The problem with young folks today, they need a pat on the back. As long as it’s low enough, hard enough, and often enough.

One last post from me on Refs. I haven’t been to a game since my G’son played his last one two years ago. Old back isn’t in great shape. Anyway, I sit here and bounce from post to post looking at a lot of games/post. Never remember seeing so many comments about officiating as I’ve seen this year. Not even close. But here’s the deal. There’s not as many people going into officiating, and love’em or hate’em, they’re a necessary part of the game. The result of all this is naturally, a reduction in the quality of officiating. It’s a problem that will get even worse as time goes by. Frustrating, for players and fans.

I understand the “asssting” the Refs getting a penalty correct, but some of the other alleged comments attributed to the PA person are out of line. Hope the School addresses that.

Lol, sure will be. I always had a love/hate relationship with Cherokee. Probably the best fight song I’ve heard, but dang, I heard it so much in some games. 😂😂😂

It’s a shame that such a good ballgame has been delayed and reduced to disparaging remarks. Hope the kids get to finish.

So you’re upset that the PA announcer corrected the officials mistake? He made things right and you don’t want it to be right? In this age of instant replays in almost every sport, this is a small thing, but a correct one. You may complain, but it’s still right.
