  1. When is Snapshot Day, and after that, how long before announced?
  2. Told my wife, Iโ€™d rather have him up than anyone. Way to go Altuve.
  3. Hate to say it, but good at bat for that Yank. Durn it.
  4. Back to back DP Innings. Sweet.
  5. What a great D play by Brantley
  6. I think we can pretty much rule out MVP for him.
  7. Correa is due. Wasnt exactly what I had in mind. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  8. With Stros batters tied in knots and Yanks hitting like batting practice? Panic is an option.
  9. Should we panic now? Donโ€™t like how things are going.
  10. On the plus side, it was a durn good pitch.
  11. Absolutely. Major League batter should be able to hit those corner pitches. Course I pitched imo Iโ€™m biased. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  12. Sweet. Gurriel with a 3 run HR.
  13. I look for a few Pirates going both ways this week. All things being the same, Iโ€™d take Vidor relatively easy, but this is Ned. Pirates have historically had problems with the Bulldogs. This one will be close. A must win for both. Oh, and another advantage Ned has, Vidor not used to playing on natural grass. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  14. BH takes it going away, 38-14.
  15. Lol, I know itโ€™s frustrating, and Iโ€™ve only seen Vidor on films since 2012. But for all you Vidor fans a little younger than me, Iโ€™ve seen this Slot T offense score more in one game than some Pirate teams in the early 70โ€™s, did in the whole season. For instance, in Team Histories, Total Pts 1971 - 72. Same in 1972 - 72. In 1973 - 68. I have no idea how big our Lineman are, but from what Iโ€™ve read, PNG & The Hill have some monster kids. Not sure we could pass block them for long. Hopefully Ned is more our size.
  16. Not sure itโ€™s just the offense. Donโ€™t get me wrong, itโ€™s got problems, but still.... Last year, it averaged 35 points a game. In 2017 it was 30 per game. Not sure why itโ€™s not putting up big numbers this year. Perhaps the Coaches are putting the better players on Defense, which is doing admirably. Iโ€™m no Coach, but I think if you could incorporate the forward pass into it, that offense would be formidable. Just not many kids that can QB, run great, and still throw passes on the money. For the smallest school in the Dist, possibly going down to 4A, the kids are playing their butts off. Mighty proud of them.
  17. As usual, thanks Boneyard Boys for the great posting. Pirates played a good game, just to much Barbers Hill. Cancel the Eagle etouffee.
  18. Cโ€™mon D. Need a stop.
  19. Who are the Yankees playing, and what have they done with the Astros?
