Lol, that was back prior to Desert Shield/Storm. He’s getting old like me. And no way he’s getting in that old Marine uniform (course, I could get in my old Army one either, lol).

I don’t go to the games anymore, but sounds like Refs are getting more playing time than the starters. Just hope they don’t get “flag happy”. Some of these newer Refs seem to think they ought to throw flags often. To a point, let the kids play. It’s getting as bad as basketball.

Meanwhile, back on topic. I almost fail out of my recliner when I saw the final on this game, and falling out of a laid back recliner ain’t easy, lol. All I can figure, the Indians just got caught napping. And that fumble scoop for a TD, lit a fire under the Cougars. Jmo (guess)

It does give a D fits if they’ve never seen it before. And IF you had a kid like M. Quirante running it, that was also a real good passer, it’d be almost unstoppable, like Pleasant Grove was last year. Those type kids are scares as hens teeth though. 😂

High praise from a Titan fan, but you always call’em like you see’em. Still fascinated with your 2016 prediction in the PA vs Vidor game. Best as I can remember (which ain’t saying much at my age, lol) you were the only one picking the Pirates.

No offense BHFAN, but I hope the Eagles have got the big head so bad their helmets won’t fit, and all they’re thinkinking about is playing, and beating, Crosby the following Friday. Snaps over QB’s head. Mishandled handoffs. Fumble the ball 8 times, and QB has one of those nights were no pass goes where it’s suppose to. 💩 happens. 😂😂😂

And here we are entering week 4 of District play and it’s still real iffy. By virtue of “we gotta eliminate someone”, let’s cut Dayton & Santa Fe. Still leaves 6 teams that have a real chance. Who do you cut now? Lee? Two losses, but to the two teams that most picked 1 & 2 in Dist. Vidor? Two wins, one over Crosby, who is still in the hunt. Ned? Two losses, but still, Ned. The point is, it’s still tough to narrow it down to 4. Going to be fun watching how this plays out.

But my point, Law Man, Turkey invading Syria in no way, that I can see, aids Rusdia. Russia has been there, and they’re still there, so the title of your thread doesn’t appear correct or pertinent. Feel free to correct me if you disagree.

So let me see if I understand. Turkey is taking over part of Syria, whose leader is Assad and the Russians, and this is helping Russia how? Looks like it’s possible that Turkey May take over the whole country and dispose of Assad and the Russians. Do you think they want to take on the Turks? Sorry, but I don’t see where this aids Russia whatsoever.

Fact is, the Bost kid has stepped into a no-win situation. Is he good? Based on the PNG posters yes, but dang folks, why keep bringing up Roshon? Roshon is like Vidor’s Montana Quirante in the fact that those type kids don’t come along that often. Wish everyone would cut Bost some slack. Btw, I don’t know Bost, and am not a PNG fan.

I’m still surprised it was only 22-0 at half. I’d figured it would’ve been more like the San Augustine vs HD game with 55-0 at half. Games like this make the Vegas point spread people have ulcers 😂😂😂

PNG must have had a let down after the “brawl” with Vidor. And that might explain why Vidor struggled with a less than stellar Santa Fe. Hopefully both teams will be back to normal next Friday.

Mind was only 6’2” 230, and could eat a cow with 2 baked potatoes and a salad. Stop at McDonalds - Mc DLT, Big Mac, an Dbl Qtr Pounder W/cheese, & large fries. Our food bill crashed when he went in the Marine Corp. 😂😂😂

Vidor has had little success against BH. Their DC, like Santa Fe’s, has gotten defending the Slot T down pat. I’m afraid BH will have to have a really miserable night (like PNG did against Crosby) for the Pirates to win. But poo does happen. 6’8” at 330lbs - how can they afford to feed him? 😂😂

Agreed. And isn’t it ironic that over recent years, Vidor has scored 20, 30, and 40 points and lost because the opponents have scored 30, 40 and 50 points. Still, the Pirates, picked in the bottom two of Dist by many, have been a pleasant surprise. It’d be nice if they got it all going the rest of the year.

I have no idea how they do that point differential, but my math would have PNG & Vidor going (P&V +2 - C -4) If that’s how they do it. But hey, get them Pirates ready for BH.

This game just proves how little I know about picking winners.

Got to hand it to Huffman, they showed their stuff. I was pulling for the Raiders, but haven’t seen them play. But they put up 3 TD’s. If the Offense scored all of them, not sure I’d blame it all on them. The Falcons scored 5 TD’s, so seems like the Defense didn’t do all that well. Or maybe, HH is just that good. Lot of ifs and maybes. Raiders just need to concentrate on next game.
