthage 70 Gilmer 14 & Argyle 49 Lindale 21. What do y’all think? BTW, since I’m old and senile, I hope my math is right. Here’s the source of my info. [Hidden Content]
  23. Are you in custody yet? I know a good lawyer. 😂🤣😂
  24. Guess FB & Twitter will censor this. And MSM will ignore. Positive story. No scary stuff. [Hidden Content]
  25. Imo, very close, but Ned pulls out the win. A Pirate pulling for Ned, what is the world coming too. 😂🤣😂 Go Bulldogs.
