Many of the more intellectuals are against Sports of any kind. Could some kids playing football get Coronavirus? Sure. Could they get it anyway? Sure. And who’s the least likely to have adverse affects from it - a teenager in good physical condition. If I thought HS football would be more dangerous from a Covid aspect, I’d be against it, but I don’t see it. But hey, I’m just another Yahoo with an opinion. Kids are going to be around other kids.

In my few years at Lamar, naturally we had some Liberal Professors, but at least in those days, they were fair. From what I hear now, you take a Rolaid and write, at least, with a moderate liberal slant. And heck no, don’t argue with them. One thing I am curious about, why in a conservative State, at a State funded University, would it be okay to have ultra (liberal) biased people teaching young minds? I can’t wrap my head around that.

Know someone at Lamar just about finished getting a degree in Crimnal Justice. One class required a Rhetorical Analysis paper. My friend wanted to do a paper on Pro Life. The Professor denied it. That’s what students are facing now.

Many of mine are addressed “Ashley this / Ashley that”. I wonder if some dingbat (named Ashley) just picked a number at random, and it was mine.

Like most folks, I don’t answer unknown calls, and then block the numbers. Got a new phone, but though new, it’s not a new model. It does have a nice touch, keeping the phone from ringing for unknown calls. But now the scammers have started texting me, which I don’t have an easy way to block, but figured out a way. I get a lot of these text now. You package from Amazon is delayed, and they have an attachment. You’re new phone is ready for pickup, see details. Used to seldom get these, now I’m getting 2-3 a day on average. Any of y’all getting these texts, or am I just lucky? Most have NY area codes.

The topic was about CNN saying Jesus wasn’t perfect. You attacked The Pope and Catholicism, blaming them in defense of CNN. Catholics are a denomination of Christianity, just like Baptist, Episcopals, Pentecostal, Methodist, and yes, Seventh Day Adventist (and many others). Crawl out of your bubble and look at it from others perspective. Instead of criticizing CNN, you choose to criticize another Christian denomination in your defense of CNN. Think about that. About how that looks to other Christians. Defending CNN by criticizing people, in their own way, trying to follow Christ’s teaching.
