  1. That’s the only concern I have about the Tigers. At the end of the Nederland game the D looked gassed. When they get far in the playoffs will they be able to play 48 at 100%. Hope so.
  2. Livingston & Vidor threw the District race guesses into shambles Friday night. Everyone is back to the drawing board to pick the 4 teams, and order, that’ll be playoff bound. This game, and V vs Ltown, could make things worse. Either Vidor or Livingston wins it’ll turn everything upside down even worse. I expect the Bears to win but….. I expected them to win last week, AND I expected the Lions to lose, but now- who knows.
  3. Any Catholics on Liberty’s team, they might want to get Last Rites prior to the kickoff.
  4. This is a classic game of “whack-a-mole” for Ltown and “keepaway” for Vidor. Ltown must stop the Slot T to get the ball. Vidor has to grind out yards & clock to score. Ltown no ball - no score. Vidor’s best D is keeping the Ltown O on the bench. Vidor gets into 3 & out, this’ll turn into a slaughter. As I said last week, hope for a good game with no injuries. Go Pirates!
  5. Different tab? What you talking about Willis? 😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️😂😂😂
  6. Time to blow off steam…………. I hear news folks talking about things that influence the vote - abortion - inflation - crime - this - that - well here’s my take. My wife just got back from buying groceries. We went over the prices for some of the items. I don’t usually buy them but I go sometimes. I know not long ago you paid $1.89 for a dozen eggs - now around $4. Milk was $3 a gallon, now $5. A package of sliced cheese was less than $5 and now $7. Good grief - can you tell inflation is my #1 pain in the kister? The durn inflation is a crime. I’m seriously thinking about getting a ball pein hammer and going after Biden’s jewels. They wouldn’t be spheres anymore, but little flat pancakes. How anyone from middle class down would think of anything besides inflation when voting is crazy. We spent $300+ for what should’ve been about $200. Hope it doesn’t affect y’all as much as it does my wife & I (and our cat). It’s no longer a nuisance but a full scale problem. Good Grief!
  7. Evidently here’s more proof the grass is not always greener on the other side of the hill. For many WOS fans, this side looks like a septic tank ran over. Hope someone gets it figured out. Hate to see a storied program like the Mustangs fall completely off the radar.
  8. If the Pirates can run the Slot T like they did last night, it’ll keep that stud QB on the bench. That’s Vidor’s only hope. Ltown is the real deal this year. Going to be a tough game for Vidor. Doubt the Ltown Coaches will have any sleepless nights this week. They’re bound to know what a huge favorite the Raiders are. This will just be a warmup game for them. They’ll breeze through district like a hot knife through butter.
  9. Not meant to reflect negatively on the pickers or picks, merely to show how little faith folks had in the Pirates. BTW, I’d picked LCM too. 😂
  10. Just went through the Pickums. Want too guess how many pickled Vidor? Yep, none, nada, zippo, zero, goose egg. Not will they next Friday. Pirate fans love it.
  11. Despite the negative comments, I think it’s great. So easy to get out of your thread, glance at headers to see other scores, bam back to your game. How can you not like that? In the past, had to go into thread & look for score. Great job guys.
  12. Like a Dem counting votes. 😂😂☠️☠️😂😂
  13. This is weird. Never, ever, remember seeing a Nederland Bulldog Team with no heart. This is so uncharacteristic. There’s definitely something rotten in Denmark.
  14. Well my, my, my. Lil old Vidor getting to play the #7 Team in the State (if not higher after that impressive win last night). I suspect the Pirates will be star-struck next Friday. What an honor. No doubt the Ltown Coaches will spend all week planning how to defeat Huffman on the 21st. Vidor? Ho-hum. Nothing to see here.
  15. You ain’t fooling me. That high powered Ltown offense is virtually unstoppable. There’s a reason they’re ranked 7th in the State. I was going to ask you to talk to the HC there & have him take it easy on the Pirates. Thank you in advance. Good friends are hard to find. 👍👍👍☠️☠️☠️🤪😉😜
  16. I watched highlights on the Tailgate Party. Showed one of his TD runs. At least 5 Pirates had arms around him & he ran right through them. Great RB. Speaking of RB’s, Vidor must have used at least 6. Difference in the Pirates last night (imho), stopped gifting (turnovers) the opponent. And first time this year they took control with long drives that resulted in scores - eat up clock - had the D sucking wind. If they continue to do that they should continue to win.
  17. Based on how the game went you’re assessment is right on. Even listening to audio broadcast only, the Bears sounded flat. Like their hearts weren’t in it.
  18. Big win. Got another ho-hum opponent next week. Everyone knows Vidor beating LCM was just a fluke. Ltown rolls.
  19. Livingston & Vidor ruined a bunch of pickums. 😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️😂😂😂
  20. Thanks again BB. You the Man!
  21. No doubt Peevey is a great Coach but he made several big snafu’s tonight. Going for it deep in own territory early in the game on 4th down and that first onside kick. Bet he’d love to have those two back.
  22. Hey, guess how many folks picked LCM to beat Vidor. I love that too.
