I agree. When my G’son was in the 9th grade there, as I remember the Dale had an open week, so they sent all 12 of the 9th & 10th graders to play Vidor’s 9th Grade (about 40). It was respectable score wise, but Vidor Coaches played a lot of 2nd & 3rd stringers. 😂😷😂

Grand idea, but since the Left is in the process of destroying history, and rewriting it, I have to wonder what would be taught. I recently was saying that many (indigenous) Indian tribes were some of the greatest/bravest warriors on the earth. The liberal response was to trash what I said. Folks on the Left have been taught that all American Indian were peace loving folks who sit around the fire smoking Peace pipes. It just ain’t so.

Reminds me of a discussion I had long ago. Guy said you had to be baptized to go to heaven. I ask him, what if a guys dying in the desert (no water around) and wants to accept Jesus as his Savior? He said, Well he should’ve gotten baptized when he was around water. Big eye roll from me. There endeth the discussion.

That’s the thing most haven’t come to grips with yet. Unlike the flu, which leaves in the summer, we know this virus doesn’t mind hot or cold. And still, only about 5% have had it, that we know of. This thing will be with us for many years to come. Will we forgo normalcy for years? No classroom teaching? No extracurricular activities for the kids? I won’t even go into the adult world with this speculation. It’s going to be a long row to hoe.

That’s the most stunning thing. The Democrats are basing their strategy on the rantings of a young ex-bartender, with an Economics Degree, that knows nothing about economics (so how did she get her degree? My speculation is X-rated). Follow this trail. Several decades ago, Dems got offended when you called them Liberals. Then they were okay with that. Not long ago, they were offended when you called them Socialist. Some still get rankled a little, but many wear it with pride, plus the fact that their actions speak louder than words. Only one more step to go. Big moves take big actions. What did Karl Marx & Hitler do? Rioting, pitting one against another. Marx’s used the peasants against the Czars ruling class. Hitler used his aryans against the Jews. The Far Left will use blacks against whites. Jmo

There’s other problems with starting online. Most teachers will have a whole classroom of new students. They won’t know the students. Which ones need extra help? Which ones parents are doing their work? Were I a teacher, I’d be concerned about that. As Eagleforever said, if we wait until Covid is no more, it’ll be years. Prayers our leaders make the right decisions.

Only plus about all this, they’re helping get Trump re-elected. Had a march in NYC the other day against defunding the Police, which de Blasio has already done. Doubt most inner city people are thrilled with having their neighborhoods shot up & innocent children killed. They may not vote for Trump, but they probably won’t vote at all.

Sad thing is, by the time someone gets the guts to fix it, it’s going to take a lot more fixing.
